Please update the theme at V 3.1 which is available on themeforest and also update the Social Counter and Visual Composer and the new versions included in theme’s path: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ then clear all caches and test ther site again.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.3) and also, the latest version of required plugins -> Social Counter 4.1 and Visual Composer 4.12. Clear all your caches and test it again.

I have tested on my side, following all the steps from that tutorial and seems to work as properly. Please try to add a link to your button according to our documentation like this -> http://screencast.com/t/4qhqH9Rgw Since you have not a link set it you will never bring any good results in this case. Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Also, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

The problem is that W3C is negative these codes you can see here https://validator.nu/?doc=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.trebol-apuestas.com can I do? To begin with, I am sorry for asking six questions in a row. I tried to figure each one out for myself but didn’t have any luck. And I am under time constraints. But this is my last question for now. Please examine my homepage at http://www.mentalhealthsuggestions.com. The first Visual Composer row and element is the long yellow “Under Construction” banner. It is the first row. I went and changed the margin 0 zero, but I still couldn’t get it to position flush under the black menu bar. I don’t want any white background showing between the header and the first graphic. Help!
Yeah, I uploaded as instructed, and now the version is 7.3, but the Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1 did not update as you said. Is there a step I am missing?

Can you confirm that this is the correct version – themeforest-5489609-newspaper-wordpress-theme.zip? I’ve gone to my Evato Market account, then to https://themeforest.net/downloads and downloaded the ZIP, installed via FTP per the instructions in link provided https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and now I have the 7.3 version displayed in the Appearance/Themes. However, the Visual Composer is still at version 4.11.2. Do I have to all the pluins manually as well?

Yes, you are correct about updating visual composer but I am not left with a second issue. Thankyou!
Nevertheless, the update has left my front page Header Background Colour transparent. Strangely enough on refresh it it appears black but 0% opacity appears within a second.
I know this as I changed it to red during testing. All plugins were disabled and cache refreshed.

After update to Newspaper 7.3, comment counts starts to show on homepage. On the theme panel, comment counts is off. But Visual Composer element on homepage and components show comment counts. So, how can i close comments counts for everywhere?

Just edit the page with VC in classic mode, edit the desired blocks and change theirs titles. I just updeted the theme and the new visual comnposer at the new version and now I’m in troubles with the horizontal spaces
it seems that the width of the page can’t handle the vc block width and put the second columns below (see at http://www.greenplanner.it)
in our hp weare using block 14, 11, 1, 2 and 4 and we’re facing troubles with all of them
I’ve already deleted the cache

Please update and your Visual Composer to the latest version of it -> 4.12. You will have to delete the old version of ti and then from Premium Plugins you will have to install the version which comes bundled with the theme. Please try to re-download the latest version of the theme and ensure that is a clear one and it has been fully downloaded from the Envato server and then, using the FTP method please install the theme to your side, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/install-via-ftp/ With the latest version of the theme will come bundled all the latest version of required plugins and these have to be installed on your back end ->Visual Composer 4.12 and Social Counter 4.1 Try to do these steps and then let us know how it goes!
