Thank you. I do understand that from now on, if something happens, I’ll contact LiteSpeed team. This is definitely an LSCache issue.

Hi,

This usually happens because of caching plugins or settings from them. Some caching plugins can mix up the main theme with the mobile theme. We recommend where possible to use the super cache plugin, in our tests such issues did not happen when the mobile theme is active – https://tagdiv.com/wp-super-cache-plugin-install-and-configure/

If you use the same caching from this topic
https://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/threads/issue-with-mobile-caching-in-lscache-plugin.17148/
You could check if the setting mentioned there is enabled, if not enable it and purge the cache. Check if that works.

Thanks

I deleted it after it caused the issue, and I cleared the cache so many times, but it didn’t work ?
I can provide you my WordPress account details within email in case you need to take a closer view.

Hello !

It seems to be a plugin conflict. Try disabling your Ad Inserter and use only the options from the Theme Panel to insert ads since there are many. Clear your cache and try again.

Let me know if this works.

Thank you !

We have a weird bug that causes the website to be served in what I think of the mobile version. This happens from time to time.

Mobile version

Normally, it looks like this:

Normal version

Litespeed Web Server
PHP 7.3
Lightspeed Cache
WP 5.2
Newsmag Version 4.8

This started with v4.8.

Hello,

I checked my caches, they were well disabled and I saved my settings.

However, I followed your tutorial image, but the problem is still present.

Thank you

Hi,

Maybe it is happening because of browser cache, I checked again with desktop Firefox
http://prntscr.com/noralyhttp://prntscr.com/norar2http://prntscr.com/noraup
And mobile Firefox – http://prntscr.com/norcog
Try to clear the cache of the browsers you are testing with, then check if it works the same for you.

As a side note, if you reply multiple times in the topic it will delay our answer. The topic will be moved to the back of the line because the topics are sorted by oldest.

Pretty much all of the features of the theme work for me except the ads. When I click to the ads section and then click on any of the ad placement options, the theme just hangs with the circle going round and round indefinitely.

I have updated all of the resources to more than what the theme guidelines call for. See below. WP-Supercache is not compatible with WP 5.2 yet and was giving me errors so I deactivated and deleted it. I am using Cloudflare though for caching. I have successfully used the Newspaper theme for 4 years now, but recently had to change my host due to some difficulties with my old host. The problem with the theme has happened since I switched to a new host. I originally had version 9.7.2 when I switched to the new host and I downgraded the theme to 9.7.1 to see if the issue would go away, but the ads are not accessible in either version. I have also turned off all plugins except for TD Composer and TD Speed Booster, so there does not appear to be any plugin conflicts. I also copied my current .htaccess file below

Appreciate any help.

Hi Calin,

Yes, we are using the plugin you advise to use.

So really it’s a bit of a poor reply, I’m sorry but you have all these loyal users that are experiencing the same issue.

So your response is, we are never going to get the issue fixed, we have to continuously clear the cache whenever the problem arises.

Do you honestly think thats fair? To have visitors use our site and then next day they visit they get the mobile theme pushed to them and we have to KNOW our self the issue they are experiencing and clear the cache only to wait for it to happen again.

Very poor support.

Is there not anything you can do? As I will have to change theme, I am not putting up with a ridiculous issue like that, especially when I am using the plugins you advise.

Thanks for the reply.I have disabled the main and most burdensome plugins (W3 Total Cache, Userpro …) but the problem seems to be getting worse: now it seems to immediately lose all the configurations or even the import of settings doesn’t work.

Hi,

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using the lazy load to your images from Jetpack functionality and that’s why you bring this error. You need to disable it or disable the lazy load functionality from theme panel, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ckuXeoWvuKGj

Please notice that your support period expired -> https://www.screencast.com/t/RPfs7YnmF I suggest you extend your support if you still need our help with your website.

Thank you for your understanding!

Hi,

Please make sure if you are using the latest version of the theme installed/updated via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results. Also, check the system status parameters to be increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/

Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!

Thank you!

Hi,

I have checked all the websites you mention, the view count doesn’t work in all of them. The counter doesn’t go up as it should.
In most cases this is caused by caching. The view counter may not work correctly even if the ajax view count setting is active, with some caching plugins.

I see that all those websites use fastest cache, what if you test in one of them while deactivating that cache plugin, check if it works then. We recommend where possible to use the super cache plugin, this should work alright with the theme ajax view count.

Thanks
