Hello miket,
I have nspected your website and I saw that you are using other untested plugins and you have not deactivated them, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/2UH3nLOMUCx
Why do you not respected our list of recommended and tested plugins?
Please keep in mind that the only tested and recommended plugins to use with our theme are these ones:
Tested Plugins:
WP Super Cache- caching plugin
Contact form 7- used to make contact forms
bb press- forum plugin
BuddyPress- social network plugin
Font Awesome 4 Menus- icon pack, supported in the theme menus
Jetpack- plugin with lots of features *it may slow down your site
WooCommerce- eCommerce solution
WordPress (Yoast) SEO- SEO plugin
Wp User Avatar- Change users avatars
Anything beyond this list is not tested and I cannot say for sure if it will work or not.
Also, I have noticed that you are using a child theme. Most likely, you have some syntax error through it and that’s it is possible to get this error. Try to switch the theme to the main mode, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks.
Same problem here… even cleaning cache does not change it.
Hello Catalin,
I have changed style.css but it seem not effect. This is because of cache or something else? Do you how to fix this?
Thanks,
Hello,
I have a “Localhost” with settings, images, plugins etc identified to my “Live Website”
I imported the localhost’s Newspaper settings into the “Newspaper” of the “Live Website” and after doing so the region in yellow disappeared.
I went to the “Theme Panel Menu” and all the settings are in fact the same. But the appearance remains different.
The cache, cookies etc all have already been cleaned and nothing changes.
How to solve this?

Hello Catalin and thanks.
Since then I went ahead and moved the theme from my subdomain to my main domain and all those problems went away. No idea why it was wacky at the subdomain. Even after deactivating wordfence and cloudflare and clearing the cache everywhere.
hello,
I clear all the caches and this problem is appearing equal.
I used define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false);
Now it’s fixed.
Some ideia?
Actually, on posts such as https://survivalreport.org/resilience/ I get the following error:
Uncaught SyntaxError: Unexpected token : (index):10
The only active plugins are:
- Contact Form 7
- Tag Div Social Counter
- Tag Div Speed Booster
- WPBakery Visual Composer
WP Rocket is deactivated, browser cache cleared, Cloudflare cache cleared, DNS dlushed, post opened in incognito window.
Kindly let me know if you can offer support. I can’t screw around, if you don’t I’ll gladly buy another theme and try to forget this happened.
Cheers.
Hello sergiocosta,
Please roll back to the 5.1 version of Visual Composer because of the 5.2 version is not yet tested with the theme and might appears some errors. Clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks.
Hello Toni,
I have inspected your website and I did not saw any problems with your page. Everything seems to work as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/ddJYlkvK Try to clear all your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.
Thanks for the message!
please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Remove any image optimization tools you might have. Also check your permissions for WP:

Thank you!
Hello Rashburn,
Do you have added the Widgets on your page in the backend (2/3 ->content) with Widgetised Sidebar in 1/3 layout and the sidebar does not appears on your frontend? You should provide some useful screenshots with your homepage structure so I can see the sidebar and also, your front end to see the results. After all of your changes, please clear all of your caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello miket,
Please keep in mind that by default, the theme does not have this kind of error. Ensure that you are using the latest theme version, use only the tested plugins which come bundled with the theme core files, clear all the caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should make a new clean install from scratch via FTP way and re-install the theme and check the results.
Hope this helps and let us know how it goes!
Thanks for the message!
Hello Gaehr,
Sorry for this but please notice that we do not have any bad reports in this regard until now. I have made some tests on my site with a fresh install and I did not get any type of error regarding this. The theme should work as expected. First of all, ensure that you are using a right PHP version which is tested with the theme, recommended is to use 7.1, ensure that you are using the latest theme version, if you are using some untested plugins, remove all of them and leave just only the plugins that come bundled with the theme core file, clear all of caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello bformhals,

Please notice that the first steps in debugging of WordPress are to remove/eliminate all of the untested plugins which can cause some errors through the theme.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi, I am a bit desperate after trying everything I guess, also I have not found anything like this in the forum or in google.
After installing the new version of Newspaper (followed instructions correctly I think, cleared cache, and installed plugings) my post pages are looking way too big, so the letters go out of the screen in desktop and tablet…
I have tried changing post templates, sidebar position, etc, but the problem persists.
Here is an example (sorry it is in Spanish, but you can see it´s too wide):

Hello Lipsita,
Please notice that the correct theme pack can be downloaded from Theme Forest. I have checked it and should work as expected. If you are using some untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and break some options, try to disable all of them, leave just to active only the tested and required plugins, clear all the caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello Plexus7,
I have inspected your website and I saw that your icons work as expetected. Try to clear all the caches, purge all CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.
Regarding on page speed, please notice that thing depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit to our requirements. For an example, you should check our demo preview because this website is optimized.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
Please follow this guide and regenerate the thumbnails needed for the modules. This process will recreate all the thumbnail sizes needed, if they are enabled in the theme panel
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-thumbs/
This is the guide
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/thumbnails-fix-strange-looking-images-on-blocks/
After the regeneration process is complete, clear any installed cache and check the results.
Thanks
Hello bformhals,
Sorry for this but please notice that I have inspected your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and cause a lot of unknown issues, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/AkqAHRkOMg6j sorry! Notice that the first steps for debugging WordPress are to disable all of the untested plugins to avoid all of the conflicting plugins. You should roll back to the default theme functionality, remove all of the untested plugins and all of the additional customization which can break the theme, clear all the caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results. After this, if the problem is still there, please let us know.
Thanks for your understanding!

Hi Macksix,
I think this is a small detail that can be solved by yourself
Do some tests with the plugins, cache and the php version
My wp-config has the configuration
http://www.screencast.com/t/pm08YTPcDcu
Define (‘WP_DEBUG’, false);
I deactivated all the installed plugins, including “Visual composer”
I deactivated it, permanently.
Do the same, disable the plugins and enable one by one and then clean the cache
See if you have any plugins that have some of these settings
If you find something similar disable the options.
http://www.screencast.com/t/MKZ4dCje
Depending on if you do not find a brief solution
You can install the previous PHP version
Until a new version of the theme is released adapted to the new php version. It would not be possible?
Adding something similar in .htacess
# Habilitar o PHP 7.0
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php70 .php
<IfModule mod_suphp.c>
suPHP_ConfigPath /opt/php70/lib
</IfModule>
Hi,
If the Adsense code is valid, the theme will display it properly. Please check if is not somehow disabled in the theme panel
– https://www.screencast.com/t/7YVQeYQVJEt
Those options should be disabled by default
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
You could try to deactivate all plugins except the ones provided with the theme, remove any modifications you might have made to the theme, and clear any installed cache. Then check if the ad is displayed.
Please note that the theme by default, using only the included plugins and no modifications, displays Adsense ads without any problem. Something must be causing this, you just need to identify what.
Thanks
Hello guatefutbol,
I have inspected your website and I did not say any problems with your post title, sorry! It seems to work as expected. Provide more details and also, some useful screenshots so I can identify the problem. Clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hi,
The title of the news ticker can be changed in the theme panel, as mentioned above
– https://www.screencast.com/t/s8950xvgN
If you have made the change there and saved the settings it should display accordingly. Maybe you have caching installed, try clearing the cache.
Thanks
I use the W3 Total Cache, It works great with the theme, I’ve never had problem with W3 Total Cache.
The theme works like an airplane, very fast!!!!!
But the problem is not from the cache plugin
Today I will find out what is causing this problem
I’ll post the possible problem here.
… if I can solve it, of course!
But, If I can not solve the problem, I will continue using Visual Composer!
