Hi,
What I can suggest in this situation if to make sure that you have a full backup, after that check this:
– check if the resources for the website are enough.
– enabled the debug file so you can track the errors and warnings from the website that need to be fixed.
– test with php v7.4 and v8.2
– make sure that you do not have any cache/object cache that is apply on backend.
Thank you!
Hi
H1-6 color settings are not reflected…
Why?
It doesn’t seem to be cached. .
Thank you.
Hi,
WEBP images are not loading although “USE WEBP FORMAT” is enabled -> have webp images on server already – regenerated all thumbnails and all have equivalent webp formats. What might be the problem? – Also note, all caches cleared several times.
Hello,
Yes, this happened since updating to latest version. I also noticed that sticky columns has also stopped working.
I managed to fix that by disabling modify js in litespeed cache plugins options, but to-top is still appearing top right of page.
Hi,
This situation appears because the request is forbidden – https://i.imgur.com/MzuTWZI.png this can be from a code set for restrictions in .htaccess, it can also be from security plugins, cache plugins sometimes from ModSecurity module when it’s enabled.
Thank you!
Hi Amit, the Ajax view count from the theme panel is used only for when a cache plugin us enabled. To no longer have those Ajax calls, then it will be need to totally remove the view count from the posts, only doing this the Ajax view count for post views will no longer be made (- https://i.imgur.com/k1QeCiQ.png – https://i.imgur.com/HpvVC22.png).
Thank you!
Hello,
1. If you are referring to the notice from Sustem Staus, then there are no worries; it is just a notice. I recommend using the WP Rocket plugin for cache if you are not happy with WP Super cache.
2. I recommend using PHP 8.0 or 8.1 because there, you may have plugins that are incompatible with this PHP version.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please provide some screenshots and the link to your website. Also, please let me know what cache plugin you use. Maybe if you have the mobile theme plugin, you need to check in your cache plugin if there is this option to have a mobile cache, for example https://i.imgur.com/6b3cmCl.png
A solution for sending a screenshot/video is this:
Download, capture, and send: https://www.techsmith.com/jing-tool.html
After making the screenshot, you will have a link; paste it here.
Thank you!
never seen this on my own site…did you try clearing browser cache? check site with malware scanner?
Hi,
I tried to setup fonts under theme panel-theme fonts-post content but didnt changed i cleared cache but didnt work i attc picture. https://ibb.co/NWyTx5q
Thank you
We had this issue on couple of websites after recent WordPress and PHP updates. Simple fix was to go and resave the footer and menu settings. It impacted Chrome on Windows 11, iPad, etc. Clearing Chrome cache didn’t help. Not just this theme, but an old WOO theme also.
Newspaper Theme v12.6.6
Thanks for the update. Some minor questions/remarks:
1. Caching plugin – No caching plugin detected
although we are using cache with WP-Optimize. Can you fix that?
2. Can we activate php8.3 with this template?
Thank you!
Might be the javascript bug from latest versions of WordPress. If using Chrome due hard reload of page (force clear cache). This caused similar issues for me. Might not be issue, but worth a try. 🙂
Hello!
I couldn’t see this issue. Every link seems to work just well.
Anyway, our theme has no feature that can do this. It could be possible to be from an extra plugin, some custom redirections or cache.
Thank you!
Hello,
I think that you have a plugin conflict there. Have you checked for a plugin conflict? Please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; also, if you use a child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache, and try again.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please make sure that you have enabled this option in the cache plugin -> https://i.imgur.com/9xZaxf6.png
Thank you!
I have the same issue, the separator lines have been gone for several weeks now. Do you have a solution yet? I was hoping with the new version of newspaper installed today, the separator line would appear again.
It’s not about the color or cache. Any suggestion?
I didn’t think you could use both editors same time? Maybe that is just my setup. I know we ran into a few issues with the bleeding edge PHP 8.x. I think 8.2x was as far as we could go. PHP 8.3 didn’t work for a *lot* of things. The TagDiv composer works fine with latest version of WordPress.
There was kind of a bug in WordPress admin, which required you to hard clear your browser cache due to a change in the internal version of jquery/javascript. I had issues where I could not set push date on posts. Clearing browser cache and hard clear via console in Chrome fixed that.
I don’t work here 🙂
We get this quite often. For various reasons it seems.
Just now the only change I can think of, is that there was a mild change in the text on the website.
Screenshot of Bug:

It was solved by emptying the cache within the WP Super Cache Plug-In.
Comment: we got the website designed by TagDiv, so there may be a few individual code aspects.
And in this latest update of Newspaper, my SMART SIDEBAR is ON but it’s not working even though I cleared all cache from WP Rocket. In previews version of the Newspaper was working well…
Hello!
Sometimes, the issue can be from a plugin conflict or a cache issue. That’s why we recommend first deactivating ALL plugins except tagDiv ones; if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache (also from your browser), and see the results.
Thank you!
Hello!
I hope the Opt-in builder plugin is installed and active.
Make a test and deactivate all plugins except tagDiv ones. Also, if you are using a cache plugin, deactivate it, clear all cache, and try again.
If the problem is still there, then please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide the following:
– admin url and credentials
– a link to this topic in order to identify you
Thank you!
Hello!
This seems to be a caching issue. Please try to uninstall the cache plugin and check if the problem is solved.
Thank you!
The problem is clearly not in the cache, I already checked that. But for the purity of the experiment, I have now cleared all caches several times and disabled the caching plugin altogether. The situation has not changed. I ask for help with the problem.
Hello,
Please clear the cache for a few times.
Thank you!
