Hi

I’ve test this on my side with V2.2 of Newsmag theme and works fine: http://screencast.com/t/kRfHWSDX5 Please make sure that you’re using the latest theme’s version available on themeforest, also clear all caches, deactivate the plugins except Visual Composer and test again.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

Hi,

Not sure what cause this, but I also see that you don’t have menus like Chris stated above. The theme is tested with Seo by Yoast plugin and should not be any issues with titles. Also I have checked the page source of one of your posts and the title meta is ok, without Close text – http://screencast.com/t/JpOG8HmEb
So I guess google is changing your title or your page is not indexed. You could try to disable your plugins except of Visual Composer and Seo by Yoast, clear cache and wait a while for google to re-index your page.
Also it could be an issue using special character(like in your case @) in seo title, unfortunately we did not tested this and you can open a ticket to the plugin support and ask them if it possible to use @.

Thanks!

Also I’ve found lots of errors in browser’s console, when I inspect your post. This may affect the block’s functionality, so please try to deactivate all plugins, except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.

Hi alexjuniorkev,

The lazy loading animations cloud be the cause of this by not working properly giving the image opacity: 0; therefore not showing them, so disabling this theme feature should not affect the images at all. I have also tested your site several times, on chrome at first, with an without clearing browser’s cache and didn’t noticed any issues, on firefox and IE had the same expected result.

Keep tracking this behavior and see if you can find a way to recreate this and if you manage let us know, provide all necessary details and give us wp-access so we can have a closer look and recreate this. Please address us via email at contact@tagdiv.com including a link to this conversation. Also, if you notice this again check your browser’s console for any js errors: http://screencast.com/t/OxV8odLglqN I’ve found now two concerning ads but there should appear other if when this occurs.

Please let us know!

Thanks fir the message!

Hi,

Please disable all the plugins except of Visual Composer, clear cache and check if you still have this issue. If the issue persist, try to disable lazy load feature as the script could be in conflict with a plugin you use.
Also please provide your site url so we can take a look.

Thanks!

Hi,

do the majority of your users log in ? Or the site is read only for the majority of the users. If the majority of your users do not have to log in (like it’s here on the forum) then you can get very good results with full page caching + cloudflare.

Hi
this may seem dumb; but add the thumbnail upscale plugin, the regenerate thumbnails plugin; run the regenerate thumbnails plugin; then rebuild your slider with new images so that the larger versions are used/cached vs the original smaller ones.

I had this happen once and drove me up the wall – then went, duh. Rebuilding the slider AFTER I had the larger image versions on server worked.

Might not help or be your issue, but worth a try.

We use Google fonts and have a 100 UX score with Google and 97 page speed. Of course, we moved the CSS loading to the style.css file.

Having a single large CSS file is preferable to 10 CSS files like many themes use as it’s cached and compressed as one item by server/browser and not reloaded over and over.

One of the top 3 selling themes on ThemeForest has 10 CSS files loaded per page! TagDiv does not. Footprint on complex themes is average 550kb for CS/Java these days.

A theme I used yesterday to setup a nonprofit website has 7 CSS files, 6 JS files, etc. — I’m having to manually combine those to optimize.

TagDiv closed weekends, as noted top of page.

I answered a bunch of threads, but I don’t work here. 🙂

Sorry to editorialize here, just some feedback on that issue.

Images show up on the home page and in the editor, but do not show up in the live blog post. The image is there, I can see the link when I mouse over them, but it displays as white.

I have a;ready gone through the plugins one by one to try and find the problem but nothing has changed. I have also cleared the cache several times.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Please make sure you update the Visual Composer plugin to the latest version provided with the theme. What theme version do you use. It should not be any issue if you use the latest version. I’m not sure why you have this issue, only on your computer, please clear cache and also the browser cache. If the issue persist check the error.log file and also you console for errors.

Thanks!

Hi

Thanks @Chris S and @doucare1971 for your answers!

@james82104
the theme use the WordPress registration system, so I don’t think this issue is related with the theme. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches and test again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hi,

@FrozenGod
Do you use Wigetised Sidebar block for your homepage, but it doesn’t change it? – http://screencast.com/t/W5xkPKmRjp
Also for post pages, if you use a custom sidebar for category template, the post will inherit that sidebar – http://screencast.com/t/koUf5vkxK
Please check this like Christopher suggested, without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue.
If the issue persist please send an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin access so we can take a look, also paste a link to this topic so we can know who you are and what your issue is.

Thanks!

Hi,

You must have post views enabled from Theme Panel > Post Settings – http://screencast.com/t/8OuCAPd2aja then you can test it by editing a post and take a look at custom fields: http://screencast.com/t/mSiJvu61tGj then refresh the post a few times and check if it increments. If those values are changed when the post is viewed then popular sort should work properly and the post should appear to your block.
Please check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue. Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!

Hello,

Try to clear all caches, deactivate all plugins, leave just Visual Composer active and test again, also verify the console for any errors while saving the settings on the Theme Panel, usually it displays a 403 or 404 error.
If the problem persist try to check system status: http://screencast.com/t/3Nv4Hrv6

Increase max_execution_time at least at 300 and the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000. Those values are set in php.ini file so try to access it but note that some hosts may restrict the access at this file, if you don’t have access to it contact your host provider and let him know about this situation.
The WP_MEMORY_LIMIT from default-constants.php file it’s overwritten by the value from wp-config.php so try to modify the value from that file, here it’s a guide regrading this
http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

Let me know how it goes!

Thanks!

Hi,

I see that when I click on that link it redirects to your homepage, but I don’t know what post it is. You have this issue only with a specific posts, as I have checked your site and clicked on few articles(standard, video) and did not found any issues. You can check this without any plugins active except of Visual Composer, clear cache and see if you still have this issue.
If the issue persist, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide more details(the link to the specific article so we can find it on your site) wp-admin access so we can take a look, paste a link to this topic so we know who you are and what your issue is.
To add ads to your homepagepage content via VC pagebuilder, you can use Ad Box block and set the ad you want to display – http://screencast.com/t/bIOp24LJrYC
For posts pages you can use the article inline ad spot and set it to appear after x paragraph – http://screencast.com/t/mG0q0d4qq

Thanks!

You might share screen shot of your ad panel, showing the setup for your article ads.

Also make sure you clear your site cache, any CDN caching you’re using, etc. — otherwise changes not seen.

Hi there,

I’m having issues on a site I developed (http://newmediaresearch.educ.monash.edu.au/lnm/ ).

The front page is a static page, with a ‘widgetised sidebar’ and have included the raw html from twitter to display a twitter feed. Hopefully* you’ll be seeing the same thing I am; which is nothing.
When debugging, all I get in the console is “Uncaught Error: widgetId is a required parameter”

However, when you go to a page that’s “automated” (that is, it’s a menu link, listing only specific post categories) it works fine — http://newmediaresearch.educ.monash.edu.au/lnm/category/news-item/
Predictably, in the debug console there is no error on pages that it works.

I’ve tried clearing the cache — I’m using w3 TotalCache; But that doesn’t seem to fix it.

Any thoughts?

*I’ve had this happen once before, and it seemed to ‘magically’ fix itself, but I wasn’t sure why.

Photon of Jetpack plugin cache images in wordpress server and help my site in bandwidth reduction including I/O things, but the problem is that Revolution slider images are not working when Photon is enabled. Thus I’ve to turned it off.

Now the problem is that I can’t ask the Revolution people since I didn’t buy the plugin but its bundled with your theme. Is there anyone encountering this or just me.

There are still problems with this plugin. I needed to change the Instagram-Username. After the change, the counter constantly shows “0” followers. Caches are emptied and I deinstalled the plugin and installed it again – does not help. Ideas? Thank you!
