I’ve checked your video and I saw that you have a problem with pagination. Please take a look on your console and check it if you have some error. This problem may be caused by an conflicting plugins. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all your caches, purge the CDN files if you use and install only the plugins tha come bundle with our theme and try again.

OK, I deactivated them all and it seems it’s the W3 Total Cache plugin that causes the trouble. Wonder why? Has been working for months. Any suggestions for a better cache plugin that would not cause these problems?

Thank you for your response with this. I imported these posts from our current live website using a different WordPress theme. The youtube videos on all of these posts work fine. However, when I copy and paste the youtube link into the featured video widget in the admin tool, the videos do not show up. I did try disabling all of the plugins and clearing the cache per your recommendation but with no success.
Part of why I chose this theme was because of the featured video functionality and the ability for it to create automatic thumbnails based on the video link. I really want to keep this theme but in the last theme we had to create screen captures of the video, upload them to media and make them the featured image. These added steps take up way too much time and wish we could get this to work.

For a cache plugin we recommend WP Super Cache. It’s free of charge.
As for css and js , you can use the tagdiv speedbooster plugin. Just install it from the plugins area->add new and select it from the plugins folder that comes with the theme. The speedbooster app has a plugin compatibility list and if it finds plugins that are not on that particular list it will shut down. My facebook likes number didnt update for some days now. So i tried removing the ‘td_social_api_v3_last_val’ from database to make sure i force refresh the value. After removing this row from db i visited a page and then i looked in database again. That row came back, it cached twitter value ok, but 0 for facebook :/

I have checked your website and everything seems to be in order(apart from a few images in the big grid. try to upload bigger images or use the thumbnail upscale plugin together with force regenerate). I have not found any errors or content shifting. Maybe you fixed it in the meantime? It could be a plugin conflict. If the problem reappears please try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache and purge cdn files if you use it.

I have checked this using the post template 8 and did not found any issues with the featured image. Please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue on template 8, as I have checked your site and you have a js error in the console that may affect it, also it could affect the accordion element.

So this happens only on post where you use that plugin Easy Smooth Scroll Links unfortunately we did not tested this with the theme so I cannot provide any suggestions.
Also please disable all your plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have issues. If the issue persist please provide you site url so we can inspect this.

Did you try other videos as well? Please make sure the video you are trying to embed is not removed from youtube or you can access it on youtube as well. Please try embedding other videos as i cannot recreate this issue on my end. You can also try to disable all your plugins except visual composer, clear your cache ant try the video again to rule out plugin conflicts.
I see the embed code is different on your end. How are you embedding videos? You can simply copy the video url from youtube and paste it in the post content using the editor.

Unfortunately, I think that your website URL is wrong. I cannot access it and also I cannot inspect it. I have figured out that it does that for all posts without images. But this client does not use images so not sure what I am going to do.
It’s by default like this and does this on other installs as well. I am from today on 4 sites with Newspaper theme and another 2 coming this week and I suspect they will all have this problem.
REF setup
– clean WordPress install
– clean Newspaper theme install
– NO CDN network
– Cache cleared, completely cleared and tested on multiple browser.
– all plugins off (accept visual composer) no change
– FRESH new clean isntall of Newspaper Theme, no luck.
SO I am back to square 1 but will make do with the module/block that does not cause problems. It’s only BLOCK 21 with the error.

Please make sure that you’re using the folder downloaded from themeforest to update the theme, here it’ the update guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ Also deactivate all plugins clear all caches, switch to a default WP theme and test again. You can also try by doing a fresh install of WordPress, then try to install the theme and check if the problem persist.
Please try to disable all the active plugins except Visual Composer and try again. This could be from a plugin conflict.

I’m not sure why you are getting this error but you can try a few things to see if it works.
Please deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear your cache (very important. clearing cache fixed this sort of issue for other users) and purge cdn files if you use it.
If the problem is still there you can check theme panel and reset the thumbnail setting. Disable thumbnails and enable them again from the theme panel.
You can also check your system status to see if all parameters are set according to this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
If all else fails, you can try to do a clean install of the theme. The best way to do it is via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/

Note: you need to install cache plugin, it’s very important because your servers doesn’t working like a charm. Or optimize your server response times.
Tag div recommends we cache. It’s a free solution. I recommend you wp rocket, has a cost but it’s a magazine cache plugin and includes options like send files to footer.

Reduce server response time
You can check waterfall/timeline and see how your server is responding slowly. I check your source code and i cant find eneabled some cache plugin, Do you installed?
Only your server its making 4 seconds initial waiting time to start loading site resources. This cloud be dropped to 0.2 seconds if you activate Wp-cache or Zen Cache (free plugins)

-On newspaper theme panel go to blocks and select what blocks will you use in your site design.
-Go to plugins and install force and regenerate thumbnails. Activate plugin and run it. (may can take a while, depending your images quantity ).
-Before finish you have now all your images cropped correctly.
-install some cache plugin like wp cache, config an run it.
-Install and activate Tagdiv booster and.
Now your site it’s fast like a bullet.

Hi there,
1.After checking my site yesterday and everything working fine, today all images were gone.
I read the post about deactivating lazy load. I did and the images in the posts show again.
However, what doesn’t show are the featured images inside the post, even though the images show up in the editor and in the blocks on other pages.
Also, why were the pictures loading fine with lazy load for the past 6 months and now all of a sudden they stop working with it?
2. The td-ss-row function for rows does not work. I checked on several pages that have this in the extra class name and yet the row is not sticky.

I have updated the theme (6.6.1), VC (4.7) and emptied cache.
