Please, how can I view the recent or popular posts from current category or sub-category in the sidebar?
For example, suppose I’m in an article in the Sports category, only the last or popular posts in the Sports category will appear in the sidebar. I use the widget Block 7.
If the Newsmag theme does not provide this function, please in which file should I enter the code? In the includes/wp_booster/sidebar.php? Please do you have this code or a guide about it? In my old theme I manually entered a code in the sidebar.php file to display the recent posts in the current category.
I do not want to use a plugin to not weigh down the site.

About the Gadgets theme, the images on the upper block, which is right below the main menu, are getting faded by some color. Is there a way to remove that feature so that the true images can be shown?
Also, the very top image on individual post are too wide and information such as author name, title, number of views are getting printed on it. Is there a way to make the image smaller and have the related information printed above exactly the way it looks for the Lifestyle Magazine’s individual posts?

I am using the post ID filter for excluding them in a tagDiv block 7 where I display a couple of posts sort by “Popular (side wide) – jetpack…”. But the filter is ineffective. The posts are still displayed.
Is there a known bug?

I have recently bought the newspaper theme and it is not doing any good. The mobile speed of my website is slower than before.
The mobile speed, as well as desktop speed, is very slow.
5.1s FCP7.7s DCL
It also shows that “PSI estimates this page requires 1 additional round trips to load render blocking resources and 2.4 MB to fully render. The median page requires 4 round trips and 2.7 MB. Fewer round trips and bytes results in faster pages.”
How to remove the additional round trip and improve page speed?

1. The big grid full 4 already comes with the gaps included. You do not have to do anything besides add it to your site in the tagdiv composer.
The demo you ahve installed has a custom design implemented for the big grid in question. That is why your sis different. Each demo has it’s own style for a few elements.
2. This is the reason why in the excerpts section you will have a title length: https://www.screencast.com/t/9Wt6i4jAVguT
This way you can use titles as long as you like, but still have them on a single line in blocks.

Sorry but our theme blocks do not work with custom taxonomies. Blocks can show custom posts but they cannot be filtered by their custom taxonomies unfortunately.
For the moment there is no plan for implementing such a feature. We have this on our list for future updates but a decision in this regards was not taken yet.

As for the category tag in the url, the theme cannot remove it. You can do it with the SEO Yoast plugin though.

Is it possible to have the option to filter the content in a block using custom taxonomies instead of just regular categories?
If it’s not possible, do you plan to add this in the future? Or maybe can point me to the relevant files that take care of this functionality so that I can extend it myself, if the functions are pluggable.

Please, I need to get this fixed regarding the WP Bakery plugin regarding theme update.

I have a column of 3, each column contains block 14 and a custom ad on top. the first ad is spaced correctly, but the other two are touching the blocks on mobile and i would like to fix that.

Unfortunately, notice that our theme does not have any such an option that allows you to add the tags to blocks, sorry! You should implement it yourself through the code.
