I need to modify the following file in order to add a new checkbox for my users to check upon registration
wp-content\plugins\td-composer\legacy\Newspaper\parts\header\td-login-modal.php
All my modifications to the parent theme I have done on the child theme. In the following article
https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/ you say that all of the theme functionality was moved to the tagDiv Standard Pack, the root theme folder is wp-content\plugins\td-standard-pack\Newspaper and if I want to do any modification I should copy the modified file to my child theme with the correct path. But the file I want to modify its not in the td-standard-pack. How I should go about it? Any suggestion would greatly appreciated.

1. In Single Cloud Template – Travel PRO i try do upload from library an image on sidebar (image Ad tab), and it shows:
“Invalid data Current state has involved an issue. You could try an UNDO operation (CTRL+Z / CTRL+SHIFT+Z)”

The problem: we are trying to insert the a code to implement a third-party advertisement system based on Google Tag. This code is to coexist with current Ad Sense ads.
We have tried from multiple places to have it “live” on our webiste, unsuccessfully.
Places we tried:
– the slot included in the template
– template’s header.php directly from theme’s root
– template’s header.php directly from a Newspaper child folder.
Here are our conclusions:
You can post content within the header.php, and we can see it live in production environment, i.e. general comments or random text. However, the previously mention code does not update.
Here the steps we did.
1st. We enter the theme folder by FTP and then create a child.
2nd. We create a header.php with the modifications we needed.
3rd. we purged in wordpress
4th. we review the changes.
nothing happened.
We did this process repeatedly and the changes we made to “header.php” were not reflected.
then:
we made a backup of “header.php”
We put the changes in a dummy copy of the “header.php”.
We purge
The changes did not take effect.
then:
We eliminated the “header.php” that we were working on, to see if the changes actually took effect. We purged. On the page, the header disappeared. We retrieve the original “header.php”. Then purged. The page header appeared again.
These steps are carried out repeatedly.
In addition, we tried to create a log in the console and we could not see it either, meaning there was no error logging for none of the above steps.
However, I’m using the latest version of theme v10.3.4 and the child theme 9.0c.

This appears to be related to the newspaper child theme. I copied the latest child theme files from Themeforest download, and still the same issue. I contacted your team again via email.

So you are using child theme and you have set the blog as homepage, for this is possible to be need to make some changes in theme files in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/index.php -> https://prnt.sc/q5jvtz

The settings from our theme are saved in database, therefore these will not be lost when you’ll update the theme, but please note that if you have set same extra code in theme files this will be lost if is not set in a child theme.
How to Update the Newspaper Theme for WordPress -> https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme/ do not forget about the theme plugins.

I made the child theme in the way provided by the newspaper.
However, the layout of the index page is different.
Previously, images were listed (Template setting-Blog and posts template-Article Display View-M11)
But right now, the post comes out as a whole.
