Hi!
I can not update the WPBakery Page Builder since last year. When I try to update it just says “Incorrect license key”. Where do I find the correct key and is there any tutorial to insert it and update to latest version?
Hello,
The 404 and search page works well => https://www.screencast.com/t/07SUuRzL -> https://www.screencast.com/t/OqBEb2V80
Also, for the footer, the problem may be due to a plugin conflict, so please please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again. There may be a conflict between WPBakery and the tagDiv Cloud Library.
Please notice that we strongly recommend using only one of those plugins with our theme (WP Bakery or tagDiv Cloud Library, but not both).
Let me know about your results!
Thank you!
WP 5.7 brings us much improved site building capabilities. I see that some developers are choosing not to use site builders like Bakery and Elementor for example. How does TagDiv see the future with Composer? Is there still a role for TagDiv Composer in the years to come?
I just updated to Newspaper 10.4. Beside the theme I have 45 different plug-ins.
After installation I had to manually purge the cache for WP Super Cache.
Apart from that no issues so far. Here is the change log:

HI,
Please make sure that all theme plugins are enable, for example, tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library and tagDiv Standard Pack, this should fix the problem with the shortcodes from mobile.
Also using the mobile theme plugin, with it you’ll gain a better speed then responsive version of Newsmag theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create new content for pages because in most cases those were made with builders or shortcodes (tagDiv Composer, WPBakery) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on the mobile theme, also the mobile theme will not display any sidebar)
-> https://i.imgur.com/9d0UWLT.png
Also you can show the responsive version for some posts/pages on mobile theme (to get the same layout as on desktop on mobile) -> https://i.imgur.com/m0bVB5T.png you can check more details about mobile theme in our documentation -> https://tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-get-mobile-ready-with-newsmag-theme/ or if you want to have the responsive version only, you can use the amp option from mobile theme -> https://i.imgur.com/oofST3D.png (to use the mobile theme template on amp) or you can disable the plugin.
These options are like this:
Mobile -> the mobile theme will apply only on mobile version.
Mobile + amp -> it will apply on both and it will have the same layout.
Amp -> the mobile theme plugin layout will be use only for amp version.
Hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello!
Please make sure you don’t have WP Bakery plugin active or installed.
The issue can be from a plugin conflict, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hi, since I installed and activated your theme I can no longer manage links with the “WP External Links” plugin.
In “WP External links” plugin I use “nofollow” in all posts links, and this works. But the exclusions for “post ID” don’t work, this function worked correctly with the previous theme (with WPbakery).
Thank you
Hi,
About WPBakery Visual Composer and Revolution Slider plugins, make sure that you have them updated with the new versions from package 4.9.6 then it should work properly.
If you do not know about child theme, most probably you are not using. For more details about child theme you can check our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Thank you!
Hi Calin, thanks for the tips. WPBakery Visual Composer and Revolution Slider plug-ins seemed to be the culprit. However, the images are back on the home page but now other items are missing and seeing text? Any other suggestions? What do you mean by “if you are using a child theme, set the main theme”? Can you send me images or describe how to do this? Thanks, g
Hello,
The Single Post Template refers to the layout used by the posts, but the content on the posts are made in Gutenberg editor by WordPress.
“Please do not use both the tagDiv Composer and other page builders such as the WordPress editor or WPBakery page builder simultaneously on the same page.
Please do not edit a page originally created with WPBakery or other page builders.”
The above paragraph referring to pages, not posts.
If this is not what you mean, please let me know!
Thank you!
With the single post template, Magazine pro for example, and probably the other single post templates, why can’t I edit the images in the tagdiv composer? It seems these edits are to be done in the standard wordpress editor is that correct?
This contridicts the info under tagdiv composer tutorial
“Please do not use both the tagDiv Composer and other page builders such as the WordPress editor or WPBakery page builder simultaneously on the same page.
Please do not edit a page originally created with WPBakery or other page builders.”
Am I missing something here, and that for the single post template, without any other elements added, you in fact do the edits in the wordpress editor?

Hello!
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict(check also if you have WP Bakery and uninstall it), that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache(also from your browser) and try again.

Thank you!
Bettina thanks for the answer. As I said earlier, at your suggestion I am migrating from WP Bakery to TagDiv Composer precisely to avoid new conflicts.
Before sending the message, I had already done the test to re-upload the image and confirm it’s size and still has this blur effect. The image I’m using is from a newspaper demo that I installed.
The image problem remains unsolved as it happens to anyone I test. Could you help me please?
Hello!
Do not use both page builders on the same time.
For the moment, the only solution is to shift from WPBakery to Composer.
So, I gladly recommend you to shift from WPBakery to Composer, because WPBakery is an old builder plugin.
Please check our guide to know how to shift from WPBakery to Composer: https://forum.tagdiv.com/visual-composer-tagdiv-composer-transition/
1. TagDiv Composer contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
2. Unfortunately, you need to rebuild the design when you do the transition presented above.
3. Yes, you can use it with TagDiv Composer only.
Thank you!

Please first verify this element with TagDiv Composer plugin and check if the article image size is correct or not, then set it correctly.
If the article image size is correct and also you didn’t solved the issue, then you can upload again the images in full size and set it again.
Yes, you can. If you use for example Video Embed element edited with TagDiv Composer, then you can turn off Autoplay setting which means the video won’t run automatically with the page only if you press the button play. Also, you can check our guides here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/video-playlist-2/
https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
Please note that you need to set up the API key like this: https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Can you get same functions with WP Bakery as with TagDiv Composer? If not which functions are only available with TagDiv Composer?
2. If we have an old Newspaper Theme website built only with WP Bakery and we update it to a newer design such as the Demo featured here https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_pro/, will everything carry over and work? Or will we have to completely rebuild from ground up? Basically adding old WP Bakery with New TagDiv Elements?
3. Does the AJAX Login System require you to use the TagDiv Composer? Or can it be used with WP Bakery?
Hello good afternoon,
I need help with some newspaper issues. Originally my website was built using WP Bakery that I have more knowledge of, but it is causing some conflicts with sidebar and at your suggestion I will disable it. For that I need to rebuild my homepage as said in documentation.
When adding a bg image in a line, it has a blur effect that I can’t remove. Can you tell me how I do it?
Another thing that is giving me trouble is the option of youtube videos available on tagdiv. Is there only this list option? I would like to import individual videos as in the attached example.
thanks

How can I reactivate this plugin? Is outdated and require activation 🙁
Thanks
Hi, @marcorroma!
In fact, what I did was convert to .woff2 and then back to .woff
Sorry for the imprecise directions I sent.. but I am sure that I did not just renamed the file extension; here is a screenshot of the files generated in the process: https://paste.pics/BSBAW
And WOW! The difference is huge in the two sites you showed… although I never used WPBakery (and could not known the “customizability options” mentioned by Vlad). It seems that a lot of work has to be done in Newspaper.
Hello !
Please await for the new improvements that this update will bring in order to have a point to start the new improvements. Also in my personal opinion it is hard to compare TagDiv Composer with WP Bakery taking in consideration the customizability options that TagDiv offers.
Thank you for your patience !
Hi jornalosaopaulo.
Thanks for your advice, I will.
But are you sure you haven’t saved the file in woff2 format and renamed it to woff?
The icons in svg are an optimal solution to not load a font unnecessarily and not to have that small change on the rendering. At least those on mobile, where the connection is slower.
Yes, optimizing this theme should work much better on some. There are themes and page builders that are much more optimized for page loading, they should adapt too so as not to lose customers.
I am still using WP Bakery on some sites, though despite having its backend issues, it is much lighter. On two very similar sites I have WPbakery and Newspapers.
The optimized html homepage of WPbakery is heavy about 45kb (with logo in svg) and with a 110kb total .js file without advertising (there are about 40 active plugins) and 198kb with AdSense, in a test site with Newspaper theme I have 163kb of page html and 2.3MB of .js files without AdSense (there are about 10 active plugins).

Screenshot Newspaper:
https://i.ibb.co/RB4qXCr/Schermata-2021-03-04-alle-20-18-14.png
How come you don’t work on this?
Hello,
I saw you have a Pro Prebuilt Website and we strongly recommend using only tagDiv Cloud Library with our theme (WP Bakery sometimes it can cause problems).
Also, I am not sure I fully understand what you are looking to edit, I don’t see the section highlighted in red => https://prnt.sc/10cyu8m
Thank you!
