how to make the logo appear on the google amp carousel cards and how to make the mobile theme home page be amp. On my site these two functions do not happen. Can someone help me?
I would also like to know if the mobile theme works with the AMP for wp plugin, or only with the official AMP?

The 9.6.1 version of the theme coincides with this AMP plugin.

Some of my posts are also appearing in the wrong category on the home page http://www.pacifictrek.com
For example, the post “Three Awesome Day Trips From Darwin, Australia” currently appears under “Travel Guides” on the home page – but that is not one of it’s selected categories in the ‘Document Settings’. Likewise, ‘What It’s Like Flying The Qantas A380 From Dallas To Sydney’ appears under ‘Trip Ideas’ but that is not one of it’s selected categories. Can you please help?
Hi, just wanted to close this one out. I’ve done away with AMPforWP and gone with the native solution in the Newspaper theme. It took a little tweaking but so far it is looking good.
I agree with Gooma2! You have virtually ruined everything I’ve work hard on by doing these silly updates and releases.
AMP update was just silly and I’m sure has annoyed an awful lot of your customers. Just look at this forum for example, it’s riddled with AMP queries!
My google analytics have all been lost too meaning that I can’t show the stats to my paying clients!
All you have done is offer a refund so that I can use a different theme. A refund would not cover the huge amount of work that would be needed to build a new site from scratch!
What are you guys going to do about these issues? Newspaper used to be great, now we’re all getting annoyed! I don’t want to leave!

How to Desactivate the Site Accelerator
In your site’s dashboard, go to Jetpack → Settings→ Performance.
In the Performance & speed section, disable “Enable site accelerator.”
I did enable the plugin. And the experience was terrible. My site was delayed or could not be indexed. Pages with AMP extension – gave 404 error. The flow of my website down drastically. What to do? The plugin does not work? Several pages showed error in Google Console and in Analytics our flow was much less than normal.

I have two problems:
The first one, when I upload an image, other ones appear in different formats automatically.
Example: image-test.jpg (real size: 600×400 px)
But we have also: image-test-324×160.jpg, image-test-356×220.jpg, image-test-485×360.jpg, …
The second one, the images that are loaded in the home page are from the other formats, but not from the original image.

hi mobile pages work partially. I guess it should be all right. I did everything about AMP settings to be according to our documentation. but it does not work, I do not see CATEGORY, first page news, could see last news
You’ve misunderstood. The cloud template (first link) was imported into my site (second link) and doesn’t look anything like 1:1. There’s spacing issues with the byline, as a main example — the comments and views are pushed into two lines. The spacing between elements (categories, category ‘buttons’) is VERY different as well.
I’m not about to set this as a post template for actual use if it’s looking ratchet.

It’s strange because now I can’t even navigate my menu on the mobile theme, yet last time I checked I at least could but my main pages were gray. I think only the blog page works but has the mobile menu, not the demon header menu.
Are there known plugins that don’t go well with AMP? Maybe that’s what’s happening.

Inside of WordPress there is an option in the post body to block quote text. Whenever I use the block quote, the text formatting is all caps, a different color, and not left justified. I am looking for the option to format all of my quoted text with the same text as my regular post body.

I’d like to remove author names & dates from all of my posted content. This is easy on single posts, because there’s a global setting I can turn off. However, in the sidebar and on other pages (category pages, etc) the author name & date is showing up on every post summary.
How do I stop this from happening?
I know that TagDiv newspaper doesnt natively support RSS feed import, but was hoping somebody could give some advice on this.
I want to be able to put an RSS feed in a news block and have it show the featured image, title, author, date and a short excerpt. and then I want the “read more” to point to the rss origin site.
I was using the FeedWordpress plugin and then using Auto Post Thumbnail Image Pro plugin to get a featured image out of the RSS.
for the most part this works, but the FeedWP plugin doesnt give much control as to what is pulled.
although it does pull the article into a category which is essential for TagDiv composer to make a newsblock out of.
But FeedWP doesnt allow for you to set the amount of posts and sometimes it runs wild pulling way too many updates.
I was able to successfully get the featured image and feed to appear and behave using a flexi block.
but since the FeedWP plugin grabs the image as part of the feed the image would show up twice, thus ticking the box to “hide image” in the flexibox worked. but the image from the feed excerpt doesnt resize uniformally since it is embedded from the feed plugin and not a featured image. and the excerpt length or content cannot be controlled using the flexiblock layout settings.
So even thought this combo works, it isnt perfect and customization seems a little janky.
Thus this combo doesnt work for me.
I am now using the plugin called WordPress Automatic, (it’s a fantastic plugin btw, and under $30 which is very worth it as it can pull almost anything from anywhere into your site, feeds, articles, Amazon, Youtube ect.)
but it pulls the full content into the site as a post and not just as a feed, thus making the user click the article from the block, then the article is displayed in the same site, which doesnt help to direct traffic to the origin site.
although you can set a template structure to add links to the source, you cannot automatically trim and automatically have newsblock “read more” point to the origin site easily and automatically.
Has anyone had any success in creating soemthing like this and have it behave well using news blocks?
basically, my question is how do I pull in RSS feeds, display the necc desired content and have it link to the original site?

**also, a note to the developers…Tagdiv is great, easy and robust but not having a native built-in RSS function on a template system that is primarily centered around displaying “News” seems a little disconnected.
and it would be nice if there was some better options for Woocommerce since it is becoming the goto pluign for wordpress ecommerce. There should be better native support and stlying included for product display and newsblocks, styling ect.
