Hi,
You will have to make sure you use version 4.1 of the plugin. Check your plugins section: http://screencast.com/t/AeyJgjwyCq
If you do not have version 4.1, then please update your sociual counter plugin by disabling and deleting files for your current version and install the one that comes bundled with the latest version of the theme.
Then please follow this guide carefully: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-social-counter-tutorial/
After you set it up, please clear your cache and reset cdn files if you use it as the counter is affected by cache.
If you still have trouble with the facebook counter, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and investigate.

Thank you!

Hi

I am not sure why this warning appear because we didn’t got a similar report before and I can’t say for sure what could be the issue. Try to deactivate all plugins except Visual Composer, clear all caches, purge cdn file if you’re using also make sure that you update the theme according with our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ then test the site again.

Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!

Hello,
The standard embed feature done by pasting the video url in the post content is tested to work with the mobile theme. I tested it again and there is no need to use the [embed]YOUTUBE_LINK[/embed] method as youtube videos work on the mobile theme just by pasting the youtube link inside the content.
Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. There could be a conflicting plugin that causes the issue.
Thank you!

Also please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
Please also contact your server provider and let him know of this and if there is something that can be done from the server-side.

Dear Bogdan

The settings from revolution slider applied fine to my slides (if I choose Sort Posts by PostID, Date, Title, Slug etc.)
There is no cache or cdn in my site, this is not a problem, when I change the Sort Posts by settings, the changes applied immediately. There is no need to disable any plugin because of this ..
Also the post id is correct (because it works OK with Postid sort order)

The problem is with “Custom Order” only
I want to have a custom order of my slides as I describe in my first post

Thanks and regards

Vassilis

Hi,

If you follow my guide properly it should work as expected. Maybe you have caching on your site or cdn that will only show modifications once it’s cleared. Try to delete the whole code in the file and leave it empty and see if there will be any change (make a back-up first)
The method I provided works. Look:
header: http://screencast.com/t/ymYrr0X0
single_template files: http://screencast.com/t/wPRAEUTQrkU it should look like so: http://screencast.com/t/ie2S4vTFZ
If your modification did not apply, then you are probably not modifying the right file. EWvery pot template has it;s own file. You have to make this change for every post template you use. Maybe you modified one post template but you used another one on the post you tested.
here is my result: http://screencast.com/t/ukeeczxXr

Thank you!

Hello,

If settings from revolution slider do not apply to your slides, please clear your cache and reset cdn files. Also try to test other settings and see if anything applies as it may affect other settings as well. Also you can try to disable all plugins except visual composer and clear cache again to rule out a plugin conflict.
Also make sure the id of the posts are correct. You can get post id’s like so: http://screencast.com/t/WqoPeGuyk

Let us know if you still have trouble with this setting.
Thank you!

thanks for reply. The problem is happening randomly, not all the time and not always to same visitors. We are clearing cache every time when someone informs us about this issue, but it doesn’t help. And we are not using any cdn. This problem appears and disappears by itself each time.
Best regards.

Hi,
JS errors are generally caused by plugin conflicts, but they can be also caused by custom code.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer (all at once) and very important, clear your cache and reset cdn files. Then test again. If the problem is still there, please check for any custom code you might have in place and test without it. Restore the theme to it;s defaults or create a testing platform with a fresh install of wp and the theme and check there.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!

Hi

1. Please try this solution http://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/71630/font-blocked-from-loading-by-cross-origin-resource-sharing-policy-no-access-co it worked for most of our users. However if this does not work in your case try to contact your cdn provider and ask him if there is a particular step that must be followed in order to allow access to resources from http.

2. On the indicated pages you don’t have anything displayed on mobile because you’re using mobile theme. To have the content displayed on mobiles add it in mobile editor: http://screencast.com/t/UA31d1PX0y For more details about mobile theme please check this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/

3. Social Counter display the correct number from facebook now: http://screencast.com/t/xWOjToPB

Let us know if you need further assistance on this.
Thanks!

Hello,
On the page edit screen there should be this button: http://screencast.com/t/L9q1zEyGLT
If that button is not present it means that either the plugin is not active or there is something else affecting it. please disable all other plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If the button is still not present, please contact us via email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login to your site and investigate. Also include a link to this topic.

Hello,

The mobile theme on desktop issue is a caching issue. Please check your cache and cdn server settings as if the cache is too strong, it will use the mobile theme on desktop as well.
As for the login, we have no such reports. The theme will not show any login details if there is no user actually logged in. This would be a terrible security issue and I can assure you there is no such security risk in our theme.
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.

Thank you!

Hi,
Before anything else try this:
Disable ALL plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Then make sure you use the latest version of the theme(7.1.1) and of visual composer (4.11.2). If the issuer is still there please provide a link to this broken big grid so we can inspect it.
Thank you!

Thank you!

I’m sorry but I don’t get your reply, do you mean that I can only wait that the css cache expries on users’ browser?

To be clear, my problem now is that some users see the theme like this (screen taken from another website here, perfectly showing my issue).
Again, not using any CDN or cache plugin.

What if I make the following change to the functions php files in the child theme?… I mean, change 2.0c to 3.0…. Please note that this is my full functions.php in the child theme.

NOW

<?php
/*  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Newsmag 2.0 Child theme - Please do not use this child theme with older versions of Newsmag Theme

    What can be overwritten via the child theme:
		- please read the child theme documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

 */

/*  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Here we add the parent style and the style.css from the child theme folder
 */
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'theme_enqueue_styles', 1000);
function theme_enqueue_styles() {
    wp_enqueue_style('td-theme', get_template_directory_uri() . '/style.css', '', '2.0c', 'all' );
    wp_enqueue_style('td-theme-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css', array('td-theme'), '2.0c', 'all' );

}

NEW

<?php
/*  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Newsmag 2.0 Child theme - Please do not use this child theme with older versions of Newsmag Theme

    What can be overwritten via the child theme:
		- please read the child theme documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/

 */

/*  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Here we add the parent style and the style.css from the child theme folder
 */
add_action( 'wp_enqueue_scripts', 'theme_enqueue_styles', 1000);
function theme_enqueue_styles() {
    wp_enqueue_style('td-theme', get_template_directory_uri() . '/style.css', '', '3.0', 'all' );
    wp_enqueue_style('td-theme-child', get_stylesheet_directory_uri() . '/style.css', array('td-theme'), '3.0', 'all' );

}

Could this solve my problem?
