Hello,
Please provide the link to your website.
Using our theme you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
If you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer, then when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
So, the mobile responsive is what you see then that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin not.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activate and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activate.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hello,
I recommend using flex blocks, and flex builder blocks instead of blocks 1-25 https://tagdiv.com/why-tagdiv-cloud-library-is-a-better-alternative-to-the-standard-pack
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/big-grid-flex-settings/
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
one more query there is no post loop 2 block for the News Hub pro template in the cloud block, only post loop is available.
After spending some time checking all the cloud templates I then found this toggle button in the theme panel was turned on. It has now fixed the flex blocks that have the correct settings on the page templates.
This is now solved.
Hi karemfouad, I moved this topic from Newsmag to Newspaper because it appears that the theme you are using is Newspaper.
1. The tagDiv Optin builder is already activated and updated – https://i.imgur.com/ostWkQA.png there is only a problem with the plugin version, the version should be 1.6.1 and because it is 1.6,1 the update button is all the time display.
2. Since you are using the Newspaper theme you’ll need to add the ads using tagDiv Composer on pages and cloud templates, please check our guide from here – https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/ -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biTpVVlr8j8
3. If you want to hide it only on mobile please use tagDiv Composer, edit the single post template and select the author box, the hide it on each view port. There is an option that displays hidden elements, like in your screenshot. Please activate it from the website manager https://i.imgur.com/4sPQZ2U.png – https://prnt.sc/yhtJPDWeozed It may be needed to refresh the page in the composer after activating it. Please try it. Also, the hide option should be set on each viewport – https://i.imgur.com/p5dMrnt.png
4. To have the same content on mobile as on desktop then please disable the tagDiv Mobile theme plugin.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can use the flex blocks and set on them what category of posts you want to show, and then this block will display the same posts for all categories; if you set the special filter for the current category, which dynamically displays the posts from that category within each category https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
The Posts Loop automatically filters the posts depending on the cloud template you set (for example, on the category page, there will be posted posts from that category) https://forum.tagdiv.com/posts-loop/
Thank you!
Hello @Jabed !
Ok. Please follow the steps:
1. Go to the Cloud Templates and duplicate the category template: https://app.screencast.com/BNzUFeC6LowNM
2. Rename the duplicated template with the name of the category you wish to assign. https://app.screencast.com/xYkkdBFTeIF88
3. You can edit with the tagdiv composer each template to change it and add the elements you need for each category: https://app.screencast.com/GBXyRRA5lZMGH
4. You should assign them. So, the simple way is to go to the theme panel settings: https://app.screencast.com/mpuweTKi1QfH2
You can see that the Early Middle Ages category has a special template assigned. You can do the same for your posts. Also, you can view each category page and assign the template from here: https://app.screencast.com/mLGsvgRnfMmjs
I hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
1. The images are the featured images of the posts. Create a custom module with the help of the module templates: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/
For example: https://app.screencast.com/F2RMbiqUiUJlo -> in flex block builder should look like this for every article: https://app.screencast.com/G6hHCQdZzUU00
2. You can filter the post IDs, and they will never change, and the block will always display the same posts. https://app.screencast.com/U4xdUp5oerbLF
3. Only if you will use cloud templates and not the default templates from Learndash.
4. This feature is useful when you do not want to display the same article on that page. The settings can be found in Gutenberg -> Post Settings(scroll down to see it) when you edit the page.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please note that if you use cloud templates, then you should choose the font for each element in the tagdiv Composer.
Check this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/font-customization/
Thank you!
Hi,
I’m not talking about the functionality. I believe the functionality is working 100%
My only concern is, the tagDiv Cloud Library plugin is adding this columns with does not have any correlation with my custom taxonomies: https://i.imgur.com/jKmDpeO.png
Please allow user to disable this behavior.
Thanks,
Hi,
Please compare between TagDiv Cloud Library plugin active and deactivated.
You will see when it’s active, there is a color and image box. This is a bug.
Thanks,
Hi,
What is the issue there -> https://i.imgur.com/CJcoYHa.png?
Please provide more details about why it is not as you expected. You can create cloud template for each taxonomy in the cloud template -> cpts/taxonomies -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/introduction-cpt-acf-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
Hello @Jabed !
Because you use the same category template. You can duplicate the template in order to make it different or assign manually other template than the global one. https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Thank you!
Hello,
Please let me know how you created the taxonomies and what issue you have. The tagdiv cloud library works with the taxonomies.
Thank you!
I think you missed my point. The Tag Div Cloud library is affecting all custom taxonomies. It’s not about the plugin compatibility, it’s about affecting all custom taxonomies.
Could you please report it to your dev?
Thanks,
Hi urishtaujjain, those are links from the theme that are loading the theme css. I believe that you receive some recommendation to optimize those links, right? This can be done using an optimization plugin, most of the time is a cache plugin that provide this functionality (use the options for minify the css and cache browser). Also you can use a Cloudflare (CDN) to improve better the speed and security – https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Thank you!
Hi guys,
When TagDiv Cloud Library plugin active, it messing up with Authors taxonomies from PublishPress Authors.
To replicate:
1. Install PublishPress Authors (https://wordpress.org/plugins/publishpress-authors/)
2. Instal TagDiv Cloud Library plugin
3. Navigate to Authors menu.
It will show like this: https://i.imgur.com/KLQPXKM.png
When you deactivate TagDiv Cloud Library, it shows normal: https://i.imgur.com/nqZz0OT.png
It’s not only affecting PublishPress Authors, but it affecting custom taxonomies in general.
Try to create custom taxonomies and it will show similar.
Is this known issue?
Hello,
Please delete the tagdiv cloud library plugin, and after installing it from Newspaper -> plugins.
Thank you!
I recently updated newspaper theme, after installing the new version of WP 6.6.1. Now my site is completely broke, and don’t know where to start.
The Jetpack vault backup, doesn’t work automatically and i don’t know what to do.
I updated the Composer, but wasn’t able to update the cloud library plugin, as it says that is already on the server a folder with same name, but i can’t find the Plugin in the WP Section, to try a delete and reinstallation as suggested by the settings page of Newspaper them.
please help!
Hi Bettina,
Thank you for your reply. It looks ok in the tagdiv composer. I do not have any plugins installed except for yoast, wp-rocket and cloudflare. If I deactivate the cache plugin, it will slow down my site. Any workaround here? I’m getting crazy trying to fix it. Thank you so much for your help.
Hello!
Sure. By using cloud templates, you can have also different headers. One could be global and another one could be assigned manually on the templates you need. See https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/different-logo-in-categorypage/ for more information.
Thank you!
Hello,
You need to set here the post type name, i.e. post_tag https://i.imgur.com/aYPfAVG.png, and it will show the tags.
You can create the modules in the tab Cloud Library -> Modules -> please check the guide https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/
Thank you!
And what do I do after I’ve created the module? I can’t find it in the cloud library or a place to save it anywhere
Hello!
I recommend using cloud templates. You can build a sidebar with the TagDiv Composer. Steps:
1. Insert one new row (or delete an existing one).
2. Divide into two columns (2/3 + 1/3).
3. You can add whatever element you want from the tagdiv Composer to the second column and consider it a sidebar
If you have an extra shortcode or a code you can use the elemnts called column text or raw html.
A shortcode can be inserted also by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. “Column text” and “text with title” elements have a button called “edit content” and if you click on that button, the WP Editor will open, and you can add some text/code/shortcode there. Close the WP Editor from X, save the changes from Composer and view the page to see the changes.
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
For the question 2, some blocks can be made with the custom modules: https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/ but the complex ones, you need some extra custom code. Or if you have the blocks already made with an extra plugin, then you can add it there as I explained above. Please take care of a plugin conflict.
For customization and other services, you can contact our custom work team here: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/, and they can find a solution for your needs.
Thank you!
Hi,
The cloud templates are custom post types, and these can be an index or not, therefore you can use Yoast SEO to control the SEO for cloud templates, for example https://i.imgur.com/6BRLmIs.png after that you need to reindex your website on Google (or you can reindex only that link).
Thank you!
