Hello Vunt!
I see that you have installed the Mobile theme plugin.
We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page. Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. You can see your mobile version there and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!
Hello!
There are some settings on the block. Add a flex block and change the category tag color from the Style tab and the exclusive badge from the Layout tab (exclusive label). You can search the options on the shortcode, for example, https://app.screencast.com/GkCPbMxE9Kndx
Thank you
Hello Vunt!
Check the CSS tab of the element’s settings and add a zero value at the bottom margin. For example: https://app.screencast.com/8QRsMB0MaV3Nj
Thank you!
Hi,
If possible I suggest building the website with the theme you want to use from the start. Because if you switch the themes, you will have to do it all over again. It will be like using a different theme.
But if its not possible, it will however be relatively easy to switch themes if you plan on using theme demos. For example you start with Newsmag, then at some point you switch to Newspaper and install a Newspaper demo. Customizing it will take some time, but not that long. The rest of the pages built with Newsmag may need adjustments, because while some blocks are compatible between themes, the others are not and will have to be replaced.
Bottom-line, it would be better/easier to start with Newspaper directly if this is the theme you plan to use on the website. This way you can avoid reworking the website after you switch themes.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you!
Fixed it finally. The conflict was due to deactivated Mobile Theme and AMP plugins, while I had mobile templates which I actually didn’t need.
Hello,
When I view page source I find this code that I want to be removed :
<span class="td-page-meta" itemprop="author" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Person">
<meta itemprop="name" content="Name of the author">
<meta itemprop="url" content="https://example.com/author/nameoftheauthor/">
</span>
I have rankmath plugin installed. When I asked their support, they said that this code is not added by the Rank Math plugin. So logically it was added by the theme. Can you please show me how to remove it.
Thank you in advance!
Team,
Thanks for the great work you have done.
I want to ask a question that I have purchased the regular license which we can use on 1 site. But I have 2 sites running on sub domain one is for development where we test everything and other is the production. Can I use license key in both first to set everything up on dev site and then move it to production.
For example
dev.mysite.com (dev and testing)
http://www.mysite.com (production)
Can i use the same license key in both or I can’t?
I really cannot understand how to create a custom Homepage Template and save it for importing latter to another website for example.
What is Export theme settings in Import/Export in theme panel page and how to use it in a new Template?
Hello!
The settings for that menu page are located in the theme panel. The mobile page can not be edited with the tagDiv Composer or add whatever element you want. The social icons from the mobile menu come from the Theme Panel -> Social/Apis -> Social Networks -> https://i.imgur.com/kKYIECB.png. Remove/edit them as needed.
There are only a few settings for it in the theme panel. For example, you can change the color of the text in the mobile menu from the Theme panel -> Theme colors -> Mobile menu -> Text/icons color.
However, you can change the shortcode with a modal popup shortcode triggered by a button that can look like the current mobile menu. That page can also be edited with the tagDiv Composer https://app.screencast.com/d00epUU2ygyXk?conversation=sLox9iaB82db2YHmnEOrFF and customized with more than just some options from the theme panel settings.
More info about modal popup here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modal-popup/
Thank you!
In the demo video for designing from scratch, at the 2:00:05 timestamp, there is thin line use to check alignment of the elements. Where is that option and how to use it?
How do we send the screenshot for your reference?
The widget reference that you have sent is a particular example. There could be many types of widget that can be created and used.
We want a detailed reference for widgets and not just a particular one at this moment.
Hello! Is there a way to use the Post Loop to display posts from a specific category? For example, I have two categories: “News” and “Reports.” In the first block, I need to show only posts from the “News” category, and in the second block, only posts from the “Reports” category.
Thank you Bettina.
Is there any detailed reference with examples for creating and customizing:
Widgets
Sidebars
Monetization/Ads from Adsense, other networks, and sponsored ads
Hello,
Can you please provide more details about what you want to add? Please provide screenshots and examples.
Thank you!
Dear Tagdiv team & forum,
in order to increase accibility, I am supposed to add ARIA landmarks to my site https://s-quin-magazin.de/.
Apparently the landmarks “landmark-one-main” (“ensure the document has a main landmark”) and “region” (“ensure all content is contained by landmarks”) are missing on pages and posts. I thought I could fix it in the templates, but since the pages are made with the TagDiv Composer, I am afraid to make a mistake.
How do I add the landmarks? What’s the code? And where do I place it?
Thank you so much!!
Lots of greetings,
Gunnar
Hello,
You need to set the class on the section you want to add in the menu here -> https://i.imgur.com/ijbtbuA.png -> https://i.imgur.com/1UsN9MS.jpeg and create a menu like this -> https://i.imgur.com/NkagIhf.png -> https://pastebin.com/LCgarG0E example https://pastebin.com/RksYgSC2
Thank you!

Hello,
I just checked and for me works -> https://i.imgur.com/jAa5a8F.png Can you please provide an example from your website where is the error?
Thank you!
I noticed that the post image sizes change depending the link. For example if you click on widget the post image is smaller. I created a screen shot a video to further explain – https://www.awesomescreenshot.com/video/38287159?key=8a7bb625e0ca00e07c8c4d3aa738034c
The image size i actually – https://tinyurl.com/245cnhr7 but when the image appears in the post it is resized smaller.
I hope I was able to explain that.
Thanks
In the “td-inline-css-aggregated” block there are a lot of duplicate CSS declarations.
For example in this page:
https://www.mrw.it/trovare-font-immagine/?nowprocket
Search in the source the string:
body, p { font-family: “Open Sans” }
.td-scroll-up[data-style=’style2′] .td-scroll-up-tooltip { background-color: #384764 }
It’s just an example.
Through a tool I was able to verify that there are more than 100 duplicate declarations on this page.
The duplicated css code seems really a lot. It’s true that it loads later but the weight of the page increases significantly.
Why does this happen?
Hello!
Please uninstall the Mobile theme and AMP plugin. Clear the cache and try again.
Thank you!
I followed the instructions from your forum post:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/set-custom-header-for-every-language/
I created a separate header template for each language, for example:
Header Template – English
Header Template – Germany
I then set each template as global for its respective language. I tried both methods: duplicating the original version and importing the template from the cloud.
As mentioned in the instructions:
“After, if you duplicate the template, you can edit it to change the logo, menu, and whatever you want.
When you make the corrections, make sure you are on the page with the language you are editing, and if you use the cache, or object cache, please clear it.”
However, now I want to edit elements such as the logo or images in the header, but I am unable to do so. Could you please guide me on how to make these edits, because i have error: Error at zones: 6(models)?
Hello!
When you try to edit the wrong template, you encounter a problem in Composer. You can switch the language from the language switcher and make the template translation global in the Cloud Templates. So you should have the main template for example Category template main and for the german language for example you should have the translated template version Category template german version. You can translate it from WPML. They should be global in each language, depending on the switcher.
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello,
If you have the mobile template for a page, then you need to disable the tagdiv mobile theme for that page from here -> https://imgur.com/fZGN0pf, and after, make sure that you have assigned the mobile page.
Also, make sure that your cache plugin has the option for mobile cache, for example wp super cache https://imgur.com/W1KaV3U
Thank you!
Hello dear development team,
I use Newsmag (http://www.hundenachrichten.de) and am actually quite happy with the theme. However, I noticed one issue that isn’t optimally resolved: SHOW MODIFIED DATE. Example error: On March 28, I plan a post for April 1. The publication date says: Published on April 1. Modified: March 28. That doesn’t seem right! “Modified” should show April 1, if at all (see ⇾ here). A better solution would be: On the day of publication, “Modified” should show nothing at all (the post hasn’t been modified). It would be great if you could choose when the modification date should be displayed in the theme settings: After 7, 14, 30 days, or Custom. It doesn’t look professional if, for example, you make a small change to a post a day or two later and it’s then displayed. It’s more interesting if you revise/update older articles, and then it’s displayed, thus attracting search engines’ attention to the article again. It would be nice if this bug could be fixed and the suggested option “SHOW MODIFIED DATE after xxx days/Custom” was added.
Best regards from Germany
Stefan
