Hello,

My website metrics have improved significantly, and I want to thank you for your help. However, I’m currently facing two issues:

Desktop Shows Mobile Layout

When I open the site in a desktop browser, it displays the mobile version/layout instead of the desktop version.
Images Loading Very Slowly

The images on my site take a very long time to load, or sometimes do not load at all.
Here is a screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/sW43dcdsPst7

I am using EWWW Image Optimizer and LiteSpeed Cache. Despite these optimizations, the images still load quite slowly, and the layout issue persists on desktop.

Any advice on how to resolve these problems would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Hello,

Please disable the wp super cache because you need there a strong cache plugin, like WP ROCKET OR Litespeed cache.
As I said, please disable the AMP because it is deprecated and no longer used.
After you run to optimize the images, you need to use this to regenerate the thumbs -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbs-on-modules-and-blocks/ and use this option for blocks

Hello,

Thank you for your previous recommendations. I have followed your advice, but I’m still experiencing the same issues:

Recommended Theme Settings

I am still using the theme developer’s suggested configurations.
WP-Super Cache is installed and configured as recommended.
Plugins and Additional Adjustments

I have the Google Kit plugin installed for AdSense application.
“Spinet” is enabled for news registration.
I installed the AMP plugin because it was recommended by the theme. Previously, it was set to “mobile + AMP,” but following your advice, I switched it to “AMP only.”
I installed the EWWW Image Optimizer plugin to optimize images.
I have temporarily disabled Google Auto Ads.
Ongoing Issues

I haven’t seen any significant improvements in overall site speed or metrics such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP).
The site loading speed is still slow, especially on mobile, which negatively impacts the user experience.
Occasionally, some devices continue to display the mobile version of the site instead of the desktop version.
Do you have any additional recommendations or further settings I should check? Any guidance on potential conflicts between AMP, WP-Super Cache, and other plugins would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Kind regards

Hello,

I have tried to check your website, and it is not working -> https://i.imgur.com/2R6tBui.png
Maybe you have installed and activated the tagdiv mobile theme plugin, if you have this plugin activated, then please deactivate it, clear the cache and check after.

Please check this topic where I explained each mobile version -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/mobile-version-not-working-properly-2/

Thank you!

Hello,

This problem is caused by the object cache that you have on the website.
Please check if you have an object cache file in wp-content, please delete it and try again to activate the license -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/general-options-may-interfere-newspaper-theme/
If you own multiple licenses of the theme, you do not need to create multiple forum accounts, you can add your extra Envato keys to the existing account on this forum, for this please check our documentation for Find your Envato Purchase Code -> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-activate-the-newspaper-theme/ Please scroll to the bottom note

Thank you!

The site needs serious optimization:

Too much JavaScript – needs to be deferred. Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/ACCbGsnathL3
Fonts should be preloaded.
CSS needs optimization.
Many third-party requests should be deferred. Screenshot: https://prnt.sc/Yi662H8uUVWl
Cloudflare settings might not be optimized properly—I couldn’t verify them.

also, adjust the image resolution in the Tagdiv composer
use a better Cache plugin.

Hello,

I am experiencing the following issues with my WordPress theme and would like to request support:

Slow Site Loading and Performance Issues

Website: https://scopefeed.com/
Desk https://prnt.sc/Pm8w1k7V_SwB
Mobile https://prnt.sc/ymktywsdD_sM

I receive “Largest Contentful Paint (LCP)” warnings in speed tests.
My Speed Index is also significantly high.
These negative results in Google PageSpeed and similar tools are affecting user experience.
Recommended Plugins and Settings

I have installed WP Super Cache as recommended by the theme support team.
I followed the setup instructions provided at https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
I also configured my Cloudflare settings as detailed in the theme documentation at https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Ongoing Problems

Despite these configurations, I am not seeing a notable improvement in my PageSpeed scores, especially concerning LCP and Speed Index.
The site remains slow to load.
Mobile View Issue

On some devices, and occasionally even on my own computer, the site displays the mobile version instead of the desktop version.
This occurs randomly, suggesting there might be a caching or theme conflict.
I have attached a screenshot of the Google PageSpeed results for reference.

Could you please assist me in troubleshooting these issues? Are there additional cache, Cloudflare, or theme settings I need to check or adjust? I would also appreciate your guidance on resolving the mobile view problem.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Best regards.

Jobothan, I totally agree with you, I am sharing with you the only thing that helped me.

If you just want fast speeds by caching – FastCGI, Redis and if you can afford WP Rocket or a similar plugin. But this won’t solve the problem with the queries every first load will take 20 seconds.

Check my site – eurocom.bg and see how it loads (you can add a “?cache-buster=1” parameter to each of my URLs and you will see how fast it loads without cache.

Hi,

Yes, sorry.
I see that you have these ads, and I recommend using the WP Rocket or Lite Speed Cache plugin to optimize the images, fonts, and scripts because those can cause CLS. By optimizing the other parameters, it will influence all those metrics to have a better score.

Thank you!

Hello,

I just checked now, and the pagination is working, but you have errors in the console.
Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins, including WP Bakery, except tagDiv ones. Also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.

Thank you!

Anamaria

HeHi,

Now the cls it is ok https://i.imgur.com/Hx7wczD.png -> https://i.imgur.com/Hx5mpmZ.png
You can use Litespeed cache, which also has a free version > https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/plugins/how-to-use-litespeed-cache/

Thank you!

Anamaria

Hello,

You can use a plugin like Litespeed -> https://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/wordpress/plugins/how-to-use-litespeed-cache/ or WP Rocket.
Also, you need to optimize your images using the plugin EWWW Image Optimizer and the OMGF plugin for the font.
Likewise, if the plugin provided by petar77 is paid, and the settings and optimizations made by that person were for an additional cost.

Thank you!

I dont have a cache plugin but I do have cloudflare. I tried to “Purge Everything” on cloudflare and that didnt help. Any ideas?

Hello,

I just tested your website, and I saw that you have a lot of scripts for ads https://pagespeed.web.dev/analysis/https-www-vincimi-it/2ej9cytgc3?form_factor=mobile You need to use a plugin to reduce and optimize requests, such as the WP Rocket plugin. Additionally, consider using the EWWW Image Optimizer for image optimization and the OMGF plugin for font.

There are many optimization guides provided by our users here in the forum, some made by us; you can check some of them

Hello,

You have the mobile theme plugin activated; please deactivate it and clear the cache.

Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.

My template (now on Version: 12.6.8) update aproximately two weeks ago, and in the process I ended up with all the demo content and woo commerce content being placed back in my dashboard.
It was a simple thing to delete it all out, and all seems fine on the desktop.
But ever since, the mobile version of my site refuses to display correctly.
It looks fine in the dashboard (How the mobile page looks in the dashboard is here )
I have deleted the mobile page and re-created a new one – which has had no effect.
I have entirely deleted the cache plug in – no effect.
I have deactivated plugins – no effect.
I have installed a new cache plug in – which I cannot now activate
I had made no changes to the site, and can track down no reason for this

Hey there,

Is it a large installation? If yes – I had the same problem. It seems that the theme support doesn’t really want to look into it because I tried connecting them with a person that fixed my queries and now my site works like a charm.

I recorded a video for that developer because he really helped me, check it here – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqgcOlksZ0Q

The plugins can be found here https://www.superspeedyplugins.com/

I get speeds of 1.5 seconds without cache.

make sure not using PHP 8.3 (8.2x max); also make sure you don’t have zomm mode on in Chrome as they seem to have some bug on Windows when also having text zoom on in the Windows OS settings. Try clearing cache in your web browser. Some third party plugins can also conflict with UX CSS.

Upshot, working for me with both PHP 7.x and 8.2x, using Chrome web browser on Windows 11.
(I don’t work here.)

Hi there.

When I first installed this theme I had loading times of 3-4 seconds. Now it has become an absolute turtle. And I dont know why.

The site is http://www.ateisten.dk – can you guys please tell me why it’s so CRAZY slow all of the sudden?

I have many times been in contact with my provider and optimized a lot of different settings to make it faster. That has helped a bit, but now it has gone completely the other way, and I will lose readers if I can’t fix it.

I use WP super cache and most my settings seem optimized.

Please help!

Hey there,

I want to know is it possible to somehow exclude the elements that say how long ago a post has been submitted from cache?

Best regards!
