I have an important question : is it possible to put the featured image, the title and the review in a block ?

When i try, the title is too high for the image and the review is at the bottom of the page
I can’t find a solution or an adequate template for it, is it possible to edit a post with TD Composer ? I don’t find this solution, have you got a CSS that can help me, thanks a lot, this design is very important to me !! 🙂

We’re having an issue in some pages when editing with TD Composer. When clicking on “Save”, the feedback message is never shown and the processing pinwheel stays visible. We tried disabling all the plugins and found that the issue fixes when Yoast SEO is disabled. However, when editing these pages in WP standard Editor, they save correctly even with Yoast plugin enabled.

I added a “Single image” element to a page. In the tD Composer there are 4 icons for 4 viewports, I thought that I could load a different image per viewport, but this doesn’t seem that case, is it so? Is there a way to achieve this?

That will be the case, the template has to be created fully in the composer screen. There a sidebar can be created in either ways as mentioned. I can’t say if this will change in the future, I believe it will not but I could be mistaken.
You could duplicate it like this. Say you created a template as you want. Create a new template, choose the blank one for example

Then save it. Open the cloud library section, click edit on both the empty template and the one you have created and want to modify

Copy the content from the created template in the blank template and remember to rename it so you can easily identify it

FIX, UPDATE: It seems like the plugin “tagDiv Multi-purpose” was to blame. Toggling that one plugin seems to make the problem disappear/appear.
Reading the documentation it seems as if the Multi-purpose plugin got integrated into tagDiv composer, so the issue seems to be resolved after some minor tweaking on my end.

The warning is normal if you make edits to the page outside the composer. What element are you trying to link? please provide an example of the back-end or provide admin credentials via email at contact@tagdiv.com if you want us to take a look and run a quick test on your site.

I have my website in catalan as second language (With WDPML). This language has a lot of apostrophes.
How is the best way to add text with TagDiv? I usually use the element ‘Column content’ but I had a big problem with the apostrophes in catalan, it doesn’t work. It shows something like that: \\’
I tried to use the element “Inline Text”, It shows the apostrophes but I don’t have format in text, the text style it’s different.
Any solution to fix this in column content? thanks in advance.

If you are already in the composer editing a template, the section will be imported on your page. You cannot import whole pages though but sections can be imported on the page while editing it.

But you say the images disappeared in the whole website and also the tagDiv composer plugin has been removed? Now that is unusual. Could be related to insufficient resources, specially WP memory

I would suggest that you contact the hosting provider and ask them to increase the values of the parameters mentioned in the guide if necessary.
Also maybe they can check if something happened with the server or database recently.

Some elements will still not work properly when both composers are active, some issues were fixed. For example theme provided blocks and grids should work and display the same with both active.
Visual composer specific elements or addons will not work if Visual composer is deactivated. Also they may not display or work properly if both page builders are active. So this may not be easy.
One way to check what will happen in your case is to create a local copy of the website, install and activate the tagDiv composer, then identify whatever problems should present themselves. Better this way than doing it on the live website.

Seems the image box as a widget does not have the same target blank setting as in the composer for example. I will add this on our list and it will be investigated. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Maybe you can use the composer to set the sidebar for the place you want. The tagDiv composer and cloud library plugin can be used to create post templates, category templates etc.

You could use this method and set image box with the composer, there will be a target blank setting.

Simion in fact it just happened ( 0847am ) see now the block is this: https://imgur.com/a/I8tmwZB – the latest chosen block and indeed this block also shows as the block in TD Composer ‘edit page’ screen – they both exist at different times and the same time both on page and in edit screen of TD Composer ( parallel universe? :-))

Currently ( 8:45am UK) this is showing https://imgur.com/a/yuvOofv – but that isn’t the current block chosen in TD Composer, and earlier today a different block was showing, the last chosen block – I haven’t done anything except browse the site to see this
Note that if I edit page with TD Composer, the block is there – view the page then on a mobile device, and you will see the other block, the last chosen block showing, mobile isn’t the issue though – because that same block will show on the homepage again later at some random time
After advice from Bogdan I switched ‘duplicate articles’ to allowed, but this doesn’t fix it

Header style 3 and multipurpose header style 3 are different header styles. The non multipurpose styles can be modified in a child theme, the others cannot (they are added by the former multipurpose plugin now included in the tagDiv composer).

Hi, how can I achieve that the TD_composer link in the adminbar is only accessible just for an admin? Now an editor also have access to this function. I just to prevent that the frontpage can be modified!
We’re running into a lot of 504 errors (over 30,000 since last night), and wpengine support determined the cause to be a conflict with the tagdiv plugin suite (including the tagdiv composer, which we used to build our site’s homepage) and the theme itself.
According to wpengine support, we’re not the only newspaper theme users to be facing this issue. Their suggestion was to disable all tagdiv plugins, but seeing as how we rely on the visual composer in particular for our site’s landing page, that’s really not optimal.
We had to go into our database and drop the table “td_011” as well. There seem to be a lot of issues with autoloading in relation to these errors.
Wanted to ask what’s going on and make sure you all are aware of this.
Hello. Tried to change a page that was made in 8.0 newspaper with updated to 8.8.2 and 9.0.1 and got the error:
“Error at rows: x (models) : x (dom). The model does not match the content”
First I saw it in old version, switched ALL PLUGINS – did not help.
Updated to 9.0.1 version of newspaper – same.
Switched off all plugins – same.
Changed PHP from 7.0.24 to 5.4.6 – same.
Made a new clean page tried to edit it with TD same error: “Error at rows: 1(models) : 0(dom). The model does not match the content”
Deleted the whole folder with theme and child theme.
Installed a new one, disabled all plugins – same.
I understand that possibly the problem is not in theme…. but where to start to look for solving the issue?

At the home page, in the middle, there is a section with 3 posts inserted in a black border (in your demo there is a giraffe, a dolphin and a horse).
I choose the BLOCK 14 for that, and it works well until I browse it on a mobile phone, where the black border won’t stretch from left to right and it presents only a black bar on top and bottom. The demo displays the black frame correctly.

1. With the new version of the theme and the social counter (version 9.0.1) you do not need the facebook app. Just insert your page ID as in the documentation and it will populate.
2. Using tagdiv composer, you can insert the social counter anywhere in the page while for the widget, you can only use it on the sidebar and footer (I guess). The social counter is an element in tagdiv composer.
3. I don’t think the social counter can do that. It populates automatically. Cache plugins might cache the page and also the counter, but it will increment once the cache is cleared.

I think I did it as the Facebook Like & the Twitter Follow icons show and when I click on each they go to the social networks.
But questions:
1. Instructions on documentation are a bit confusing for me. Do I have to create an Face book App if I created the Social Counter as a widget?
2. Whats the difference in creating the Social Counter as a widget vs Using the tagDiv Composer?
3. Is it possible not to show the “Count” for each FB and Twitter for a period of time and then show the count once the count gets at a decent number?
