Need a little help in choosing which Yoast content types should be indexed via search engines.
The Yoast plugin picks up a few extra content types created by the theme. The list includes Review Emails, Posts, Pages, Reviews and Cloud Templated.
The ‘Reviews System’ is disabled under General Post Settings in the theme panel, so I’m not sure why Review Emails and Reviews are showing.
What I’m curious about is the Cloud Templates. Would disabling this prevent posts using a specific template from being indexed?

Hi,
I managed to block this page from Cloudflare. Some of the IPs are getting blocked which are trying to access this page. Surprisingly, few of them are passing for the same URI as I can see the hits.

If you use cloud templates, then edit the page with the TagDiv Composer, click on the module, and check the settings to see if the category is set to be shown or not.
Or else, if you use default templates, then please check in the theme panel -> Block Settings -> Category tag on Modules/Blocks if the option is enabled for the modules you’re using and want to display the category tag.

1. You can activate or delete the AMP plugin. At the moment, you see the AMP plugin is not activated; that’s why you can’t see it on the left side with its settings. From my point of view, if you don’t use the Mobile Theme plugin, then there is no reason or benefit to AMP. Unfortunately, AMP is not working with the cloud templates because the AMP’s layout is not fully customized.
The AMP version works best with default templates and not cloud templates. That’s why we integrated it with the Mobile theme plugin.
The feedback from our clients about AMP was negative and it is not used anymore, that’s why we didn’t add more customization options.
2. If there are cloud templates, then please check the settings of that ad in the tagdiv Composer. You can see there if this is an image or a code.

Thanks for the update. I have been doing changes and checking the hits but unfortunately I am still getting the hits even though i blocked the URI (/wp-json/tdw/save_css
) from cloudflare as per the screenshot. I even tried different variation(like URI, URI path, full URI etc) to make sure i am not making any mistake but it did not help.
Also my hosting provider is still not able to figure it out why hackers IPs are not getting blocked. Surprisingly when I block my own IP, it works so its very strange.

I think it could be done from cloudflare as well, if you use cloudflare. That URL can be blocked like this for example – https://community.cloudflare.com/t/possible-to-block-specific-page-access/106765/3 In case you are using cloudflare, this would be a very good solution because cloudflare will block them before they reach the website. But in case it isn’t possible to set up cloudflare, the wordfence method will work as well. Please try it as soon as possible.

I don’t recommend using an amp because it is deprecated. Also, use cloud templates and flex blocks instead of the templates from the theme panel and blocks 1-25 or big grid blocks.

If you will use in the future cloud templates (that we recommend), then you have in the TagDiv Composer a lot of options for customization. We wanted to create the easiest platform, so you can build your website without knowing any code and have the possibility to customize every field from any demo. That’s why you do not need a child theme with cloud templates. But you can use the child theme you have with the default templates.
The child theme is not overwritten by the update. An issue with that could be the compatibility of your child theme with the new version of our theme.
If you have some custom modifications directly in the theme files, then better save the code and replace it after every update. You can use a staging plugin, so you won’t ruin your website.

I have done this. It does not help. I am using CloudFlare, but that only serves the pages from the main server. The problem usually resolves upon a refresh, but not always.

I’m using a plugin which by default adds an audio player before the_content(). It’s fine with the default template but when I change it to another single page template from the cloud library it doesn’t show. I’ve also tried to get it to work by adding its shortcode using both Raw HTML and Single External Shortcode elements but still nothing (the shortcode can be used to specify where on the page the player is to feature if you don’t want its default position).
The plugin devs say “Our shortcode will only function whistle running inside The Loop”.
The template I’m using is Magazine Pro. Are there any theme php files that can be our devs can edit? (I’m also having an issue which a special type of video ad which again I think normally uses The Loop).

I just installed “Newspaper WordPress Theme” and I have a problem with loading the Logos, I tried with the global options and from the Menu Header zone editing option.
Images load correctly in articles, the problem is in the images in the global theme settings.
I want to add that I am using the service in image delivery from Cloudinary. Send link with image capture.

I did a theme upgrade from version 9.x to the latest version. I know there were several major versions I upgrades at once, but I took a chance… After the upgrade I can´t view the start page properly https://www.roslagsbanan2.se/ or the posts http://www.roslagsbanan2.se/hyra-ut-i-andra-hand/, but the pages look OK https://www.roslagsbanan2.se/for-maklare/.
I have updated and activated TagDiv Composer and Cloud Libary. I assume I need to something with the post templates, but what? I have tried to update a post, but it did not help.
About the start page; I made it so long time ago that it can be made in Visual Composer (or whatever the name was). I am tempted to try to open it in TagDiv Composer and save it from there, but I decided to ask for advice here first. (I know it is said that the start page needs to be created again from scratch changing from Visual Composer to Tag Dig Composer, but I have previously successfully just opened and saved another start page in TagDiv Composer).
I am not a developer, I can do configurations within the theme, but no coding or too technical suggestions.

When I read this on your instructions regarding ‘child themes’
“Please note that most of the child theme modifications are no longer required as the Cloud Library plugin allows you to create templates for posts, categories, tags, archives, 404 pages, author templates, search templates,etc.
This way your modifications no longer require code modification and are truly update proof.”
It confuses me.
I do not intend on altering the code (for now) and I just want to use the website theme and it’s features but I am confused about this ‘no longer needed child theme’ and then ‘lets help you figure out how to instal a child theme’ right after.
For now, I just want to know what the best way is to install this so that I will not run into unforeseen complications down the road.

I guess if your instructions were a bit more detailed regarding this I would no be so confused right now. Once you start saying ‘no need for child theme’ I guess it would be better to explain why more than just a link that leads to instructions that do not actually tell you anything about that.
Perhaps one day after setting everything up, all the blogs, all the personal edits of theme pages and logos, if I then need to change something in the code THEN I would need the child theme? If so THEN is it possible to instal child theme or is this something I should do ahead of time just in case?

I’m using a Newspaper theme version 12.6.3 with Style PRO prebuild site from cloud.
Is there a possibility to override totally or partially the category template parts or maybe use some Tagdiv Composer php block?
I don’t want to use standard pack because its not so good for SEO/Speed.
What I want to do is:
1 – First show subcategories of actual category with title and background of each subcategory in one module, similar what I have with posts on homepage but with subcategories of actual category: rometm.com
2 – Next behind this module I will show top posts of actual category featured by my own criteria
I’m not asking for help with code implementation, just explaining what I want to do. So you can advise me the best options to override this parts.
