Hi,
@beppepicaro That code will enable features for the product pages, such as zoom, image slider and modal. It can be entered in theme or child theme functions file, if you want to benefit from those features.
No need to change anything in the code, enter it and it should work.
The woocommerce shop page will show nothing in the mega-menu, when opened it will show content according to your settings
– https://www.screencast.com/t/23jih8QB
This default shop page can be skipped, you can display products in other ways as well. Such as Bogdan mentioned above shortcodes can be used, that is how the demo page was built.
Thanks
Upon further review…the above error is completely unrelated.
I’ve tried to edit the includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php file in both the WP editor and via SFPT for both my child and parent. Both have the line in the instructions you supplied commented out, but the og:image line still shows on my site. I also found that no changes I make to that file actually get rendered on my site. I have worked with a ton of people on my end to ensure this isn’t a cache issue, so the only thing left is an issue with the theme.
I’m getting two errors related to the td_wp_booster_functions.php
PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function do_action() in /nas/content/live/rtchronicles/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-Child/includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php:8\nStack trace:\n#0 {main}\n thrown in /nas/content/live/rtchronicles/wp-content/themes/Newspaper-Child/includes/wp_booster/td_wp_booster_functions.php on line 8
Line 8 is: do_action(‘td_wp_booster_before’); //@todo is probably not used by anyone
I’ve followed the instructions here and removed the code indicated: https://www.screencast.com/t/nTde1SGwJid.
However, I’m still seeing the og:image added. I’ve been through the documentation and forums here and it seems like removing this code should do the trick, but that extra line with og:image still appears. Is there another way to troubleshoot this? I’ve removed from my main and the child theme and from mobile just in case.
Thanks, I changed the file in the Child theme and I fix the problem.
I have another question related to this one… How can I display Author name in all article preview in block.
For example in Block 4 there is a related article where it’s display Author name and Date but in the right column there are more articles that only shows the Date.
I checked Theme Panel and activated Author name, but nothing changes.
I want the author name in all kind of Blocks.
Answered in the documentation:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-post-type-support/
How to create a custom single template for your post type:
Step 1 – Pick one of your favorite single templates (check the next image)
Step 2 – Copy it to the root of your child theme folder
Step 3 – Rename it to single-your_post_type.php (replace your_post_type with the WordPress ID of your post type. In our sample plugin the id is td_book so the file should be called single-td_book.php)
I’m not sure what you mean. Your site images seem to display just fine. What images are not showing up without shadowsocks ? I recommend disabling all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!
Hello,
Maybe you have updates set to automatic and a plugin got updated and the new version is not compatible anymore with the theme. Please test this without plugins. Disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.

Hi,
Woocommerce will import a default shop page initially, this will show products on the page like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/8AfWgJnt
The number of products per page can be controlled like this
– https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/change-number-of-products-displayed-per-page/
That code in the child theme or main theme functions.php file will allow you to change the number of products on a default shop page.
Or you can display products on pages using the shortcodes provided by woocommerce
– https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-shortcodes/
These shortcodes can be entered on pages using a text element, with the tagDiv composer
– https://www.screencast.com/t/6YDbXpsd
This way you could display for example products and other elements on the same page. This is how the theme woocommerce demo is made, with shortcodes
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_tech/shop/
This the actual page content of the demo page, maybe you can look it over
– https://pastebin.com/2RCe4N7C
Thanks
I would suggest to deactivate all plugins except theme plugins, deactivate the child theme if used. Check or remove temporarily any custom code you might have added in the theme custom code sections, or directly in the theme files.
Ultimately try to reinstall the theme by FTP if possible
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
If there is still a problem, send us an email at contact@tagdiv.com and provide admin login information so we can take a look. Also paste a link to this topic in the email.
Yes that is allowed, I should have given you this alternative as well. Add the nofollow attribute to the link as you mention in that file
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nmTeG75t
The file can be modified in the child theme as well
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Hi,
The theme will work properly given these requirements
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/
Also these recommended values for the server and WordPress
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Test with no plugins active except theme plugins, remove theme modifications, deactivate child theme if used. Additionally try a theme reinstall by FTP
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/
Note that the theme is tested with PHP versions up to 7.1 higher versions may cause issues.
Thanks
That is the sidebar you are seeing on mobile with the child with glasses: https://www.screencast.com/t/sYN5GdxotW6 how was it deleted when I can still see it on both desktop and mobile?
The footer is the same on both desktop and mobiles.
You seem to have a caching issue. That is why you cannot install wp super cache. Please try to install it on a wp default theme like twentysixteen and see if it works there.
Thank you!
i checked all the parameters and i still have the issue, inthe browser console those warnings and errors appered :

Hi,
Not all the files from the booster folder can be customized in the child theme. However the file you mention can be
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
So you can make the modifications you want in a child theme for that file.
Thanks

Thanks! For some reason if I put it in the theme’s Custom CSS area or the child theme’s style.css it doesn’t work, but edit editor-style.css directly or create a child theme version with just the changes and all good.
Hi,
@baztanet If you could provide a link to where this is happening on your website, we will investigate. All issues until now related to the social sharing were either visual issues resolved by clearing all caches installed, CDN and also browser cache, and adapting child theme customization.
Or in some cases conflicts with plugins, which caused the socials to not display or function properly.
Thanks
Hello,
There is something very wrong with your page. There are multiple elements that do not position as they should by default.
This could be a plugin conflict so please disable all plugins except the page builder, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Please also check any custom code you might have added to the theme panel or the theme files. If you use a child theme, please switch to the main theme to make sure it does not affect the proper functionality of the theme.
Thank you!

Hi,
I need to show Author Alias name instead of Author name. This field was imported from Joomla. I’ve been looking and this comes from your theme that is not using the standard way to display the author name.
In includes/wp_booster/td_module_single_base.php in the function get_author() (line 78) it uses: get_the_author_meta(‘display_name’, $this->post->post_author) whereas it should use of get_the_author().
I could change this on Child theme but I read Wp_booster content is not working on child theme.
How could I fix this?
Thanks in advance,

Hello,
We have seen the menu option be removed by plugin before so i think it’s safe to say it is a plugin conflict.

Hello,
The common problem when this happens is altering the theme name If you renamed the theme or the child theme to some other name, please restore it. If this is not the case, please contact us on our email address at contact@tagdiv.com and provide a link to your site and wp-admin (login information and admin rights) so we can login and investigate. Please also include a link to this conversation.
Thank you!
