Hi ventz,
First you need to make sure that the post view count is enabled for posts.
For example if you use standard template the option need to be enabled from the theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/s905T16.png or if you have a cloud you’ll need to set the element with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/k4l1Ca6.jpg
After that if you are using some cache plugin, make sure that this option -> https://i.imgur.com/yjNzTwW.png is enabled.
If you checked all those and the problem persist, then it may be a plugin conflict. Please make a test using only tagDiv plugins and see if the view post is counting when you visit a post.
Let me know the results!
Hello.
We want to change the background color of the whole line of the “td-demo-custom-menu” to orange as you can see in the screenshot with the places circled in green color.
At the web browser level, we were able to do it simply by changing:
.tdi_41_rand_style {
background-color: #f4f4f4 !important;
}
to:
.tdi_41_rand_style {
background-color: orange !important;
}
And that gives the result of the following screenshot: https://ibb.co/mb4d3LV.
But when, we copy our code from the modified “orange” background into the “Live CSS” field, no changes are made. We even cleaned the cache but nothing has changed.
How then, to change the background color or the Background-color of the whole header containing the “td-demo-custom-menu” ???
Thank you for helping us please.
Looking forward to your message.
Hello @2fly4!
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
If this problem is not solved after that, then we need to take a look and see what happened there.
Please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– cPanel url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Our team will take a look!
Thank you!
Hello @novagreen!
The theme panel have a blue button save settings. If the Theme Panel is not saving the changes you made, please check if you have object cache on Backend: https://www.screencast.com/t/RGAmXzLoXpxw -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
This issue has been discussed already here too, please check this topic for more investigations: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/theme-panel-not-saving-4/
Please note that the changes from the theme panel are for the default template mostly and not for the cloud templates.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
I can see the ad placeholder. Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins and the extra non-tagdiv ones, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
Please make sure you activated the Google Adsense code and check the permissions from your google account.
If the AdSense code needs to be set between head tags, this can be set in our theme in Theme Panel -> Analytics/Js Codes. Example: https://prnt.sc/1tju9qf -> https://prnt.sc/10jk7fq
If you use auto ads, then the code must be placed in analytics too.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hi Bettina,
thank you. I have tried this:
But it shows only 8 comments, not 100. Do you know whats wrong? Please click here:

At the moment the cache is not cleared. You have to open the site with ?fsdsgsfd (for example) at the end to bypass the cache.

Hello @pimpfred!
The other ads in the cloud template can be added with the element called “Ad box”. Also, delete the ads from the theme panel. Please check the documentation also.

Hello @andreabarbieri!
If you do not want to see any AMP pages then please disable the amp plugin and if you use the Mobile theme plugin, please make sure you use the option without amp.
Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
Please make sure you save it like that and also after modifications reindex by Google.
Thank you!
Hello,
This is a strange situation, please if you can do a test using the theme plugins, clear all cache and see if the issue persists.
Also, if you want you can contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com, and provide the wp-admin access and cPanel access to be able to investigate it.
Also, paste a link to this topic so we can easily identify you and please make a full backup.
Also please try to not reply multiple times in the topic if possible, this will only delay our response. Replying multiple times will refresh the topic date and move it to the back of the line, we answer from oldest to newest.

Hello,
Im experiencing a lot of 502 and 504 errors. Our site is westfaironline.com. Back in October I was told to update the theme to its latest version. Which I did, but we are still having the same issues. I contacted our hosting provider and this is what they are telling me:
We have identified high admin-ajax.php utilization originating from the westfairsite install. Currently there is excessive ajax usage recently which is affecting the servers CPU Usage and affecting other users on the Shared server environment.
/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?td_theme_name=Newsmag&v=5.1
Because hits to admin-ajax.php can’t be cached, they tend to utilize a lot of the server’s resources. Therefore, you will want to contact your developer in order to reduce this usage so that the site performs better.
There are also a large amount of requests from the same IPs and user agents hitting the site at the moment. If these are legitimate, we suggest placing the site behind our Advanced Network/CloudFlare directly, and/or taking steps to minimize these hits either with a robots.txt crawl delay, or a code delay if these are part of a service. If they are not expected, we can assist with implementing blocks if you would like.

Hello,
I added the following to my .htaccess file, but do not see any change in the site.
<FilesMatch "\.(ttf|otf|eot|woff|woff2)$">
<IfModule mod_headers.c>
Header set Access-Control-Allow-Origin "http://skin.cdn.com"
</IfModule>
</FilesMatch>
I cleared the cache in the backend of the website and my browser, but am still not seeing icons.
Hi guys, I am using Newspaper theme for years now (on many sites!) and I am very happy with it.
I am in the need of changing the Google Analytics code. I have a website with mobile theme + AMP, as your suggestions.
Now, I removed the code from the AMP Analytics section, https://prnt.sc/20xmwry
but I see traffic (ONLY Amp) in the Real Time Analtics dashboard! https://imgur.com/a/G6sykXi
If you make inspection of any page, you will find no code (UA-XXX..) in ANY page. I already flushed the cache, many times.
So, I ask you: how is this possible?
Do you know of any back-end installation of Newspaper theme of the Analytic code?
I need to remove it!
My site: https://www.beautydiary.it/
Thank you

Hello @awato!
Please refresh the page, delete the cache and try again. When you look in the cart, there should be an error saying that the product is out of stock and you can not buy the product.
In order to avoid misunderstandings, then please provide more information about the issue, screenshots or a video.
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link, paste it here.
Thank you!
Hello @hasmukhkharadi!
You should apply there only the username, not the whole link: https://www.screencast.com/t/LxxYV7diCUj
Re-check the settings.
Please make a test, deactivate all the cache plugins, clear the cache from your browser and see the results.
Thank you!
Thanks for your reply.
i have done all this [The issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.]
but the speed is still slow. the issue started when i moved my hosting to another service provider.
The speed is a lesser concern at the moment. The major concern i have is that my article featured images are not showing on the posts. even when i deactivated all plugins, the problem still persists. Thanks again

Hello,
Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Did you use WP Bakery? If yes, we strongly recommend using only one of those plugins with our theme (WP Bakery or tagDiv Cloud Library, but not both).
Also, if you agree please provide the link to your website.
Thank you!

Hello @lavr0003!
I’ve tested and imported the footer and everything comes in place.
Please re-import the footer and see the results.
If the problem is still there, then the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
Hope that helps you!

Hello,
From what I’ve seen you have several plugins that are not tested with the theme, but please disable again all plugins non tagDiv plugins and let the WP Rocket be activated.
After this please try to purge the OPcache from WP Rocket and clear all cache and check the post.
Let me know the results!
Thank you!
Hello @newsng!
The issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
However, page loading speed can depend on many factors, and each website is unique from this point of view. Let me explain some of these factors and maybe they give you some starting points for optimizing your website.
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin on not, if you are using PRO demo or a standard one.
For the page speed, I can recommend you some solutions in order to increase the score.
Our developers are working a lot to improve the page speed in every update.
Also, to increase the page speed you can check these similar topics for more solutions:

– https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tnkVapqhIHc
Please check the tutorials from those platforms gt metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

Hello @RapTijd!
Please make sure you have all the required plugin up to date, installed, active and all the requirements are done as you can see here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If your settings from the theme panel are missing and you use default templates, then please make sure you have Standard pack plugin installed and active.
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue, that’s why, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones, also if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser) and try again.
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Thanks for the clarification Bettina.
I like the mobile theme, but it seems i have to sacrifice a lot of content and creative presentation.
So i decide to try mobile pages, but then I have other issues with cache (since i do not use the recommended cache plugin). I will explore it further later.
