Hi,
Do you by any chance use a child theme? Please revert to the main theme if you so. Alternatively you can try this without any plugins to rule out a plugin conflict. Disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. If the problem is still there, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect this issue.
Thank you!
Wow !
<!– Dynamic page generated in 3.843 seconds. –>
<!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2016-05-29 18:46:33 –>
Almost 4 seconds is a killer. Remove WP Super Cache and try WP Fastest Cache. Enable compression, minify, and others.
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-fastest-cache/
Next, go to MaxCDN and buy the least expensive CDN for your site. Set up a pull zone and use WP Fastest Cache to connect it to your site.
Also, disable the speed booster plugin. Worry about getting that caching working for you.

Have a look at step 5 and see if this helps.

Personally, it slowed my site way down and I wasn’t able to remove render blocking for the CDN. I hope you have better luck with your site.
Worry about the render blocking after doing some of the easier things: cache, CDN, minify …
Content and page load speed are far more important than Google’s recommendations in Insight. It’ll also depend on where you get your traffic – some of the best sites are not perfect in Insight
Examples
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=www.techmeme.com&tab=mobile
https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.washingtonpost.com%2F
In other words — content first, responding to visitors second, webdesign optimization to the point it isn’t a distraction for your visitors.
Good luck on your site – it loads fine. It’s heavy so you can lighten it with removing grid blocks or keep it as is … and enjoy things 🙂
Hi,
Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. This should rule out a plugin conflict. Then check the instagram widget again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
The blocks can be configured from block settings and a specific category can be set to it. Please try to filter just a specific category for a block or a sorting option to see if the block responds to the new settings. Also make sure you clear your cache as sometimes cache can affect any setting on your site.
You can also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files in order to rule out a plugin conflict.
If you still have trouble with this, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect the issue.
Thank you!
Hi,
if you test one of our posts from the demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ you will see that no errors are being returns, so there is something on your end that is causing them The structure data tests all elements so if you removed the post author or date published or other elements, the test will detect that they are missing from your post and are required. Enable them from the theme panel and these errors will go away.
Also try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test again and compare the results.
Thank you!
Hi,
Maybe there is a plugin conflict somewhere affecting the sidebars so please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test your sidebars again. If the problem is still there, send us an mail at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect the issue. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.

Hi
Try to update Social Counter plugin to the version from this link: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/td-social-counter.zip then check if the error is still there.
I am not sure why this happens but it could be a problem caused by cache. Try to clear all caches after a new post it’s published then test again.
Thanks!
Hi,
Please try to deactivate all plugins excpt visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it.
If you use the wordfence plugin, please set it to learning mode as it will block the theme panel settings as this topic suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/cant-save-theme-settings/
Make sure you clear cache afterwards.
Let us know how it goes
Thank you!
Hi
I’ve tried to send you an email but every time the process fails.
Try to update the social counter to the version here: http://cdn.tagdiv.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/td-social-counter.zip Just deactivate and delete current version you have it installed then install this one, clear all caches the test again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks!
Hello Larshell,
I have checked your website and I saw that you are using a lot of untested plugins which could create this type of issue in the theme. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches (server cache), purge CDN file if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that our theme is a complex one which has a lot of code lines. I suspect your problem that comes from these updated plugins which interfere with the code source of the theme and cause a lot of unknown issues through the theme. As you can see, our theme has the own tested plugin, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/VuUrLqFI1 with the theme working as properly.
Please try my advice and check the theme to the default state (only with bundled plugins) and see how it goes.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
If you do not use a cdn server, then you do not need to clear anything.
Please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can login and inspect your site.
Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please make sure you have the thumbnails active in the theme panel: http://screencast.com/t/hyq216nO3 (if you change settings here regeneration of the thumbs will be required again)
You can try to use an alternative regeneration plugin like ‘force regenerate’
You can also try to disable all plugins excepot visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files to rule out a plugin conflict.
If your thumbs still do not show up, please send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide wp-admin so we can inspect your site. Also include a link to this topic so we can identify you.
Thank you!
Hello Balleto,
Also, please ensure that this type of issue does not come from your untested plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your cache, purge CDN files if you are using the CDN system and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. Please notice that I have tested the mobile theme in this case for my side and it works perfectly. Please try again after you have followed this advice and check the results and let us know how it goes.
Thanks for your understanding!
I use the recommended plugins and just a lightbox for a facebook like with no cache plugins or CDN. With traffic like this there was no problem with version 6.7. I have checked all your recommendations. Please try to simulate some traffic like 200-300 people and test again. I asked my host provider to do a full check and there was no problem on their side. He alerted for very high PHP processes rise. I think the high usage comes from currency widget and weather mainly.
Thanks!
Here’s what I just tried….
1: I disabled all plugins except Visual Composer.
2: I cleared my browser cache
3: I don’t know what cdn files are so I did not clear them. I’m using GoDaddy Economy Shared Hosting. I don’t know if I am using a cdn model or not.
The images are still not showing up. Please help!!
Can you explain what you mean by “clear cache and reset CDN files”??
Are you talking about the cache in my web browser, or a cache within my WordPress Site?
What are CDN files and how do I reset them?
Hi,
We tested our theme and we do not seem to have this issue on our side. The theme is optimized for best performances so please try this without any plugins. Disable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also make sure you increase the system status parameters like this guide suggests: https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/ and make sure you meet the requirements for newspaper: https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
If you still have issues with this, try to create a sub-domain and make a fresh install of wp and the theme for testing purposes.
Thank you!
Hi,
Please check the plugins again as you still have a js error in your console: http://screencast.com/t/0GSxK2JIJM
The lazyload animation is the first to break on js errors that is why the images disappear. DIsable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check your images again.
Thanks.
Hi,
The mobile menu is the same either you use the mobile theme or not. Please try it without any plugins. Dosable all of them except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check the menu again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
this error is a caching issue. It means you still have the old version cached. Please clear all caches you might have either from a plugin, a cdn server or hosting cache. Also, if you use untested plugins, please try to remove them.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hello,
Please deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test the demos again. If the problem is still there, try to reinstall the theme via ftp and make sure you copy over all files:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
I have inspected your site and saw the scrolling issue. Or theme does not have this by default if you check our live demo:http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ so I think it;s safe to assume it comes from other elements of your site.
Maybe you have some customization in place so please revert the theme to it’s original state. It could also be a plugin so please deactivate all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test your site again.
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
Hi,
You may have an incompatible plugin that causes this or maybe the theme update did not go as planned. The best thing to do is delete your theme and install it again fresh via ftp: https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ and rename the plugins directory of wordpress. This way only the theme will be active with no plugins. Test it out and see if the dashboard displays the same. If the problem is not there anymore, you can redo the plugin folder name and see if there is a plugin that causes this issue.(also clear any cache you might have on browser, host or cdn)
Let us know how it goes.
Thank you!
