For a header is there a way to have two elements in a column / row? I would like to have the social icons on the far left side and a subscribe button on the far right side of the same row.

Any help would be appreciated.

When I install Testimonial from the cloud, my other contents disappear.

Please how do I go about it?

Thanks

Hello, Bettina!

Some do, but others were created from zeros. And the ones I took from Cloud Templates already had high customization.

If there is no way to recover them, how do I remove them from Post Settings and Theme Panel?

Thanks!

How can I send you a screenshot? What you have and what I have are totally different. I wish you would import the cloud template to see what’s actually there rather than showing me different versions I don’t have access to.

Hello!

Edit your homepage with the TagDiv Composer, click on Cloud and here you have a lot of examples: https://prnt.sc/9HPvc45MzyOc

Sandboxing (Experimental)
Try out a more flexible AMP by generating pages that use AMP components without requiring AMP validity! By selecting a sandboxing level, you are indicating the minimum degree of sanitization. For example, if you selected the loose level but have a page without any POST form and no custom scripts, it will still be served as valid AMP—the same as if you had selected the strict level.

Enable sandboxing experiment

Paired URL Structure
When using the Transitional or Reader template modes, your site is in a “Paired AMP” configuration. Your site’s canonical URLs are non-AMP, and the separate AMP versions of your pages have AMP-specific URLs. The structure of a paired AMP URL is not important, whether using a query parameter or path suffix. The use of a query parameter is the most compatible across various sites and it has the benefit of not resulting in a 404 if the AMP plugin is deactivated. Note: Changing the paired URL structure can cause AMP pages to temporarily disappear from search results until your site is re-indexed. If you’re migrating from another AMP plugin with a different paired URL structure, then you may want to change this setting. Otherwise we recommend leaving it as is. Learn more

There are one or more entities that are already using the “amp” URL slug. For this reason, you cannot currently use the path suffix or legacy reader paired URL structures. See below for the source of the slug conflict(s):

Tag: AMP (ID: 9265)
Query parameter: ?amp=1 (default)
Path suffix: /amp/ (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)
Legacy transitional: ?amp
Legacy reader: /amp/ & ?amp (unavailable due to slug conflict per above)

Redirect mobile visitors to AMP

Enable Developer Tools
Enable AMP developer tools to surface validation errors when editing posts and viewing the site.

This is a per-user setting. It presumes you have some experience coding with HTML, CSS, JS, and PHP. Once enabled you will have access to Validated URLs and Error Index in the admin menu, the Validate URL item in the admin bar, and the AMP Validation sidebar in the editor.

Use native HTML image tag
The native HTML can now be used instead of the AMP-specific <amp-img> tag. AMP no longer requires the latter because lazy-loading is now a feature of the Web platform. Using native images can further improve page performance, although not all AMP components have been updated to work with them (see example). If you have CSS that is specifically targeting <amp-img> tags, you will need to update them to target instead (which can be done by default since such tags are automatically rewritten in CSS selectors when conversions are done).

Delete plugin data at uninstall
When you uninstall the plugin you have the choice of whether its data should also be deleted. Examples of plugin data include the settings, validated URLs, and transients used to store image dimensions and parsed stylesheets.

Hello @eCronik!

If you set the post format to video and insert a featured image and also a video, then you can use the single cloud template, edit it with the tagdiv composer, and add this element in order to display the featured image: https://prnt.sc/nPXcLFdMaZgs

Thank you!

Hello @michaeldef!

I recommend you use a cloud template instead of default templates, so you can edit the pages with the Tagdiv Composer, and it is more customizable and easy to use.
The default templates have only a few settings in the theme panel. You can disable the sidebar and change the page format in the Gutenberg editor.

Thank you!

I will set up a filter in CloudFlare.

What is the exact format of all those files to exclude so we don’t have to guess or wait until Google has already indexed them and hurt our score?

Bettina

Hello!

All the templates were cloud templates made by Composer?
Maybe you can install them again from the Cloud Library.

Thank you!

Hi, thank you for your reply. I use a text type custom field that contains an iFrame code from Simplecast to display the Simplecast player above my posts (the box is inserted in a Newspaper post cloud template).

See example in newspaper version 12.3 here:

https://azeletmegminden.hu/058-szonyi-ferenc-podcast/

It has worked all right in previous Newspaper versions including 12.3: the Simplecast player displays in full width of the custom field block on the page.

When I update to Newspaper version 12.3.1 the iframe player’s width gets limited to like 300px, although the custom field box is set to auto-width.

Here is an example for the iframe code:

<iframe height=”200px” width=”100%” frameborder=”no” scrolling=”no” seamless src=”https://player.simplecast.com/2c8e6266-1122-4b6b-be35-804b9ea12080?dark=false”></iframe&gt;

Hello,

We celebrated Easter, and the support time was reduced these days.
Can you please provide a link to your website? If you have header/footer from Theme Panel, you can find cloud templates like that in the cloud library -> https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/All
For the homepage, if you use flex blocks, it is ok, but if you have blocks 1-25, then please change them to flex Blocks.
Also, do you want to migrate the website or only change to using cloud templates?

Thank you!

Hello,

I think that I know what the problem is, please edit the cloud template with tagDiv Composer -> https://i.imgur.com/j8YvKks.png click on the block and remove the offset -> https://i.imgur.com/dJ0iFQu.png let that field empty.

Thank you!

Hello,
I will try to explain it more clearly.
The theme uses the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin that brings options in the theme panel for the standard templates (old, they cannot be edited in the frontend, only using the on/off options in the theme panel).
As I said, if you use a standard template, then the elements can be edited from the theme panel, and if cloud templates are used, then they can be edited on the frontend with tagDiv Composer.

“The third is “Post → Block → Advanced → Additional CSS Classes
Tell me how to use” Please tell me more precisely
It’s hard to understand in writing”
Please try this guide – https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/adding-additional-css-classes-to-blocks/

Thank you!

Hello,
If you use a standard template, then you can use the option in the theme panel to deactivate view count –
If you use a single post template from the tagDiv Cloud Library, then it must be edited with tagDiv Composer, select the single post view count element and use the right click on this item to delete it – https://i.imgur.com/VIiWBF8.pnghttps://i.imgur.com/jsKBvhK.png
Thank you!

Hello Jos,

The Newspaper theme is not compatible with the Elementor, our theme has its, own page builder.
To change the menu please check this guide
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/
for the homepage, you can edit as you want with tagDiv Composer-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
The tagDiv Composer is our page builder and it can be used for building pages and cloud templates, but not for creating posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to already have the posts.
Also, on our channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you and documentation https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/ and you can ask us here on the forum or email if you have any question

Thank you!

Hi Anamaria,

Just an update; I have tried everything possible at my end and namecheap’s support has tried all the options from reinstalling, backups, flushing server level cache, removing from cloudflare, bypassing cache and what not but couldn’t achieve what we wanted to.

They are very much certain that there is something messed up within the setting of the theme. Please suggest what needs to be checked and fixed.

Hello, TagDiv team!

Yesterday, I wanted to use one of the test post templates I had made a few months ago, from Post Settings/Post Templates.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/0xih4kx8rmr63gx/TagDiv%20Single%20Post%20Templates%203.png?dl=0

But when I wanted to use them, they didn’t display in the post. But the ones we actively used were displayed.

So I went to Newspaper’s Theme Panel, and there I found the same templates. I assigned one to a category, to test, and nothing happened.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/kebv0m1qswnfuhd/TagDiv%20Single%20Post%20Templates%201.png?dl=0

Then, I went to Cloud Templates, and only the ones we actively use are displayed, but the others are gone. And I never deleted them.
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7rxwc5b0oljw7d6/TagDiv%20Single%20Post%20Templates%202.png?dl=0

So…

1. Is it likely to recover those test templates (ideally)?

2. If not possible, how can I delete them from Post Settings and Theme Panel, to try again from scratch?

Thank you very much!

Thanks!

And do I have it correct that for each site that I want to use cloud library I need to have a new key. Yes?

There is no whitespace when editing the header cloud template. Only when saving and then refreshing. I will make a video for you to see

nycinsider

There’s no “empty column” to the right in the cloud template. You are clearly starting from something different than what’s in your library.

Hi,

I already did the step you mention earlier and its not working. The issue still persist. When I assign a cloud template for a CPT or taxonomy and set an individual header & footer, it still show the global header and footer for that template. Is it any way to fix this?

Hi, before newspaper 12, I had made footer, header, homepage via pages as there was no cloud template section on dashboard. Now after newspaper 12, we have this option, so I want to shift my existing design to this section. How can I do it so that if I want to edit any of the design I can edit directly from cloud template instead of searching in pages section for individual designs?

Hello,

If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it.
Please make a full backup to all files and database => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA
Here you can find information about the changes that have occurred in each update over time https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Also, if you want, you can contact our custom work team here and they can help you to update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/

Please note that we don’t recommend you use WP Bakery anymore since there can be conflicts between TagDiv Composer and WP Bakery; also WP Bakery can’t edit the tagDiv Composer templates. You can use the cloud library and directly import a homepage template if you want: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/

Hope this help you!

Thank you!
