Hi, recently I changed hosting for my website. Now, I have found that if I try to edit content on a page with Tagdiv Composer, WP editor appears empty. I´m using Column text shortcode from the dashboard. Thanks.
Ok, here are my observence. I deactivate all plugins, except “tagDiv Composer”. After a day, “tagDiv Composer” plugin still get to “Disabled” state. I really do not know why.
Plugin version: 2.3 | built on 06.02.2019
WordPress version: 6.4.4
I coming days I hope I will find a time and try to follow your other instructions and update all stuff (WP, Theme, plugins…) and will return result here or ask / beg for additional help 🙂
Hello,
You need to select the block and, in the tab filter, choose a category that you want to filter the block -> https://i.imgur.com/KKUZXqv.png -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/
The tagDiv Composer is our page builder. It can be used to create pages and cloud templates, but not posts. For this, you’ll need to use Gutenberg or a classic editor.
Using tagDiv Composer, you can build/edit the single post template (the layout of the posts).
Here is a video that will show you how to use the builder to create a website from scratch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg to do this you’ll need to have the posts already.
Also, on our channel, https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOT1RiNysIPCTPSnVZskwtQ, you can find more videos that can help you, as well as documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-documentation/. If you have any questions, you can ask us here on the forum or by email.
Thank you!
Hello,
Yes, it is okay if you have disable the mobile theme.
Using our theme, you can choose from 3 mobile versions
-> mobile responsive => https://www.screencast.com/t/oJ2ShOp47
-> mobile theme plugin => https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
-> mobile page => https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/ The option that you need to use.
Suppose you created the mobile pages with tagDiv Composer. In that case, when you install the Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin (the mobile theme comes with its templates for page, post, category, etc, so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout, the page content is made without builders in mobile editor => https://www.screencast.com/t/xbgZG8kH also, the options that are provided to edit the mobile theme version are limited (this keeps the things simple)).
This is a video about Responsive Newspaper Theme, AMP & Mobile Theme, Mobile Pages & Templates -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY.
So, the mobile responsive is what you see when that you select the viewport on phone => https://www.screencast.com/t/matV17hH, so some settings may apply for each viewport(where is the border blue), and others are not(where the border is black).
The mobile page has the mobile templates from Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/YCcZ8rL8
The Mobile responsive version of the theme and the mobile page editor can be edit with tagDiv Composer, the mobile theme plugin cannot.
For example, you can have the mobile theme plugin activated and use the mobile page/mobile responsive version for the homepage/pages, but for the categories pages/404 page, you can’t use the mobile page/mobile responsive version if you have the mobile theme plugin activated.
Thank you!
Hi,
Both the header and the footer are based on cloud templates and contain the following blocks.
Header:
Header weather
Header date
Social icons
Header logo
Header main menu
Header live search
Footer:
Text with title
Header logo
Title
List
Empty space
So none of the old blocks are in the header or footer.
Only when I save the new page and re-open it in the composer everything is gone besides the headlines part, the social counter and the advertisement,
However when I create a new page again, I again start over with the template like in the screenshot.
Hello again.
One more clarification. We are not sure how to activate / enable the tagDiv composer for blog posts. It seems the default for blog posts is the WordPress editor, not tagDiv.
Can you show us where to switch that over? Thank you so much.
Hi!
They’re enabled already: https://imgur.com/PJjo47j
And there is a menu choosed. Do not work properly. The effect https://imgur.com/b4eWfn1.
When I test on TagDivComposer, seems like this: https://imgur.com/bZ8uXGY.
But when I test on mobile, shows like this: https://imgur.com/undefined.
Seems like something is not working properly. The blue background effect doesn’t show up on mobile and appears transparent on live search. The menu doesn’t show up at all.
I don’t know what to do.
Could be a conflict with any other WordPress plugin?
How do I change the menu design and the live search design or maybe create my own menu design and live search design?
Thanks
Hello!
Deactivate the cache plugin that you use and check again to see if the problem is still there.
We have 3 options available for mobile versions that you can use:
1. Responsive version: A responsive version of your website looks similar to the desktop version. TagDiv Composer is used to edit the page.Click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB. There, you can see your mobile version and edit or adjust the elements to look better.
2. Mobile pages: https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages
3. Mobile theme plugin: The Mobile Theme is a performance-optimized theme included in the main Newspaper theme that only loads on mobile devices. It comes with its own templates and designs for pages, posts, categories, etc., so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. Please see https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/ and https://forum.tagdiv.com/mobile-theme-introduction/ for more information.
A full explanation is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SpGkOnJeNZY
If you need to use mobile version 1 or 2, then you need to uninstall the Mobile Theme plugin and AMP.
Thank you!

Hello!
We recommend to use cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer which contains a lot of functions and features, please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
We will check all these points seriously, and if there’s something that we can do to change something, then we will add it to the next update.
Thank you!
Hello,
You can change the design and style only with custom code CSS. You can not edit the forum page with tagdiv Composer.
Also, I can not access the page -> https://i.imgur.com/lve4vKz.png
Thank you!
Hello Georgi!
Check the CSS tab of the element in the tagdiv composer, and there you can see the background color option. Also, check if you set the background color to white in the theme panel settings. We have some settings for the rows and different stretch sizes: https://www.screencast.com/t/bsbB5P97A
Thank you!
Hello,
Please let me know how you have created the pages. If you have added the content text and image with tagdiv Composer, then the option to change the color is set on each element https://i.imgur.com/c9DoQqV.jpeg; if you made in the Gutenberg editor, then only with custom code CSS can be changed.
Also, since I see that you are just starting with your website, I recommend not using standard templates (header, footer, single, category, tag, author, search, 404) and also avoiding blocks 1 to 25 or big grid blocks, as these can be replaced. I recommend using cloud templates and flex blocks, which have more options and are more flexible.
Thank you!
Hi,
In this topic is a suggestion on how to redirect the links https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/amp-end-of-line/
You can try to add the code here https://imgur.com/2myuxcU and if it not work in this path if you have also, the mobile theme -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/mobile/single.php
Thank you!
Hello Matt,
I recommend updating the theme to version 12.6.6 and checking for malware.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
You could consider reinstalling the WordPress version, and checking for this plugin wp-zexit.php. It might be wise to inspect via FTP if it doesn’t appear in the WordPress -> Plugins. Additionally, using Wordfence to scan the website and remove unknown users would be prudent.
Change admin passwords and delete admin accounts you are not familiar with;
– Delete any weird/unknown plugins;
– Delete the weird/unknown themes;
– Clean unfamiliar Theme Panel injected code (example – https://i.imgur.com/4q70kCv.png);
– Clean WordPress files (example – https://i.imgur.com/stJCqiK.png)
Please block /wp-json/tdw/save_css
If an attacker wants to target this URL /wp-json/tdw/save_css they can do so. Even if the website uses a different theme, the attacker can still try that URL. We could add an option to be able to enable/disable the Live CSS, it will be considered. But for now in order to remove it this can only be done with a modification to the composer plugin. I think that all that removing it requires is to comment this line of code – https://prnt.sc/RtwvL5Nc4ikR -> https://prnt.sc/ymZmhdUfp57U But as I mentioned, the attacker can still try to access the URL.
If you want, you can contact our custom work team here, and they can help you update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Thank you!
Hello Anamaria!
I have resolved the WordPress plugin conflict with the theme and tagdiv plugins.
Now please let me know about the following.
Can the overall look of the press forum when inserted via shortcode be improved?
For example i created a page using one of the cloud templates, and it doesnt look quite well.
Here is the url.

I read about the change that is is now recommended to disable that plugin and use the flex blocks.
So to test I disabled the plugin and then tried to create a new page. pages -> new page from there I click on the composer and then I get what is in the screenshot.
Regards,
Sjaak
I too have the same issue on a couple of sites. Our issue is specifically with Block 17. All other blocks work, but Block 17 throws

Hi Guys, what could cause a white screen of death when no updates have been carried out between the site working and the site not working? Our site was fine on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, and then today (Tuesday) we came to log in and everything was showing a white on the front end but the dashboard was working fine.
The only way to get things to render the front end was to disable tagDiv Composer. We’ve been running WordPress 6.1.1 with tagDiv Newspaper 12.3 stable for months. I tried everything to resolve it but had to resort to a server rollback to Saturday, 3 days ago, which bought everything back online – still using the same versions of everything.
Thanks
Matt
Hi,
Did you import the blocks from the cloud library, or did you create a new page and add them from tagDiv Composer?
Thank you!

Hello!
Edit the page with the tagdiv Composer, click on the row(header), go to the CSS tab and there you can change the background color.
Thank you!
Hi,
If you want to edit the code depending on the type of header you use, you must edit a certain file.
-> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/parts/header/td-login-modal.php
-> wp-content/plugins/td-cloud-library/parts/tdb-login-modal.php
Please note that any change you make in the theme files after update will be overwritten and you have to make the changes again. Better save the code somewhere and then apply it again after every update. Or you can set them in child-theme, please take a look in the documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-child-theme-support-tutorial/
Also, does the option to recover the password from the WordPress login page work?
Thank you!
