I have investigated a little bit and if I change block-type to anything else in composer it works. But I like the block type 1 and I would want to use that but I don’t know why the text is behind the thumbnail when I’m surfing my site with my phone. On desktop everything is fine.

I can’t seem to make head nor tail of tagDiv Composer… I understand you’re supposed to be able to create full width rows using it, but for some reason I can’t get it to work properly. I’ve tried the different ‘stretch row’ settings, but it won’t stretch beyond the width of the site. I thought I’d try WPBakery, but I get the same result – I can set the setting, but it doesn’t make a difference in the Composer view or on the live pages. The only way I can get a full width row, is via the Gutenberg Blocks Builder, using a plugin.
I did manage to create a full width footer page, which I’ve set via the Theme panel. The only way I could get this to work as full width, was to import and customise one of the footer templates. It shows as full width on pages, but still doesn’t show as full width in tagDiv Composer. Not a problem, as long as it displays correctly. However, as of yesterday, the sub-footer (1 row, 2 columns, aligned left and right) is now displaying as 2 rows stacked – it’s overriding the .td-pb-span6 (50%) setting. I looked at the footer page in tagDiv Composer yesterday (when trying to replicate the stretch settings), but didn’t change anything or re-save it. The footer/sub-footer display correctly in composer, so have no idea why it’s showing as broken on all pages…except one.
I tried re-saving the footer page (without making any changes), but that hasn’t made any difference and I can’t see anything special about the one page where the sub-footer is showing correctly – even the sample page which came with the theme and that I haven’t touch, is showing the broken sub-footer now. To confuse things further, having re-saved the footer page and it making no difference to existing pages, I created a new page in tagDiv Composer (just a client, inline text and a couple of empty space elements), just to see the result. NOW the sub-footer in Composer is broken, but displays fine on the actual page…
What’s going on?? 🙁 Unfortunately I can’t share a live link, as I’m working locally, but if you tell me what info you need, I should be able to find it and report back/provide a screen grab.

Do you have an ETA (I mean, estimated time of arrival) of a full compatibility or does the rise of TagDiv Composer’s development compromise the maintenance of some compatibility between the two in the future?
Still, in the meantime, I prefer not to update my other sites!

Hi,
There were some fix made for a better compatibility between those two builders, but in the last version ( Newspaper v9.8 ) is better to use only one, so if you want to use tagDiv Composer, do not activate the WP Bakery, if you want to use the WP Bakery let the TagDiv Composer activate only for the theme functionality, a mix between those two can provide some errors.

I’ve tried debugging it and if i turn off the tagDiv Cloud Library it’s back on line (without the composer elements i’ve used from the library).
The requirement are ok.
I have the latest php version.
I’ve already sent you an email and i’m opening this topic ’cause maybe can help other peoples with the same problem.

Hi! I administrate 5 sites under Newspaper (and intend to build 2 in very near future) but I encoutered some annoying issues recently with a 9.7.2 version (I think you remember 🙂 and thanks again for your help!) and I’m bit anxious about updating all my sites and well… buying new licences.
Can you tell me if these issues have been resolved now with 9.8 and by providing a more recent version of WPBakery Page Builder?
– As soon as I used (the really great) Header Composer, all pages structure created with WPBakery were messy. And I’ve been obliged to recreate all my pages using TagDiv Composer (wich doesn’t always fits my needs, yet). So my question is… can I without any problem now mix TagDiv Header composer’s headers with Page Builder’s content components?
– corollary problem: does the issue appearing in a two menus header, were first sub-menus appearing “under” the second menu (letting sub-menus unclickable) is now resolved without needing to add custom CSS?

2. Just make sure that you set the full image not a thumb http://prntscr.com/ooxck1 also the space that you want to cover are fit with the image size.

What you want is achieveable using the tagdiv Composer.
You will have to go into dashboard and create a new blank page. Edit it using the tagDiv Composer: https://www.screencast.com/t/oSKMbLEq15hW

After that I have added the List element. The only downside is that you will have to insert the link using html tags. In order to have more list menus you can use the duplicate tool pointed out in this picture: https://www.screencast.com/t/dT7T9bqSUB

Please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict with untested plugins, please deactivate all non theme/tested plugins, also if you are using child theme, clear all cache and try again.

Only the admin and editor have the access to edit the cloud templates, the rest of them have only access to see the cloud templates, the changes that the made will not be save, you can test this to see how is act the tagDiv Composer when you try to edit with a lower role .

It should work fine regardless of the header used. What exactly is the problem with it? Let me know.
3. By default there is a limit in the mega-menu, I believe of 30 sub-categories. For default header templates it can only be changed in the theme code. The default header templates also don’t have layout options.
However using cloud header templates the limit can be set custom – https://prnt.sc/ooicje

When using a cloud header template, you can design the desktop and mobile headers, and their sticky versions as well – https://forum.tagdiv.com/header-styles/
Simply edit the header with the composer – https://prnt.sc/ooh1e1
Activate the sticky mode in the composer to see what elements it contains
– https://prnt.sc/ooh1ua
Then click on the elements you want to modify, or remove them all. If they are all removed the header won’t have a sticky mode.
Do the same for the mobile sticky header – https://prnt.sc/ooh2e1

So if the code is set in functions it is possible to call a function using tagdiv composer that checks the subcategory and calls the right shortcode?
I’m not sure if I can do it using tagDiv Composer alone. Every subcategory will need a different shortcode behind the button. So I imagine if I use tagDiv Composer I would need to build a different template for each subcategory? I have a lot of them, so later if I want to change something small I have to change all the different templates. Or is there another way that’s better?

That depend if the code is set in functions, not in the file for cloud templates, then the tagDiv Composer should still work on that template, but if is edit the cloud files or composer files then is very possible that when you try to edit it to give some errors and crush.
But why not add the button using tagDiv Composer, you can not achieve what you need?
