My advice is to try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active, clear all cache and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. If you are using such plugins, it is possible that to interfere with the theme and could cause a lot of unknown issues. If you need more assistance in this regard after these changes, please provide your website URL so I can further inspect it closer and also, so I will be able to provide a more accurate response.

The ‘Add Image’ element is not displaying properly in the front end of my website. It does not align correctly and seems to fall short of the right dimensions. All the other elements work. I got in contact with Visual Composer support and they have said that it is a theme issue. This is their response:
Your theme is adding a margin to the “figure” html tag which is used to render the single image element. You can remove it using following CSS code:
figure.wpb_wrapper.vc_figure {
margin: 0px !important;
}
If you want it to affect entire site, then you need to add this via the child theme stylesheet or you can confirm with the theme author whether there is any setting in the theme where you can add it to make the global change. The normal custom CSS at your end is disabled by the theme author.

Or maybe you have a JS code running that interferes with the theme js. Please try to restore the theme to it;s defaults and test again.

Maybe the version of visual composer you are using is not fully compatible with the theme. Please try to remove your version of VC (deactivate and delete files) and install it from here: http://screencast.com/t/wk0ibQNTw
Make sure you have the latest version of the theme though. If you want to see the code used for block 1, there are multiple places to look. there is this file: http://screencast.com/t/87T5NqA3IuG but this is an extended class of http://screencast.com/t/ghZxSrI3jWp
If you want to target the modules themselves (a block uses one or more modules to display posts), you will have to search for these files for block 1: http://screencast.com/t/gpsSd8vt

If you are using the Wordfence plugin, please try to disable because we have some bad reports about this type of plugin and try to search another one with this functionality, sorry! This plugin creates a conflict in the theme which generate this type of issue with saving. Also, please check your console and see if you have some js errors through it. Also, if you have some errors about admin_ajax.php please contact your hosting provider because the problem is related from the server. Also, you have to check your system status if it has the right values for the parameters, otherwise, you have to increase the systems status, according to our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/system-status-parameters-guide/
Please notice that you have to try this advice without any untested plugin. You have to use only the Visual Composer to active and also, all your cache memory would be cleared for good results.

First of all, please try to disable all the active plugins, leave just Visual Composer to active and instal only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins.
Please notice that the CSS working in cascade and the first time take the code from style.css that is set it by default and then takes you custom CSS that you have changed from Theme panel. As a workaround, you have to check your style.css and try to add directly in this file your desired custom CSS code.

This is the reason why you have to unchecked automatic updates. This issue usually is caused by some updates being made automatically like WP updates or plugin updates. Sometimes these can conflict with one another and mess thing up. Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide:

Then you need to check if the issuer is still there and if it is, please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files.

Hi,
If you use a text block immediately after the video you will get those results. Every text blo0ck has padding and margins to it and if you use a h2 title inside the text block , then you increase these spaces as a heading adds spacing as well. You also get spaces from a widget that is in place there adding bottom spacing to the text block. Please remove all your plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Then check the spacing again. I suspect there is a plugin that alters the css.

I have checked your website and I saw that you are using an older version of Visual Composer (v.4.9.2). The latest version of WordPress (v.4.5) ‘broke’ the Visual Composer and you need to update the Visual Composer to the latest version (4.11.2) and everything will work fine. You have to update the theme because in the latest theme’s pack we have the latest version of Composer. Please check the size for your ad from Custom Ad 1 area, like this -> http://screencast.com/t/hB3HMTU6aR If you leave the auto size, the theme will add the adequate size for your ad depending on where the ad is placed. If you want to have the same size for your ad you have to set it from Ad size from Custom Ad field. We do not recommend using the Text Block for your Ads because this type of Visual Composer element will not render the ad code. You have to use the Ad Box from Widgets Area for footer section -> http://screencast.com/t/RrmSfDR9rzBF.

If you want to have more options in this regard, you need to find some plugins with this functionality and see how it work for you. Also, if you ant to display more levels in our theme and you are not aware of the steps you need to take in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because we cannot provide customization services at the moment, sorry!

In newspaper demo is using only the Visual Composer element for Author, as the example the Author Box feature. If you want to have the link for each post, you have to simply add the author for your post and then, when the post is shown on blocks/modules and click on the name of the author will be direct to the page of the author that are by default set it from WordPress -> http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/author/admin/ -> http://screencast.com/t/t0nffZheh9k5 . If you want to have more options for the author page, you will have to search some plugins with this functionality and see how it works for you.

If you move theme’s css file to footer your page speed will be increased but there will be a layout misalignment for a few seconds until the css it’s loaded and it its style it’s applied. That’s why we decide to keep the css in header.
Also if you decide to move all css in footer you have to keep the same order so make sure you added the code like here: http://screencast.com/t/jnZQRyqy0KoU

In indicated thread my colleague referred at Speed Booster behavior when it’s used with Newspaper theme. In that case the main css mile it’s moved to footer but VC’s css it’s left in header.

Please try to revert any changes that were made in the past 2 days if the option worked before. Maybe you installed a plugin or modified something that can cause this. Please try to disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files if you use it. Plugin conflicts are the number one reason for this type of errors.

I’ve made an additional tests using Speed Booster plugin. By adding this code: http://screencast.com/t/jnZQRyqy0KoU in td-speed-booster.php file the plugin move all theme’s css file to the footer. It also moves the google fonts and Visual Composer’s css file: http://screencast.com/t/BHgnBsDk Also jQuery file it’s moved automatically in footer when the plugin it’s enabled, this is a correction to my previous reply.

Thanks for your reply. It’s sound strange for me too. The only change between the time this worked and the time it stopped working is that i bought one licence of visual composer, for to avoid the update problems. If i want to see the codes of block 1, where i do look?

That social counter does not come from our theme. If you want to have the same effect you will need to use some plugins with this functionality and see how it works for you.
