Hello Sprite_zaa,

Please check the link below. Here, you should find the simplest way to achieve displaying the pages into blocks.
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/use-pages-in-big-grid-3/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!

You could try
a) re-save permalinks to clear permalink transient settings
b) clear any caching plugin, reset/refresh any CDN setting
c) in theme panel, resave the choice for default category template(s)

Sometimes the simplest things work — might not in your case, but this often fixes bizarro gremlins after WP update!

Not working, How to solve this problem?

Hi,

sadly that option didn’t work as intended either. The images for Block 4 was too small and the images for block 7 was too big (overlapping).

I tried another solution from the forum: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/thumbnails-square-featured-image-is-not/

I’ve added this to td_config.php:

        td_api_thumb::add('sb_324x324',
            array(
                'name' => 'sb_324x324',
                'width' => 324,
                'height' => 324,
                'crop' => array('center', 'top'),
                'post_format_icon_size' => 'normal',
                'used_on' => array(
                    'Module 1, 2', 'Block 2, 3, 4, Big grid 2'
                )
            )
        );

        td_api_thumb::add('sb_100x100',
            array(
                'name' => 'sb_100x100',
                'width' => 100,
                'height' => 100,
                'crop' => array('center', 'top'),
                'post_format_icon_size' => 'small',
                'used_on' => array(
                    'Module 6, 7', 'Block 1, 2, 7, 8, 16'
                )
            )
        );

Then changed td_module_2.php:

<?php echo $this->get_image('sb_324x324');?>

This gives me the sizes I want for my thumbs. But the text is still positioned as it’s the old sized thumbnails. Do I need to add some css to push the text down?

Thanks

Hello,
Unfortunately woocommerce products do not work in the mega-menu. This involves adding custom post type support to our modules and blocks. Maybe in a future update we will be able to implement it. If you really need this option you will need to hire a freelancer to help out with this task as we have no easy solution for it. you can hire a freelancer from sites like studio.envato.com.
Thank you!

Hello,
I think the problem originates from somewhere else.
I tried your css and it works: http://screencast.com/t/jRzNwVUlN9G
On your website it seems the selectors are more powerful so you need to adjust the code a bit and use the !important attribute.
Use it in your code like so:

.td-post-content blockquote {
background-color: #FCFCFC!important;
border-left: 2px solid #8CBF26!important;
padding: 15px 23px 0 23px!important;
position: relative!important;
top: 6px!important;
clear: both!important;
margin: 0 0 29px 0!important;
}
.td-post-content blockquote p {
color: #8CBF26!important;
font-size: 13px!important;
line-height: 21px!important;
padding-bottom: 16px!important;
margin: 0!important;
text-transform: none!important;
}

Add the important to your other code as well and it should work as expected.
Thank you!

Hi there,

Hi,

I have been using the following css to change the size of blockquotes:

.td-post-content blockquote {
background-color: #FCFCFC;
border-left: 2px solid #8CBF26;
padding: 15px 23px 0 23px;
position: relative;
top: 6px;
clear: both;
margin: 0 0 29px 0;
}
.td-post-content blockquote p {
color: #8CBF26;
font-size: 13px;
line-height: 21px;
padding-bottom: 16px;
margin: 0;
text-transform: none;
}

There is supposed to be a blue horizontal line to the left of the blockquote.

And this for WooCommerce:

.woocommerce ul.products li.product h3 {
text-align: center;
}
.woocommerce ul.products li.product .price {
text-align: center;
}
.woocommerce ul.products li.product .button {
margin-left: auto;
margin-right: auto;
display: table;
}
.woocommerce .products .star-rating {
margin: 0.5em auto 0 auto;
}

The 3 products used to be larger and centered.

The blockquote can be seen at this link https://godhelpusall.com/climate-eat-it-too

Shop page here: https://godhelpusall.com/shop/

Since updating to WordPress 4.4 this css code no longer seems to work.

Hope you can help.

Thank you

Kevin

Hello,
The easiest way to achieve this is to make all links on your homepage not clickable (except for the menu)
You can use this custom css for it:

.home .td_block_wrap{
pointer-events:none;
}

Add the code in the theme panel->custom css box
Thanks.

Hello suipowers,

Please try the code below and place it in Custom Css area, like this: http://screencast.com/t/QSomZN6xkp

.td-pb-span4 .td_module_1 .td-post-date {
display:none;
}
.td_module_1.td_module_wrap{
padding-bottom:0;
}

The result you should see here: http://screencast.com/t/V3mazwMmmoLM

If you want to hide the date, everywhere appears block 3, you can use the same above code, without .td-pb-span4 http://screencast.com/t/lNdCXi1yW

If is not what you mean, please provide more details about this.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you!

I’ll give it a go 🙂

Do you have a list of all the blocks and their corresponding modules?

Thanks 🙂

Hello,
You cannot ‘turn’ categories into pages but you can create pages in visual composer and then redirect your category links to the pages. You can use a 301 redirect plugin to get it done. Then you can simply create a page and just filter the desired category on all blocks.
I hope this helps.
Thank you!

Hello,
You can use the above method to force the blocks/modules you want to display the wordpress square thumbnail as i showed above.
Block 4 uses module 2
Block 7 uses module 6
The related articles uses the module you assign it to display from here: http://screencast.com/t/DoBqScVl263
And the live search uses module mx2
You can find all these files here: http://screencast.com/t/ciBgQqMJiGE6
You can use the methods above to edit these files and modify the thumbnails to get them square. If you cannot manage on your own you can hire a freelancer to help out on this task from sites like studio.envato.com as we cannot offer any custom work at the moment.
Thank you for your understanding.

Hello tt5,

The theme ad system was designed to work with adsense code and custom image+link banner ads, other codes may not be displayed. Also, you can use Visual Composer to place your Ads in your website if you are using Text Block, like this: http://screencast.com/t/cGZ2h8dVy .
You could try to use a plugin and see if it works and paste the shortcode in theme ad spots, many users use AdRotate plugin.

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you for the message!

Hello hcassin,

I’ve checked your site again and all works fine everywhere js/ajax functions are working. The pagination works well for all your blocks where you have content. Please provide more details about your problem so I can be able to provide a more accurate response.

Thank you for the message!

Hi,

Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and purge your files if you use CDN, then check if you still have this issue. Also it could be a host issue, it may block the access to the admin-ajax.php file, please check the browser console for errors while the “save settings” process it running. If this is the case you have to contact the host administrator and inform him about this.

Thanks!

Hi, I want to remove data on block 3, but I can’t find, please help me, thank you very much!

Hello,
Since version 6.6 of the theme, the option to chose the articles to display in a block was implemented. You simply have to get the post id’s like so: http://screencast.com/t/yBsssHs1 and then you need to use these id’s in the block settings : http://screencast.com/t/Xc01ypUk
If you do not have version 6.6 of the theme you will need to update by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/
Thank you.

I deleted all of the “loop” files from FTP and re-uploaded new ones from the re-downloaded theme. Nothing…

The liip.php file that I’ve got:
<?php
/**
* If you are looking for the loop that's handling the single post page (single.php), check out loop-single.php
**/

// $global_flag_to_hide_no_post_to_display - comes from page-category-big-grid.php and is a flag to hide the 'No posts to display' message if on category page there are between 1 and 5 posts
global $loop_module_id, $loop_sidebar_position, $global_flag_to_hide_no_post_to_display;

///if we are in wordpress loop; used by quotes in blocks to check if the blocks are displayed in blocks or in loop
td_global::$is_wordpress_loop = true;

$td_template_layout = new td_template_layout($loop_sidebar_position);

if (empty($loop_module_id)) { //not sure if we need a default here
$loop_module_id = 1;
}

$td_module_class = td_api_module::_helper_get_module_class_from_loop_id($loop_module_id);

//disable the grid for some of the modules
$td_module_api = td_api_module::get_by_id($td_module_class);
if ($td_module_api['uses_columns'] === false) {
$td_template_layout->disable_output();
}

if (have_posts()) {
while ( have_posts() ) : the_post();
echo $td_template_layout->layout_open_element();

if (class_exists($td_module_class)) {
$td_mod = new $td_module_class($post);
echo $td_mod->render();
} else {
td_util::error(__FILE__, 'Missing module: ' . $td_module_class);
}

echo $td_template_layout->layout_close_element();
$td_template_layout->layout_next();
endwhile; //end loop
echo $td_template_layout->close_all_tags();

} else {
/**
* no posts to display. This function generates the __td('No posts to display').
* the text can be overwritten by the themplate using the global @see td_global::$custom_no_posts_message
*/

echo td_page_generator::no_posts();
}

1. Okay on the GTMetrix, you will see a Minify CSS. click on “see optimized…”. You will copy it and then go to your Editor, select or clear the style.css, then paste the minified css.

2. Search for EWWW image optimizer plugin, install it and “Bulk optimize” all your images.

3. Then search for Regenerate Thumbnails Plugin. You should Regenerate your thumbnails that way they will fit in your blocks.

4. Download WP Super cache and set it up, use mod_rewrite, it is the fastest.

5. You should get Cloudflare, and set it up as well then click on minify css and javascript but not html because WP Super Cache handles that for you.

All these should reduce your page size and increase your pagespeed.

All these settings I gave you made me score 90+ on desktop and 70+ on mobile before i added the Ads 😉

Factwide is my website, you can test its pagespeed to verify my claims.

Thank you!
Are you going to create such functionality for blocks in one page? It will be very good option for site to show post in unique block, filtered by primary category.
