Why not simply deactivate the Tagdiv AMP plugin?
We’ve been using the official Automattic AMP plugin with TagDiv themes since 2016 without issues. So, no reason you can’t use it now. 🙂

Hi,

Now that the wordpress amp plugin is stable and is now officially the main amp plug in for word press, I’d like to see the newspaper theme officially support it, rather than having a separate addon for it, apart from the obvious duplication of work, i keep running into issues where I can’t use your add on for amp pages as various plugins i use don’t support it, whereas they do the offical wordpress version, an example of this is The Seo Framwork amp addon.

New install of newspaper. Cannot figure out how to create a gallery that is anything other than non-clickable in article thumbnails. Same thing with individual images uploaded one at a time.

Hello,
I recently updraded my complete website.

I was in WP 4.9.9 and now 5.0.1
And from Newsletter 8 to 9.2.2
I tested lot of thing and all where OK so I putted all these update this WE in production.
But I noticed one issue on social counter and wanted to check.
As usualy I click on edit with TD composer but this send to a blank page.

I checked and there is no HTML code.

Hi,

Those pages were created with page builder will not be delivered any AMP version. That notice is correct. Notice that only simple pages, created with Tiny MCE editor will deliver AMP version.

1. The schema is coded in the theme files, for example

The structured data can be seen by testing with the Google tool

2. I am not aware of any plans to give the possibility to add more schema in the theme, by a theme option. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Hello,
@all

In most cases of amp errors, the issue was because of the ads you use on the amp plugin settings. Please make sure your ads are amp compatible. Remove the ads and clear all caching and run the test again to make sure.

Hi,

Not all AMP plugins have the same design, we based the design for our plugin on the Yoast SEO website AMP (simple and fast)

I can’t say if in the future this will change, it might happen. There are plans to add many more options and settings for our AMP plugin.

If you require such a design, you could use a different AMP plugin. I can’t make any recommendations however, we did not make tests with any other plugin.

The code should be present in the source, the theme will add the necessary tags and load it for all amp content.

Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login so we can take a look. If possible before doing this, please make a quick test and deactivate all plugins except theme plugins then clear all caching. Let us know if you did this in the email.

Hey,

I changed your page to AMP with your AMP plugin. Unfortunately, no imprint and no privacy is displayed on the page in the footer. I also find no setting on the AMP page to activate.

Your suggestion:

Is activated and does not help.

On the AMP – side an imprint and data protection must be indicated.

Do you see the footer privacy and imprint. That’s the way it has to be, otherwise one can be warned.

Hi,

1)You should provide your website URL so I can take a closer look at your AMP plugin. Please notice that the AMP version of the site does not have any such an option that allows you to have any control over the logo. Should works as expected by default. Provide some useful screenshots of the problem.
2,3)If you want to use a bit of CSS code to change the AMP style page, please edit here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/vIUHFAbD6uRH There’s no option for custom CSS code for AMP version, sorry! There’s no footer template for AMP version, sorry!
4)The menu is not showing in the AMP version, sorry! That’s the default behavior.

About the setting of Custom taxonomies to WPBakery Page builder - reply

Hi,

Our blocks and grids can display custom post types, but they cannot be filtered by taxonomy. This is possible only with default posts and categories.

To display a CPT in a block or grid, enter it’s name in the post type field. For example I have a CPT called td_book which can be displayed like this

Currently the theme is somewhat limited when it comes to CPT versus default posts, hopefully in the future there will be more options added.

Hi,

It would depend on the error you are receiving. Be sure to check the theme requirements guide carefully, top to bottom

The code provided at the bottom fixed composer issues in many cases for example.

Are you editing pages built with the tagDiv composer or pages built in a different way? Editing pages that were not created with it will result in problems.

If this is happening for new pages as well, then there is a problem. Please send us admin login at contact@tagdiv.com so we can take a look. Mention what should we do to recreate the issue on your website. If possible provide cPanel or FTP, may be needed for the investigation.

Hi,

Those do not work, they work for all other socials except whatsapp for some reason. So if you remove the “&” from the post title it works?

The URL meta is present in the page source and the link seems to try and share the title and link from what I can see, but it stops at the “&”

I managed to recreate this on my end however. It is the same in my case. I will add this on our list and it will be investigated. We will try to fix it as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I actually made it work inside the tdb_module_loop.php and the page displays the Source.

I added this function:
