Hello,
This is a strange issue. We have no such reports of any error that breaks a site at specific hours.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello boos11,
We are working yet on our website and we do not have installed the Seo Yoast at the moment and that’s why appears this meta. Please make sure if you have Seo Yoast activated and then you should use the Facebook Debugger and pull scrape again to refresh the page. Clear all your caches and check the results. It should work as properly. For more information about Facebook Debugger, check the guide here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/facebook-share/
Thanks for the message!
Hello ingilizcecin,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which can interact with the theme core files and might cause a lot of unknown issues. Also, if you have some additional customization through the code please try to remove all of them and revert the theme to the default state and also, remove all untested plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. Also, if the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch to another sub-domain and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Hello jmask,
I have made some tests in our theme with an external URL image and seems to work as properly, as you can ee here -> http://screencast.com/t/tjVZcrRmjs Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins.
Hope this helps!

Yeah I was clearing my browser cache and clearing dns caching from the computer using ipconfig in command prompt, but what I realized was that the hosting provider who I am hosting it on seems to be using something different which delays the file from being active immediately. I am hosting it on Godaddy’s WordPress specific hosting. They are hosting it on Solid State Drives which is good for speed…but it seems like they are slow in updating the core files..maybe some kind of backend caching..not sure…either way thank you for responding, great support, my issue resolved itself given time. Thank you!
Hello manumahajan26,
First of all, try to re-save your permalinks, clear all your caches and check the results. If the problem is still there, you should provide your website so I can take a closer look and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response. After this, you should check your Google Adsense to be a valid one.
Thanks for your understanding!
I am using wordpress 4.7, newspaper 7.6 and visual composer 5.0.1 and the backend editor is not visible when I go to all pages or any specific page (only classic works). In other themes it works, Just not yours. I tried clearing the cache and several other things I saw on the website and nothing worked. I had just purchased it 01/02/2017 so it is up to date. Please let me know what to do?

Images on search results page are not sizing properly.
http://www.scienceandtechnologyresearchnews.com
I have turned off and on my plugins, emptied the cache.
Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks for your help.
I have pasted the full code in from Google… Flushed the server cache… dumped the cache in three browsers and my ipad…. still getting it.
I was not getting it before I updated the theme.
Thanks
Hi,
Did you recently changed the meta description? If you did then Google may store the older version in it’s cache and you have to wait some time for it to re-index your pages.
I’ve checked your page source and the description seems fine – http://screencast.com/t/rvB5xlLiag
Maybe the description is too long and Google decided to cut it. Ultimately, they decide what’s displayed and what not, and their rules change often.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you have a cache plugin reset it and see if anything changes.
If you use a SEO plugin, check it’s settings to see if it doesn’t change these parameters.
Also try to reset the browser cache (ex. on Google Chrome – reload the page by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+R)
Thank you!

Hi,
Yes, the theme makes a request once every 3 hours. If you use a cache plugin this time may be delayed, it depends on the cache refresh settings.
Each social media service has an access limit on it’s API.
In our themes, the system was implemented this way(a request every 3 hours) to maintain optimal performance and avoid any possible risk of “too many requests” ban from the service owners.
Thank you!
Hi guys
As first thanks for your great theme, very nice job. For me are the pagespeed very important from SEO perpectiv.
After installung WP Super Cache like your docu and setting, I get the Content-Encoding failure (if I not logged in).
My hosting company told me, that everything are correct from his perspectiv and they support Super Cache. But the problem is still there.
Do you have any ideas, what the problem can be? http://www.rudii.ch
I can give as well the login datas if you want to check it. But I can not use this theme still the problem are still here.
Thank you very much!!!
Thanks for the reply!
I changed the footer template 4 file in my CPanel and changed the footer style to template 4 in the newsmag settings and I don’t see any changes for some reason. I cleared cache too.
Hi,
I suggest to disable all your plugins except Visual Composer, disable any css/js minifications, clear all your caches and purge your files if you use CDN and see how it goes.
Also if you use child theme please switch to the main theme.
Thanks!
Hello ohno,
Please keep in mind that the theme is fully tested and compatible with Visual Composer 5.0.1 which come bundled with the latest version of the theme which is Newsmag 3.3. If you are suing some untested plugins, please try to disable all of them and install only the plugins that come bundled with the theme packet and rule out any conflicting plugins. If the problem is still there, try to make a new clean install from scratch or create a new sub-domain only with the required plugins, clear all the caches and check the results. For them updating, use the FTP method because this is the surest and safe way in this regard.

Hi
Please make sure that you follow our documentation in order to install the theme: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ clear all caches then test the site again. Basically you need to unzip the Newspaper-tf.zip file and upload Newspaper.zip file in your wordpress.
Let us know ho it goes.
Thanks!

Hello m0re,
It should work if you have added the snippet of the code in the right section, as I have explained you above. Try to add again with more attention, clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for the message!
Also remember when editing elements on a ‘page’ in VC, when you save things in the VC panel, you still need to save the actual ‘page’ containing the VC elements.
Then clear browser cache to view updated page.
That’s what I do anyway. đ
Hello Catalin,
We already tried clearing the caches and we also tried keeping only the theme and plugins from the bundle but the end result was the same, those blocks seem to have changed :/
We ran a diff between 7.5 and 7.6 of the theme, and we can confirm what you said, but in this case between 7.4 and 7.5 every template file changed to include the
$td_column_number = td_global::vc_get_column_number(); // get the column width of the block from the page builder API
instead of
$td_column_number = td_util::vc_get_column_number(); // get the column width of the block from the page builder API
We even removed the child theme and the problem persists :/
Thanks in advance

Hello,
Please keep in mind that our theme has not been changed in this regard and it should be the same for your both website because is the same theme. I guess that your differents come from your additional customizations which you have made through your website. So, if you want to achieve the default theme behavior you should make a new clean install from scratch, without any additional customization and custom code, clear all your caches and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Satsuki,
I have inspected your website and I notice that you are using the Newsmag 2.3.6 which is not the latest version of it, as you can see here -> http://screencast.com/t/sPtUNmtc18cm First of all, you should update your theme via FTP. Clear all your caches and check the results. I guess that you are referring to these borders -> http://screencast.com/t/AU1eJuQ5sO7w which are present in Newsmag theme? Please check your theme panel at Theme color->Grid Line Color to have a valid color, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/npNIngoMrta
If is not what you mean, please provide more details so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

Hello justfreshkicks,
I have checked again and indeed, the ad on the bottom of the sidebar still not working. It is strange because the ad on the top of the sidebar is working fine. Please try to check your Ad code and change the ad with another one and check the results. Probably, the Google Adsense is broken and that’s why it is not displayed. Also, please contact the Google Adsense, tell the problem because they should be able to provide a more accurate response because as you can see, the theme displays the Adsense. Also, you can try to clear all your caches, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and check the results.
Thanks for your understanding!
