Hi,
Clear all of the caches, purge CDN files, remove browser caches and check the results.
Thanks.
Hello,
Thanks for the suggestion. I have spent the last 4 hours regenerating the thumbnails and clearing cache. However, the issue still persists on the side-bar thumbnails and the ones below each post.

Please advice and thank you.
@robertcfp just regenerate all thumbnails with plugin Regenerate Thumbnails
after clean cache if you have it on your website
I already cache php content with Nginx fastcgi cache. I just noticed if you run top on my box and do a search, you can see sql consumes all the cpu for a brief delay and everything comes back. It’s not that the search is terribly slow, but i would love to pre-cache it so the response is faster and there is less load on my server. Is there a sql query its running that i could make sure to optimize around? guess i’ll enable query tracing and see myself, but figured i would ask. The behavior doesn’t look unique to my site and most people may not be paying close attention to search 🙂
YesI am curious too. I don’t think it is a plugin conflict. This is something elsebut I don’t know. Below is my system status.
Theme name i Newspaper
Theme version i 9.0.1
Theme database version i 9.0.1

post_max_size i 64M – You cannot upload images, themes and plugins that have a size bigger than this value. To see how you can change this please check our guide here.
max_execution_time 180
max_input_vars 1000 – the max_input_vars should be bigger than 2000, otherwise it can cause incomplete saves in the menu panel in WordPress. To see how you can change this please check our guide here.

GD library available
WordPress and plugins
WP Home URL i https://www.noiseash.com

Caching plugin WP super cache – for best performance please check the plugin configuration guide here.
Hello simcris.
I know you are a great connoisseur of the Newspaper theme. You helped me a lot in the time of Shim and helped to solve very well the overload of my server at the time, but today my site has greatly increased the volume of simultaneous accesses and I have had the same problem that the users here of this post has been facing. I know the problem is regarding the use of TDC with the post view ajax function of the theme. But I could use the post view without the ajax function because I do not use cache plugin. It turns out that the view count does not work without ajax enabled, even though I never use cache plugin. I already tried to get this doubt with the developers of the Newspaper here in the forum, but the answer was empty. Would you have a hint of how to make cont views work without ajax since I do not use cache plugin? I know this would solve my overload problem at high peaking hits.
Thanks in advance!
Hi,
Our theme is compatible with those browsers, please check our demos -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/
If you set correct the blocks/flex everything need to look just fine, also please make sure that you do not have any plugins that can interfere with the theme ( make a test and deactivate all non theme plugins, can be a plugin conflict ), and make sure that you clear all cache if you are using some cache plugin.
Here is how I see your website now
Google chrome -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ZI7YcUPNxZU
Safari -> https://www.screencast.com/t/04fuZEQAS
Firefox -> https://www.screencast.com/t/Vb26DCSPIX
Thank you.
Hi,
Usually this is a plugin conflict, please deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and see if this problem reappear.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
I have inspected your website source and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins and also, you have a lot of js errors, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/c25yOmNx Ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme installed via FTP way, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi themesic,
Please note that I’m Calin, not Catalin.
Those queries usually are for pagination, or filters from pages, you can deactivate ajax dropdown and pagination, clear all cache and try again, see if those slow queries are still there.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Please notice that the theme only take the AdSense code which is delivered on your side and also, the theme does not change anything on ads.
This can be a plugin conflict, please try to deactivate all non theme plugins , clear all cache and see if this is happen again; also please check if you have any errors in console, and try to correct them -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xdomfJUwoLz
Thank you for your understanding.
Hello
The tutorial only requires Facebook ID whereas mine also requires Facebook App Id, Facebook Security Key & Facebook Access Token.
I have deactivated and deleted the plugin, cleared cache and tried to reinstall (from the theme plugins page within wordpress) with no luck. The facebook page is public and visible to everyone, i have created a test page https://ukhh.com/test which includes the social counter at the bottom of the page.
Many thanks

Hi,
This can be a plugin conflict, you can try to deactivate all non theme plugins, clear all cache and look again.
Also you can try to hide that video, if you want to do that you need to add the below custom css in Newspaper>theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
.td-post-sharing-classic{
display:none;
}
Thank you.
Hi,
Unfortunately, please notice that our recommended caching plugin is WP Super Cache which might be set up according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ Notice that we do not provide any optimization services and also, we do not receive any bad report until now, sorry!
Thanks for your understanding!
With “popular 7 days” is the problem that it does not work with cache or CDNs.

Hi,
You can try our page-speed guide -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Also please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized.

Hi Catalin,
I tried removing one additional not tested plugin, cleared caches on different machines but it still doesn´t work. If you would like to take a look please visit https://www.hucloud.at/gikavol2019/.
Thanks,
Andreas
Hi,
I would suggest that you check the theme requirements guide. Check if there is enough WP memory and the necessary PHP extensions are available (especially mbstring – https://www.screencast.com/t/YX4mKZmlUPFw)
Also, try the suggestion from this topic and add the mentioned code in the .htaccess file
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/gray-page-tagdiv/
Also, disable all of the untested plugins, clear all the caches, purge CDN files and check the results.
Let us know the results.
Thanks.
Hi,
Please check our documentation about Excerpts introduction -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/excerpts-introduction/ please try to both settings letters and words to see each of theme is better for your situation -> https://www.screencast.com/t/xGu0ROSeTCz , also if the problem persist please deactivate all non theme plugins and clear all cache, after that see if the problem persist.
Thank you.
I’ve noticed if people use Ajax search box, there is a delay and CPU spike as the search goes on. Is there any information on how to optimize the MySQL query or use object cache with memcached to optimize the search so it’s fast & snappy?
