Dear support team,
I am trying to add a live radio button to the topbar of the site, using tagdiv composer. When I add it to a page, using HTML feature – it works. When I try to add it to the topbar, even if I add a HTML block where I add the code – the button does not appear, just the HTML code I inserted.

i would like some of the contents of the webpage will be visibile at given time … but i understand for you maybe is difficoult to acknowledge, but i think will be a nice addon to your theme.
i mean… in my homepage every sunday at 10:00 i will active a revolutionslider with a content of a video on youtube.
i would like to turn on and off the feature, so i can work on it the day before and then just turn it on at 10:00 of sunday (if it not possible to publish at given time)
i found an on off button on the block (on every block) in tagdivcomposer but it does nothing…
can you help me doing this?

I’ve just installed the newsmag theme and used one of the prebuilt sites to get started (clear voice).
On the homepage there is a ‘Must read’, ‘hot this week’ and ‘past stories’ section. How do I edit these? Also how do I change the colour of the little underline (currently yellow).

I’am using the Siteground Hosting which comes with some plugins to improve security and speed of the website.
Here are some of the problems I’m facing with Newspaper and Siteground plugins:
SiteGround Security – Site Security Plugin – If i activate the option “Lock and Protect System Folders” for example the WP editor from the tagdiv blocks stops working. It stays on a eternal loading loop when I try to open it.

The theme use the shortcode [td_block_authors] for the block authors. I want to customize it and I don’t know where is this template.
What I want to customize is as follows.
– I want to display the role/roles of a user
– I would like each author in the list to come up with their last posted article.
– how to integrate a custom widget or if a custom template can be created and used with this builder (tagDiv composer). This Author Blocks Template I would like to make it custom to look exactly like the picture.
Related to the other template (Author Template)
– how can I change the way the authors are displayed? I mean to make it on a grid of 2 columns for example.
– On the author page (where his posts appear) how can I add the role?
I would like you to help me with these questions because it is a very important project to be completed.

Please make sure you have the latest version of the theme, 11.5.1
Please check if this code is missing from your .htaccess: https://www.screencast.com/t/iN0R93dD3p from our requirements https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ this requirement is not displayed in System Status.
Usually, after you set the code in .htaccess the WP editor works well.
Please do a test using only tagDiv plugins and try to open the WP Editor.
Please check the console if you have any errors when you try to open the wp editor, maybe is possible to be from the firewall or security module which blocks the admin-ajax.php request, which usually displays a 403 or 404 error.
If you don’t use a security plugin, please ask your host about this, maybe you have a security module that blocks this.
If you use a plugin like Wordfence please set it in learning mode.
Also, if you are using Cloudflare, please make sure that is set as in our guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/, you need to disable the Rocket Loader.

Unfortunately large database are not quite easy to handle, because the request most of the time need to check all the data from the database.
Related to the blocks and settings from the theme, I see on the website that you achieve right settings (even on the live search element).
Maybe you can use a cache on database, this can help a little.

If those posts need to set a longer period of time in a place, then you can use the filters from the flocks for this. In dis way you can filter the posts after categories, tags, taxonomies, also you can set manually the posts ids in the order you want to be displayed.

For the moment we recommended only setting the posts order using the ids or using the date/modified date (those are tested and are working with our theme).

This can be done only if the images from the blocks are not set as background.
Now all the flex blocks use the background image.

We are using a plugin to regularly clean and optimize the database, was one of the first items we implemented.
I just didn’t understand about the ajax pagination. We are using it just in one place: one block on the archive pages so people can see older posts. Everywhere else there is no pagination (and we actually remove it from the query, like I said on the first topic, to have lesser calls to the database).
Is there anything else you guys can recommend us doing?

What I can recommend is to use the tagDiv Composer and edit the homepage -> https://i.imgur.com/bqzqOMJ.jpg, then select on the flex block the thumb that you want to use -> https://i.imgur.com/4O4YBur.png
Also, for the featured image inside the article there are 2 elements that can be used. The background and normal featured image -> https://i.imgur.com/fxRxN3Q.png -> https://i.imgur.com/6re2KEg.png then choose the thumb size -> https://i.imgur.com/IZ3FDDu.png
After this the next step is to check the selected thumbs to be enabled in the theme panel> in thumbs section -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/ once that you sure that those are enabled you need to regenerate the existent images in the file media -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
