Hi,
Indeed there are some problems using the child them and WPBakery,
Please check this topic for child theme -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/website-broke-after-update/
The reason for doing it was because users who wanted to use for example single images in WPBakery, couldn’t because the tagDiv composer affected the single images functionality.
So now when WPBakery is active and users wish to use it bot thre are still some problems, some elements will not be part of the composer, to prevent conflicts. If a different solution is found, this may change however.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Hi,
You mean that the page builder buttons are not appearing in the page edit screen?
That would be unusual. If the plugins are active the buttons should be there, both WPBakery and the tagDiv composer. Please check if the theme requirements are met as a first step
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
If they are, we could take a closer look. Send us the website URL and admin login at contact@tagdiv.com, also include a link to this topic in the email. Let us know.
Thanks
I re testes the update and delete the plugin and re installed it. It doesn’t work at all.. Tagdiv composer seems to make a mess…
Hey guys,

4) changed wp-config
5) added a new page
Hey I have problem with the comment section.
We added the comments block ( Single Post Comments ) from the Cloud Template with tagDiv composer builder on our posts page. When we go incognito on an article and post a comment it says “Your comment is awaiting moderation” with the comment below it. The thing that is wierd is that it displays for everyone that visit the post, even when clearing the cookies or going in another private window.
We tested it on our homepage which does not use the tagDiv composer and the “Your comment is awaiting moderation” is only visible to the person that posted it and will be visible only if it is approved in the admin.
Do you guys have records of a similar problem ?
Thank you !
Hi,
1. Using the News ticker you have those filers -> https://www.screencast.com/t/y8ccwXaQ1K you can find more about the filter in this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-guide/ please make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict.
Also for 7 days sort please check this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/7-days-post-sorting/
2. Unfortunately this is the single News ticker we have is the one from tagDiv Composer.
3. Please check our documentation for reviews from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
4. I do not quite understand on what gadget score you are referring, if you are referring to this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1u7vy3f9Q or this -> https://www.screencast.com/t/anFtsPuoWu please check this documentation -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/reviews-2/
5. Please check our documentation for how to Login – How to enable the user registration
-> https://forum.tagdiv.com/login-how-to-enable-user-registration/
6. Our theme have an author page that describe the author and show the post that are publish by the selected author, but we do not have a page will all authors, but you can create one using tagDiv Composer ( team members elements ) also you can use author box.
7. This maybe a temporary problem to our serve, not this should be working normally.
Also please make sure that all the settings are as in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully
– https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-requirements/
and please increase all requirements that are lower, and follow all steps.
Thank you!
Hi Simion, thank you for the reply. I’ve solve my problem by editing loop-single.php in td composer plugin
Hi,
The safe way to set some blocks in a post template is to use tagDiv Composer and a single post template from tagDiv Cloud library.
Also those blocks are from tagDiv Composer if this is not activate is possible that those blocks to have a different layout.
Also you can check the documentation for unique articles here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/unique-articles/
Thank you for your understanding!
Hi,
1. The cloud library post template don’t have PHP files, these can be created in the composer like a page for example. So they don’t follow a predefined code structure like the default post templates do. The predefined templates can’t be edited with the composer, only in their PHP files.
The loop files of the predefined templates are in the tagDiv composer plugin, you could modify them there, just follow the highlighted directory path – https://prnt.sc/nvedxl
2. One loop single file remained in the theme folder, the default post template. But this will apply only if the tagDiv composer is not active, as a temporary post template basically, before the composer is activated. The actual post template default file is in the composer as well – http://prntscr.com/nvv7fi
So basically if you want to modify the predefined post template, you could do it in the composer plugin. Edit the template you want and modify it as you want.
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
You need to edit that page with tagDiv Composer click on block that have the read/load more and change the accent hover color -> https://www.screencast.com/t/v3f7yduBIXca
Thank you!
Hi,
Most of the theme files were moved into the tagdiv composer plugin as per the requirements of envato: https://help.author.envato.com/hc/en-us/articles/360000472383-WordPress-Theme-Requirements.
We wrote an article on the subject here: https://tagdiv.com/updating-the-core-of-tagdiv-themes/
Moving forward with such requirements, a child theme will only work with functions.php, and style.css as there are very few files left in the main theme as envato requires all functionality to be added through plugins.
If you are using child theme, you need to replace the child theme that you are using with the one that came with Newspaper v9.7.3, or you can edit the functions.php from 1001 to 11 and it should work: https://image.prntscr.com/image/LJgOPaseQeWx88hn-pSKGQ.png just make sure that you clear all cache after you make those changes.
Thank you!
Hi,
The elements from tagDiv Composer can be use only with tagDiv Composer, those can not be set in widget, sorry!
You can get the Newspaper v9.6.1 from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/important-new-update-newspaper-9-7/
Thank you!
Hi,
You could do that, the post template files are now here – http://prntscr.com/nvui9l
The cloud post templates can be modified in the composer, and the featured image can be changed if needed – http://prntscr.com/nvujaw
You can modify the templates that you import, or design your own using the blank single template.
Thanks
Hi,
Now the mobile files was moved in td composer plugin, the file can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/front-page.php
Thank you!
hi,
For this you will need to modify the code ( change the social position ), here you can find the code wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_social_icons.php -> https://www.screencast.com/t/pcNkcE82AD
Thank you!
Hi,
1. Yes the child theme is still supported but only for those two files ( functions.php, style.css ).
2. If you make changes in theme files or tagDiv Composer plugin files you need to do those changes manually after each updates, if you chose to use tagdiv Composer you can modelate the templates as you want and the changes will not be removed after theme update.
What is the Cloud Library and How You Should Use It? -> https://tagdiv.com/what-is-the-cloud-library/
3. Unfortunately only changes in functions.php and style.css will be supported.
4. If you are not using the child theme that comes in Newspaper theme v9.7.3 and you are using a child from a prev version, you need to make that change,
5. We are working to a new documentation with more details about how to use our theme, hope this will be finished soon.
Thank you!
Hi,
That can be done. When WPML is active there will be an option to translate pages
– http://prntscr.com/nvrqqb
So you can create pages in each language, with the tagDiv composer, and they will be switched when needed (when visitors use the language switcher usually).
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
Hi,
It won’t adapt automatically, you have to make the flex block adapt. So for example while flex block 1 displays 3 modules per row on desktop (which looks properly) – http://prntscr.com/nvrgul
On mobile it will display the same 3 modules per row (which doesn’t look alright)
So you should set the block to display 1 module per row on mobile
– http://prntscr.com/nvrhhi
Most of the setting are per device (viewport) including the number of modules per row.
While working with flex blocks in the composer, keep switching viewports to see how the result looks on other devices.
If you have more questions let me know.
Thanks
I can’t say what will happen exactly, at the moment. This may change in the next theme update.
The reason for doing it was because users who wanted to use for example single images in WPBakery, couldn’t because the tagDiv composer affected the single images functionality.
So now when WPBakery is active and users wish to use it, some elements will not be part of the composer, to prevent conflicts. If a different solution is found, this may change however.
Hello !
You can edit the spacing on homepage using the tagDiv Composer and editing the block’s css like here: https://www.screencast.com/t/x3MeHnAI
Thank you !

Hi,
I see it, seems to be a delay before the CSS applies, with a visible effect on the page loading. Do you use any dedicated minification plugins, or caching plugins that have settings for minification? If you do, try to temporarily deactivate/disable them to see if this has any effect.
Also do you plan to use WPBakery? You could disable this plugin and use the tagDiv composer. Because there could be various conflicts between the two when they are both active.
Thanks

If you want to edit the header-style-10.php you need to go in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/header-style-10.php and the singles can be found in wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/single/loop-single-1.php
Hope this will help you!
Thanks.
Hi,
The file where that modification would have to be made is now in the composer plugin, after the latest updates – http://prntscr.com/nvq8hw
You could however use a cloud tag template, in it you can choose if you want additional text besides the actual tag name – https://cloud.tagdiv.com/#/load/Tag
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-cloud-library-plugin/
Thanks
Hello,
I’m having a problem like this. I have an article, and I want to add a block to my article but don’t want to use page builder with TagDiv Composer. So I added the following shortcode to my article: “[td_block_7 limit =" 10 "category_id =" 48 "ajax_pagination =" load_more "]“. It was great that it worked well. However, it seems that its format is not the same as when I used a page builder. When I use the page builder, the posts on my block are divided into two columns, but when I paste the shortcode in my article, I don’t use page builder, there is only 1 column left. See the attached image below.
https://prnt.sc/nvpblx
Can you help me divide it into two columns as I use the page builder?
Besides, I had a solution that I created a 2-column table in my article. Then I pasted two blocks into the two columns of that table.
https://prnt.sc/nvp82p
However, there is a problem. The content of 2 columns is duplicated. I remember that Newspaper had a setting to avoid duplicating the content between blocks on 1 page, but I couldn’t remember where it was. Could you please help me?
Thank you.
