After WordPress updated at V 4.5 there appeared a jQuery conflict in our theme, also older version of VC won’t work with it. We fixed this conflict and the current theme version available on themeforest works fine, also we included last version of Visual Composer plugin.
Try to update the theme at current version available on themeforest, also update Visual Composer at V 4.11.2 following our documentation: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-the-theme/ – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-how-to-update-visual-composer-plugin/ deactivate all other plugins, clear all caches and test again.

Gwen’s steps are a perfect quick fix. I used this to update Visual Composer as well.
I have just installed Newpaper 7.7.1. It automatically installed Visual Composer 4.9.2. When I create a new page and click on Backend Editor I get a list of the available templates, but no templates to view or select. Your earlier comments on similar problems tells the user to upgrade to the latest version of Visual Composer, which is 4.11.x. However, elsewhere you make the point that the user cannot upgrade Visual Composer, that you will provide the upgrade in a revision of the Newspaper theme itself. I purchased this theme for, among other reasons, the extension templates available. It doesn’t work. What do I do?

Im using Newsmag theme ver. 2.3.7, WPBakery Visual Composer ver. 4.11.2 and tagDiv Social Counter ver. 3.2, Site: savjetologija.com
The thing is that SC plugin is showing tw, yt, g+ correctly by number of followers/likes but shows wrong data for fb.
I noticed here in some comments that there was mentioning of SC plugin ver. 4.0, seems I can’t find it anywhere?
Also, in last update of Newsmag theme I found folder Newsmag-tf\patch_2.3.6_2.3.7\includes\plugins\td-social-counter.zip, so I was wondering is this mybe patch for fixing fb data number in SC plugin?

Regarding the translations, this is all setup fine. Still the german version of the homepage is not showing up correctly. I think, the problem is, that for some reasons, the complete visual composer based german homepage is shown in the content area and the default sidebar is shown additionally, which is not happening in the english version of the homepage.
So my question would be, whether an identical page (german is a copy of the english visual composer based homepage) shows in english language as it should be and in german language an additional sidebar (the default sidebar) is shwon.
Regarding the iframe, I don´t know why, but it works now. Sorry, I don´t have any idea. I just put back the same css code, I used before and it works now.

I suspect your problem being from your untested plugins which could interfere with the theme and create a lot of unknown issues or could interfere between them and cause this issue. To be sure in this regard, please try to disable ALL the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. So, after this process, you will check and see if your problem is still there. Please notice that the theme is fully tested with the bundled plugins and work as properly, without any problems. Also, then you can install your plugin one by one and check which is the culprit.

You can ignore this message as the free version of visual composer cannot be activated. The plugin authors did not remove the message for the free versions and you do not need to worry about it.

I see you reverted to the newspaper 6 at the moment. The top menu did not change and the login widget is still present. Fonts can be changed as before from the theme panel. If thse option do not work for you, you might have a plugin conflict. As the code got changed in newspaper 7, some plugins might not be compatible anymore in version 7. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then test the login and the fonts again.

Hi I installed the theme. It says “Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.”
What should I do, doest it effect on my site if I just leave the message as it is? or do I need to activate it?

Please deactivate all plugins except visual composer and then activate the mobile theme first, before all your other plugins as there is an activation conflict. It needs to tie into the wp code first, before the other plugins. (this is not always the case but it worked in most cases)
(The bump has the opposite effect on our forums. S we answer from oldest to newest so it will make your topic ‘newer’ again so older ones get their answer before yours.)

I know, that you are not supporting WPML. But still I wonder, whether the language switching just works fine for the post view and the category view. Even for the english language it works fine on the homepage, which is based on Visual Composer. The only thing, which doesnt´t show up right, is the german version of the homepage.
I just don´t understand, why this should be a problem. For me, this doesn´t look like a WPML related problem.
Even the quick view of the german homepage version just shows up fine.
Regarding the second issue, I just removed the custom css. Now the map is visible (see: https://www.offroaddance.com/kanab-point-arizona-strip-english/), but it is not scaling the height of the map. This was taken care about with the css code, I posted before.
This worked fine in all themes, I used so far. Just with Newspaper, it is not working.

Also, please notice that this plugin come bundled with our theme and it is not necessary to buy another license in this regard. Please notice that until now we do not have any bad reports in this regard. Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme with the latest version of required plugins. Also, please ensure that all of these processes was made via FTP because this is the surest method in this regard. So, if your problem is still there, I suggest doing a new clean install from scratch with the latest version of the theme, clear all your caches and check again the results. It is possible that you installing do be incomplete and that’s why you get this errors. Also, please disable all your plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.

Yes, it seems that this type of theme’s behaviour to be generated by conflicting plugins. Please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out this conflict.

Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. then check the counter again. Most likely the cache is causing a delay for it.
Also, are you sure all the 61 comments from the screen you posted all come from the author in question as the post screen will show all comments not just the ones from a specific author.
