So I’m trying to move a site to a new server and the tagdiv composer plugin instantly locks the site 100% if I enable it after the transfer. From the debug logging, it looks like the plugin is somehow finding absolute URLs (bad programming) in the database and trying to use them to find its files. I’ve tried the usual steps of installing the theme and plugins anew, but the issue persists. So I can only assume that somewhere in the database it’s storing absolute URLs to its plugin files (no idea why any programmer would ever do such a thing).
Can you please guide me to where in the database it’s storing these URLs? I need to update them to change the path to the proper /wp-content/plugins/td-composer folder and not to an old absolute URL that never should exist in a WP database.
It’s a large site/database, so searching the entire thing is cumbersome to say the least. I’m guessing it’s somewhere in the wp_postmeta???
yes, that’ what I meant. I deleted the about page and the sections from the home page, but now I am left with a grey bar on top of the footer. You know this is super annoying, having to ask these type of basic question. In Elementor I would be finished already without bothering anyone else. I am using Newspaper template for at least 6 years, rather 8 and I never switched to the tagdiv composer. Honestly it’s terrible. I will probably drop the template fro good. Sorry. But thanks for the prompt support.
Hi,
thank you very much for your reply!
I don’t think that’s the problem because I only use the playlist ID. On the site everything is shown correctly but, if I enable errors log, I get that message.
In addition, my hosting service says that the td-composer plugin generates a lot of RAM usage and crashes the site.
Thank you!

Hi,
You need to edit with tagDiv Composer and change the font for each element that you want https://i.imgur.com/xp4zoTb.jpg
-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoGQ0d5kIBg -> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jQvA64uTLkI
Also, you can use global font from Manager(Website Manager) -> Global fonts -> https://i.imgur.com/iY0bh4Y.png
Thank you!

Hello!
You can edit it in this file: td-composer/legacy/Newspaper/includes/shortcodes/td_block_authors.php
Thank you!
Hello Calin, thank you for you answer.
Obviously I tried to use the element “custom fields” and it works nice if your’re going to obtain standard rendering in HTML. But if you want to be free to use ACF field values in your HTML code that seems not to be possible.
I’d need to develope customized html object using the acf field values. I tried using the textbox but the result seems not to be so stable. So I’d like to boild my customized TagDiv object like I did with other composers. How could I do it?
Thank you.
Hello thewrestlevoice,
I think that you are referring to this option – https://i.imgur.com/DtuOWd0.png this one is to remove the custom work banners from backend – https://i.imgur.com/IpPTiH3.png to remove the banners from pages and templates you need to edit those using tagDiv Composer and remove the banners from the ad box elements – https://i.imgur.com/qyQ75de.jpg – https://i.imgur.com/O9d86ya.jpg
Thank you!
Hi danieleprimavera,
Normally if you use acf with our theme then you can use the special element from tagDiv Composer to display those elements and this element is the “custom filed” – https://i.imgur.com/dfQRVir.png – https://i.imgur.com/pJfe151.png – https://i.imgur.com/Gh3HNoe.png so there is no need to set the shortcode in HTML, just use the special elements to render the acf info – https://forum.tagdiv.com/custom-fields-support/
I hope this will hep you!
Hi chrisb412 ,
There are a few elements that needs to be checked to can set the homepage on full width. You need to make sure that you not have enabled the boxed option in the theme panel (usually this option is used when a background image or color is set for the website -> https://i.imgur.com/EdKeywD.png), after that you need to use the tagDiv Composer to stretch the rows – https://imgur.com/WKYebPX – https://imgur.com/TO1BZ3M – https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
I hope this will help you!
Hi, the EastCoast use a custom module made in the Eastcoast Check PRO Plugin, therefore to edit it you need to edit that plugin, but there is a better way, now our tagDiv Composer can build modules and you can get from cloud and jut edit it after your needs (or you can create your own modules) -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/modules-builder-newspaper-theme/
I hope this will help you!
Hello!
Please make sure that the theme and plugins are up to date.
Please execute these steps:
1. disable TagDiv Composer
2. uninstall(delete) TagDiv Composer
3. install TagDiv Composer
4. activate TagDiv Composer
Hope that helps you!
Thank you!
Hello!
Please note that if a page is made by Composer, than the content won’t be displayed on Mobile theme version. You should create the content with the Mobile Editor.
Thank you!
Hi manbodyspirit, what you need to do is to set the staging or subdomain and try there the theme update. Also, you should do the update via FTP/cPanel and you’ll need to do make a full backup for the website and database, and only after that update the theme.
The steps are:
1. Download the Newspaper theme from your themeforest account and unzip it.
2. Set the theme on maintenance mode.
3. Disable the tagDiv plugins and delete them.
4. Using the FTP or cPanel delete the current theme and set the downloaded theme from the themeforest.
5. Connect to the dashboard website and go to Newspaper > plugins and install the plugins you have from the theme (tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Social counter… those plugins that were installed), also it will be need to install the tagDiv Standard Pack plugin to keep the current layout.
6. Macke sure that the theme is activated – https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-6-how-to-activate-the-theme/
If everything is ok, then you can disable the maintenance mode.
The theme settings are saved in database and those will not be affected during the changes.
I hope this will help you!

Hi msalina10, the Newspaper theme do not use the WordPress customizer editor, it use the tagDiv Composer and theme panel options. In this case you have a standard template that can be edited using the theme panel settings to add/remove elements, and that element can be removed using this option – https://i.imgur.com/yELqXZZ.png
I hope this will help you!
Thank you!
Hello @Kdh8503 !
Yes. We recommend using cloud/PRO templates in order to have the possibility to edit them with the TagDiv Composer, which contains a lot of functions and features, Please check our tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/
More documentation about the cloud templates is here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/design-post-pages-using-cloud-library-templates/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloud-library-category-templates/
Please note that the images in the content are recommended to be added by using Gutenberg or the Classic Editor.
Thank you!
Hi PKramik, normally the theme do not have an option to set the language per device, however, this depends on the template you are using, this can be made with text in a different language. Our Newspaper theme provides for mobile 3 version, the responsive version, the mobile page template (this can be a different page/template made with tagDiv Composer) and the mobile page template (a simple layout for mobile).
Thank you!
Hi,
I have uploaded the mobile logo and mobile retina from the tagdiv composer, but it is not showing, can you check from your end and fix this?

Hi,
The composer plugin is creating issues on my site https://girlsleap.com/. The site is redirecting to other random sites. It seems like the site is hacked. but when is deactivate the composer plugin, the site works fine. Please help in this regard.
Thank you
Hello, I think it’s not a problem with ACF Plugin. ACF Plugin allow to use shortcodes (like [acf field=”age”]) to access the value I need in a customized HTML. Unfortunately, it seems like TagDiv Composer does not allow to use those shortcodes. So I’d like to know how could I do the same thing, or at least how could I develope a customized object for TagDiv composer.
Thank you
Is it possible to edit posts with the TagDiv Composer? I’d like to add images to my posts.
