Hello,
As the title says, I want to migrate from ACF (due to the obvious drama with WP) to Jet Engine. Is the theme compatible with other custom fields besides ACF? I’ve noticed that within the tagdiv composer, ACF is mainly supported. I haven’t purchased Jet Engine yet, I really like my WP theme and I don’t want to migrate away from it.
Is this doable within the composer? Is it compatible in any way?
Hello Mark!
Please edit that page with the tagdiv Composer, select the row, and check in the CSS tab where you have padding left and right. Please delete those values, save the settings, and try again.
Thank you!
Hi,
For mobile please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/ delete the text or svg code and insert your logo.
Thank you!
Hello!
Your homepage currently has 2 H1s because the logo is also in your footer. You can disable the H1s from the tagdiv Composer. Scroll until you reach the footer, click on the logo, and disable the H1.
Thank you!
First of all thank you Calin for helping and guiding me. I am attaching some images to you which I have named step by step and have tried to show you some issues in them.
https://we.tl/t-2dBWGFqVKZ
As far as I understand these 4 are important files for the theme and my website also
For CSS
1.https://mahakaltimes.com/wp-content/themes/Newsmag/style.css?ver=5.4.3.1
2.https://mahakaltimes.com/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/assets/css/td_legacy_main.css?ver=e5fcc38395b0030bac3ad179898970d6x

Calin I need your help for unused css and javascript. I have tried a lot but I am not able to get the actual unused css and js out. I also tried to get it out by going to Google Chrome DevTools Coverage and implemented it. My website is completely breaking. I have also used some website like PurgeCSS, UnCSS Online, CSS-Remove, PageSpeed Insights. Some plugins like Asset CleanUp and many more. So can you please provide me the unused CSS or JS for my website which is not being used so that my problem will be solved or you have any other option which can help me to solve this problem?
Hello!
Sure. You can have two headers: one global template (without the ad) and one template for the homepage(with the ad included). You can also add the ad under the header in the content zone, and the ad will display only on the homepage and not on the other pages.
Please note that this is possible only when using the recommended cloud templates.
We recommend using cloud/PRO templates to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features; please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Thank you!
Hello!
In the cloud templates, you can add the ads when you edit the post with TagDiv Composer in the element called “Single Post Content” in the tab ADS. Documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/article-ads/
Or you can use the element called “Ad Box” from TagDiv Composer, and there you need to add the ads: https://forum.tagdiv.com/ads-adsense-overview/
Thank you!
Hello Mark!
A workaround could be to add any other elements in the white space in the tablet viewport in the tagdiv Composer. Then, hide it on other viewports and make it visible only where you need it. Each element has the option to hide it in the CSS tab: https://prnt.sc/1FJiMub9ke4s
Or change the structure of your elements from that row.
Thank you!
Hello,
All the changes that you need to do are using the tagdiv Composer.
1. Please install and activate the tagdiv Opt-in Builder plugin to have the section with subscribe. You can use the lead element that is in the page, but with this you can only collect emails; If you use the lead element, this will be added in Opt-In Builder -> Emails.
In the newsletter provided by our theme, you can use embed code from Mailchimp, Mailer Lite or FeedBurner -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/ Please check if it is like this -> https://i.imgur.com/MaowNUz.png
If you want to use another newsletter, you can set the code in column text or text with title => https://www.screencast.com/t/N6rPZvAa The shortcode/code is automatically saved.
2. Those are taxonomies, so you to edit the template here https://i.imgur.com/Pghu7B4.png
3. The icons are custom fields https://i.imgur.com/fWqLlSV.png ->https://i.imgur.com/NPhnGP8.png, so please edit the taxonomies services and check if there are icons https://i.imgur.com/uy9Ka3h.png
4. You need to edit with tagdiv Composer, select the social icons and set there the links https://i.imgur.com/Oe836sk.png
Please make sure the links contain the https://www.
5. You need to edit with tagdiv Composer, and on the row is set the background image -> https://i.imgur.com/gblv4ND.png -> https://i.imgur.com/pFPnzIR.png
6. You have the mobile theme plugin activated; please deactivate it.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
So, if you want to design the pages with tagDiv Composer, you can use the mobile page or mobile responsive version.
Thank you!
Hello,
So, should I understand that you did an update and your categories were deleted, or did you update and install a prebuilt website, and that’s when the problem appeared?
So, if you had a prebuilt website with content and organized the posts based on the imported categories, then when you installed a new prebuilt website, those categories were deleted. Therefore, you need to import only the templates, not an entire prebuilt website. Also, depending on your prebuilt website, you will need to edit the header template with tagDiv Composer and set a menu https://forum.tagdiv.com/main-menu/. Additionally, you will need to edit the page with tagDiv Composer, filter the blocks by your categories, and edit the titles-> https://i.imgur.com/cf4HzI4.jpeg -> https://i.imgur.com/izT4Q8q.jpeg https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
Thank you!
Hello,
Unfortunately, our tagDiv team doesn’t have an employee named Carlos. From what I see there, that person has installed some malware plugins on your site, so you’ll need to manually clean the site. For example, you should delete plugins with strange or unknown names, remove any users you don’t recognize, and clean any suspicious code files, both in the theme and WordPress.
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
Thank you!
Hello,
You have a cloud header template, so you need to edit with tagDiv Composer, select the logo and in each viewport you can change the font size -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/ https://i.imgur.com/5ic5cq3.png
Thank you!

Hello,
You have a header template from Cloud Library, then you need to edit with tagDiv Composer https://www.screencast.com/t/Y5j6ArY8Ug, select the logo and set there the image, make sure that is set to show and delete the logo text or SVG code-> https://imgur.com/ve11Fwt -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Thank you!
Hi salvadoroymejia,
You can edit the file using the plugin editor, select the tagDiv plugin and go on this path – wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/page-pagebuilder-latest.php then just change all elements with h4 > span, div or other tag you want to use -https://i.imgur.com/k8gmxus.png (the element is set 3 times, for left, right and no sidebar).
Thanks
Hi and thanks for your answer and that is terrible news because that limits what I want to do with my site. So, I switcehd to PODS and this works fantastic but tagdiv’s Newspaper theme is preventing me to apply basic things such as sorting on date.
My goal is to display custom song entries on a page and have them sorted by release date, from newest to oldest. However, I’ve encountered several issues trying to get this to work properly within the theme’s constraints.
I have a custom post type for songs, and I’m using a PODS template to output the data. I want to order the songs by release date in the template itself. However, any shortcode-based sorting or manipulation with the orderby parameter doesn’t seem to work with this theme. It appears that the theme’s Td Composer framework conflicts with typical shortcode functionality, especially for things like orderby. To avoid further issues, I’ve switched to using the “Single External Shortcode” method, but I’m still unable to apply ordering directly in the PODS template itself.
Is there a way to enforce the sorting (new to old) directly within the PODS template without relying on shortcodes? I have tried both {@post_date} and {@release_date}, but without success. Any suggestions or workarounds that you can provide would be extremely helpful, especially considering the limitations posed by the TagDiv Newspaper theme.
I’ve already enabled magic tags in shortcodes by adding define(‘PODS_SHORTCODE_ALLOW_EVALUATE_TAGS’, true); to my wp-config.php, which helped with other functionality, but this sorting issue persists.
Thanks in advance
Ok i got where it is picking my homepage and it is HERE: https://ibb.co/31v0QKs
How can i tell him to ignore the layout i see here in the wordpress appearance menù and consider instead my Mobile composer homepage?
Also , how can I edit the blog single page and blog category via TagDiv Composer ?
Because I want to move and edit the background of those pages but I can’t find blog page how to edit it?
I want to remove the momentum logos in the background
hi, I have used various plugins for photo galleries and when I activate the ajax option for pagination they do not work, both nextgen and envira
You can see an example of the problem on this page
https://www.ildossier.it/test2/
when you move from one page to another in the gallery the thumbs are no longer displayed, if I deactivate ajax in the gallery it works (but reloading the entire page), the compatibility problem is with the “tagDiv Composer” plugin, if I deactivate this the gallery works but obviously the site loses all the graphic settings.
How can I do it?
Thanks
Hi,
Anyhow I manage to get the exact demo , like – in my main site but however, the links are not working
https://www.arozuntech.com/about-page-momentum-pro/
https://www.arozuntech.com/category/blog/
https://www.arozuntech.com/case-studies/
And when I try click TAGDIV composer to edit the page its just loading the saving button and never ends
and also this while importing pages
Also, if I copy the code and try to setup a new page its not allowing me to publish , just like this never ending

I have figured out one of these problems — the not being able to save anything. I had to go back to PHP 7.4 (down from 8.1). I can now save things.
BUT…my malware program has flagged these files (list below) from your TD Composer as MALWARE.

Hello,
You can use this code @media screen and (max-width: 1540px) and (min-width: 1141px) {
.tdc-row.stretch_row_1400, .tdc-row-composer.stretch_row_1400 {
width: auto !important;
max-width: 1116px;
}
}
Set the code in Theme Panel – Custom code – custom CSS.
Thank you!
Hi team,
After switching to 12.6.8 – our categories have completely barfed (they worked under 12.6.6). While the big grid still works a treat, and so does our sidebar, the two columns are all over the shop. Here’s a link: https://www.exhaustnotes.com.au/motoring-news/
I’m happy to go back to 12.6.6 if need be, to make stuff work properly, but a fix would be great. I’ve tried the usual things already, including flushing the caches for WP Rocket, and both our SiteGround caches, but to no avail. I even tried re-opening the design in Composer and saving it again, just in case that fixed it, but again, to no avail.
I’ll hold off updating our second site (on its own licence), to beyond .6 for now, until this is resolved.
Hello,
This is a page menu, i.e. there is a page where are added more menus, button and assigned to the menu https://forum.tagdiv.com/page-menu/
So, you need to create a new page, edit it in the Gutenberg editor and paste the code there https://pastebin.com/DjuCYBtU -> https://i.imgur.com/4Xr3qHS.png after edit with tagdiv Composer, to set your list menus https://i.imgur.com/UvWxayv.png.
Thank you!
Hello!
Don’t you have settings for that? Can you edit the pages with the tagDiv Composer?
Thank you!
