we are facing an issue with the Flex Block only.
When we create new posts we often have the thumb placeholder not showing, actually nothing – which then causes the formating to fail for our newsroom page.

I went through it, there is no solution given there, even the person who started the thread says, it is not working for them.
You need to test AMP out thoroughly, please. We tried on two websites and there are no tracking results.
Yup, does not work for us either. We tried on all our sites. GA4 AMP with newspaper is not tracking AMP pageviews, users etc.

In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called ” Single Post Content ” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/

In order to customize the ads on mobile, this will depend on the mobile version that you use. You can choose from three different options:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. First, I want to make sure that I was able to inform you of all data about the mobile versions that our theme can have.
1. Responsive version, this is by default when you install the theme and you do not use the mobile page or mobile theme plugin.
2. Mobile page/template this allows you to create with tagDiv Composer and cloud a different layout and set different elements for mobile and iPad/tablet and it will overwrite the responsive version.
3. Mobile theme plugin, this is a light theme version for mobile that will overwrite the mobile page and responsive version if enabled. The mobile plugin is also used as a template for amp version.
So when you have a mobile page/template this will be used instead of a responsive version, but if you also have the mobile theme enabled, this one will override both of them.
How to combine them? Yes, this can be possible, for example, the mobile page/template will apply only on that page or cloud template that is assigned. But what to do if you want to use a mobile theme plugin too? If you use the mobile theme, in the Gutenberg editor it is an option to disable the mobile theme in the current post/page, if you use the option, then it will use the mobile page/template (if assigned) or the responsive version.
So in your case, you can disable the mobile theme on the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/NX57q4t.png or if you do not want it at all, disable the plugin or use it only for amp -> https://i.imgur.com/Grlz5Ee.png.

I am unable to add archive templates for custom taxonomies. I am using ACF plugin. When I import a blank template it’s added in the list of templates in Cloud templates->CPT/Taxonomies->Custom Taxonomies – Templates, but when I make any change to the template from the edit option that we get when we hover on three dots (not edit with TD composer), it disappears from the list.
For example, I imported a template from cloud library for a custom taxonomy that I created called “section,” When I clicked on edit, it took me to new tab. There I changed its name from Blank taxonomy to Section taxonomy template and updated it.
When I retured back to the CPT/Taxonomies section of the cloud library and scrolled down, I found that my template was no longer there. This message was written there: “No cloud templates. Please import one or more templates from Cloud Library.”
I tried this 5 times — same results. I once even tried not making any changes, just clicked the update button. It still disappeared. But surprizingly, I found all the invisible templates at this url: “mydomain[dot]com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=tdb_templates”
My website even sent me an email regarding the fatal error caused by tagDiv Cloud Library. You can see the snipped it sent me below:

Please also note that there are options in the edit window to select the template type from the dropdown like “header, search, tag, etc.” I tried to experiment with that as well. I once kept it at default “No template type” and after encountering the issue changed it to tag, but it didn’t help. I couldn’t find an option for custom taxonomy in the dropdown.
Custom post types and taxonomies are the foundation of my website from structural perspective. This issues has caused me great inconvenience and more than that, frustration. Please help.

Because of these javascript errors, my site lags a lot in Google. I started getting errors after updating the newspaper theme.

Out of nowhere AMP started giving problems. I wrote here. authorized friend solved the problem with “mobile theme”. But; Google ranking did not improve. Good URLs are zero. I want to use AMP normally. Please help me.

A site skin add is something that advertiser sometime ask us, and that newspaper don’t have, only background add, which leaves us no other option but decline the ad campaign.
Tried several plugins, without success.
In other posts already pointed some problems and bugs with the ad placement in newspaper.

I’m using a custom shortcode which I place in the sidebar on cloud archive templates and cloud single post templates.
The shortcode works fine with standard pack templates but fails to render anything in cloud templates.
The shortcode is really simple, like this.

I assume it’s because the categories and tags aren’t being fetched by the cloud templates so is_category or in_category aren’t working properly.
What do I need to do in order for the shortcode to work in cloud templates?
Do I need to declare the queried object id’s somehow?

please, do you have some experiences about using this plugin and ads placed as background or ad placed next to content, aligned with content left or right.
Plugin has option like “main content element”, is used for element to align ads to. Im nit able to find right CSS element.
Im not able to setup this.
What is the expectation?
Place ad next to content or in background, left side or right side, sticky or not sticky.
Any advice to make it work, will be great.
Only what work is align ads as sticky to page, but not align to content.

Facing exactly the same issue.
This seems to be happening when “Double opt-in email” is enabled in Leads block (placed in footer, for example) – e.g. user must receive an email and confirm subscription.
