Sorry, I have checked that the local time is correct several times and flushed the cache but everyday the posts stop showing up around 6:00 (00:00 hours UTC time) when selecting “Random Posts Today”. By the way, I am referring to the widget blocks of the sidebar.

Thanks for sending me the above code, I have modified it to how I need.
The only other changes that I need to make are in this screenshot:

As you can see, I want to change these two things:

1) RED ARROWS: I need the block titles to float all the way to the margin left as I have done with “review title” (this was done on Photoshop).

2) BLUE ARROWS: I want to change the actual FONT of everything in blue. At the moment they are set to OPEN SANS. Where can I change this so I can choose a different font?

1. Nu cred că m-am exprimat corect. Nu doresc să elimin acele widget-uri, ci doresc să le fac să apară unul lângă celălalt sau măcar să le dau aceeași dimensiune, deoarece cel Google este mult prea mare
2. Am introdus codul acela și acum arată OK bannerul respectiv. Totuși, nu mai pot fi accesate butoanele stânga/dreapta din partea dreaptă a lui. De asemenea, precizez că am următorul cod în css http://www.screencast.com/t/4qKcSbVOF1U , iar în Temă>Parts>Header>Style 2 am <div class="td-container test">

</div>, container-ul „test” fiind adăugat la indicațiile unuia dintre colegii tăi, deoarece, fără el, tickerul nu era afișat corect. Se mai pot face optimizări?
3. Dacă e foarte complica, nu mă interesează deoarece nu este ceva într-atât de important. Știu că în trecut primisem un cod cu loop de la unul dintre colegi și îmi afișa reclama după x articole, însă odată cu Newspaper 6 acesta nu doar că nu a mai funcționat, ba chiar a provocat și unele probleme. Eventual, dacă mai primiți soliciătri și din partea altora, treceți pe lista de funcții noi pentru că n-ar fi rău să existe opțiunea de a adăuga reclame în categorii/etichete din setările temei
4. Am urmat pașii, însă nu mai îmi apare conținutul pe acest stil > apare totul până la breadcrumb. Menționez că am făcut modificările așa cum ai precizat, atât în loop 1, cât și în td_module_single_base.php, unde am copiat codul de pe pastebin. Luați vă rog în calcul, pe viitor, îmbunătățirea stilului 1 (să nu mai afișeze atât reclama article top, cât și cea dedicată stilului, să afișeze reclama dedicată stilului deasupra conținutului, iar imaginea în stânga sau viceversa).

I done this at first. But after this, if i change only the limit, then i must have, my tinking if the post reach the limit. Also if we put the limit lets say at “5000” then it will create 5000/3=1666 lines, from which will fill only the number from posts which are at this time (now) attached at this category, lets say 10. So the result will be a very big page displaying only 10 posts.

So with my indervation i have the limit at the number of posts the category “mens lifestyle” has. So if i have 30 posts in category “mens lifestyle”, then the page will create only 30/3=10 lines and will display the page in the right height to display only the 30 posts from category “mens lifestyle”.

So the dificulty for me now is if i have multiple pages, for diferent category every page, in someway to can have the category id, and after this to have the limmit at the number of posts which are asigned at this category.

As the big grid 5 is a class, i assume that every page which have inside a big grid 5, will have an object of this big grid 5 class. And as the big grid 5, have at settings the category filtering, then that object will have in its attributes the category id.

So can you help be how to retrieve this id, in this file wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_big_grid_5.php (which i assume that is the class for the big grid 5 object)?

i want some pages to have one big grid 5, which will saw all the posts from one category in one big grid 5 (all posts in lines with three posts at every lne, like big grid 5).

2. The Big Grid blocks have a limit for posts in the code so you can change it there. Lets take your example Big Grid 5, here you can change the limit – http://screencast.com/t/XmOZHeiWG8F and the result – http://screencast.com/t/EX7UYmjZbK Please note that the Big Grids were designed to handle only a specific number of articles and for some of them you may need additional customizations(big grid 5 seems to work fine even you set it to display more posts). So if you have also basic html/css experience should not be an issue.

I modfied a little the file wp-content/themes/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_big_grid_5.php

But there is a need to make more pages like this. In the one for category “Men’s Lifestyle” is working perfect.

But if i have at the menu three menus “a,”b and c” (which are coming from three diferent pages), and in every page i have a big grid 5 which in settings have at category filter, at page “a” the category “a”, at page “b” the category “b” and at page “c” the category “c”, there is no way to change the code and some how to take the category which we have set at settings in the big grid 5?

so in this code:

the :”men-s-lifestyle” to come from code, or to change it at $postsInCat = get_term_by('id',20,'category');"

and the number (id) 20 to can take it with code before.?

For the headings, this is perfect. How can I float the titles so they align left? I will be making the review block title transparent.

Also, I would like to know how to change the actual font typeface. I can’t find this option in the panel?

You can use one of theme’s ad-spots to display the ad. First insert the html ad’s code in one of custom ad-spots from theme panel > ads then use do_shortcode() function to display a banner ad on top of the page. Just edit the file corresponding with the header style used and add this code like here: http://screencast.com/t/itasx4W4T – http://screencast.com/t/FSgnXBREg3

I’ve used custom ad 1 for this example but you can use any custom ad, just adapt the shortcode. For example if you use custom ad 5 the shortcode will be: td_block_ad_box spot_id="custom_ad_5"
