We need to show the modified date only for a specific category under posts. How can we do this using the composer? or is there any way to do it programmatically?
When the plugin is on, the site shuts down and it’s impossible to use.
We have the latest version for both Newspaper and the plugins.
Wordpress is up to date.
We are running on PHP 7.4 on Apache.
This wasn’t occurring until a few weeks ago, then all of the sudden the site kept throwing Error 50 and disconecting constantly.
I created a CPT for a company directory I have been building. The template looks great. However, I need a table of contents on the pages. I have tried multiple plugins, but for some reason they don’t work on the front of the site (they seem to in the Composer).
I’m now trying to manually create a Table of Contents using simple html, (e.g. <div id=”xyz”></div> in the header of each section and 123 in the table of contents section). This doesn’t seem to be working either.
This is mission critical for me, so any ideas?
No – no that’s not what I mean, if that’s what I understand, but it’s not just changing the color for that basic customization, it means pages like these are categories that can change units:
https://freeimage.host/i/H1x6oQa
I mean can customize with tagdiv composer every created tag:
https://freeimage.host/i/H1xPJwX
Instead of creating a customized page. Customizing specific tag pages (with tagdiv composer) makes the theme look even more premium or epic. For example, if I make an article about the Cygames company, the article will be tagged Cygames, then I mean the Cygames tag can look different on its own, which displays a brief description of the company and the existing articles.
So when someone reads an article and clicks on a tag, he will go to a specially made tag page like creating a page.
Hi Anamaria,
Thank you but I would kindly ask you to be more clear on your explanations.Your answers without clear explanations lead to more questions from my side. Can you kindly answer the questions below please:
So,
1. Do you mean the text tips like “The text logo is used only by Style 9, Style 10 and Style 11” in the Admin Panel -> Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Header menu is related with the now-deprecated Standard Pack plugin?
2. You sent a page that shows adding a logo to the page using a tagDiv Composer from the frontend. There is also an option to add a logo from the Admin Panel -> Newspaper -> Theme Panel -> Header menu. So are you saying I should change the logo from the frontend tagDiv composer AND NOT from the Admin panel?
3. Should I use the frontend tagDiv Composer to change all aspects of the website or ARE THERE SOME options necessary to be set from the Admin Panel -> Newspaper -> Theme Panel? (e.g. post/page layout options, theme fonts, analytics code etc.) Can you give a detailed answer to this if possible.
4. I have installed the tagDiv standard pack, should I disable it or are there some scenarios that I will need it?
Thank you in advance,
Ozgur
Hello,
Please activate the tagDiv Opt-in Builder, if you want to use the newsletter after you activate the plugin, you can delete the lead element with right-click, and add the newsletter https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-newsletter-plugin/
Thank you!
Hi,
If your settings are not saved, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/ and try the suggestions. Also, please check the cache, and clear/purge all cache.
Thank you!
Hello!
If you want to change the text color of your breadcrumbs and you use cloud template, then you need to access a post, edit with the TagDiv Composer, click on the element and you’ll find the settings in the left side of the screen.
You can disable the option the Auto Loading on the Single Post Template edit with tagDiv Composer -> Show site wide settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/4RnV1CnxiuA -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/infinite-loading-single-posts/
Thank you!
Hello!
Do you use those elements? in the login and registration elements from composer.
Thank you!
Newspaper can’t seem to customize the different tag pages. Tag customization only 1 template for all tags. Is there a way to customize it specifically using the composer tagdiv because I don’t see it in the documentation?
Hi,
If your settings are not saved, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tagdiv-composer-does-not-save-only-content-of-homepage/ and try the suggestions. Also, please check the cache, and clear/purge all cache.

Hello,
If you want to update the theme, you should download the latest version of it from Theme Forest account and download it.
Please make a full backup to all files and database => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAJXrSI-dDA
Here you can find information about the changes that have occurred in each update over time https://tagdiv.com/newspaper/
I recommend that you update the theme manually https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ via FTP/cPanel/File Manager, also if possible disable extra plugins during the theme update to avoid any problems that may arise and make sure that you have activated the tagDiv Standard pack plugin to keep the website’s look. You can try to update the theme on a staging website.
After you update the theme, you need to update the theme plugins too.
In the worst cases, the settings in the theme panel may be lost (there have been isolated cases), in these cases, after the theme plugins that were previously used are activated, you will have to use a backup for the theme panel -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/import-export-theme-settings/
Also, if you want, you can contact our custom work team here and they can help you to update the theme safely: https://tagdiv.com/premium-customization-services/
Please note that we don’t recommend you use WP Bakery anymore since there can be conflicts between TagDiv Composer and WP Bakery; also WP Bakery can’t edit the tagDiv Composer templates. You can use the cloud library and directly import a homepage template if you want: https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
Hope this help you!
Thank you!
Hi,
For mobile please edit with tagDiv Composer, select the viewport on phone, select the header logo and change it => https://i.imgur.com/cR7F0v4.png https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXQQygkCCJo -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-logo-newspaper/
Thank you!
Front-end of our site appears fine/all of our Pages are constructed using your Cloud Templates. But when we go Dashboard/Admin/Cloud Temmplates, NONE of our templates are visible. Also not visible when we check individual Pages via Admin/Pages/Edit with TagDiv Composer.
НI! When I activate the plugin I see this issue What this may be due?
I just want to control what categories appear on the category page. When you go to edit the category template with the tagdiv composer, there is only an option to limit how many categories are displayed. No option to change the ordering or add/remove specific categories. I’m using the NFT Pro Theme.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Hi,
Our website its only blank after last update.

Hi,
Yes I mean Dashboard -> Posts -> All Posts -> Filter by a category.
– I have deactivated all the plugins => no error message
– I have reactivated only tagdiv composer => the message appears
– I have reactivated all the plugins and deactivated tagdiv composer => no error message
I have newspaper theme v12.2 installed.
So… the culprit cannot be anything else than tagdiv composer.
Could you please ask the developer.
Thanks for your consideration and help.
Hello @chriswp!
The tagdiv Composer plugin is a bigger one with a lot of functions and settings. Our developers tried to improve it more and more and optimize it as much as they could in every update.
There are a lot of factors which can make your site slow. Make sure you use only some templates and fewer functionalities and options.
Some factors which you need to take into account are:
External factors: server speed, if you are using CDN or not, the external resources loaded by your website like ads, fonts, tracking scripts like Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, Twitter analytics, Hotjar and so on.
Internal factors: the number of elements on the page, image size, image formats, if you are using mobile optimized layouts, console errors, if you are using the Standard Pack plugin or not, if you are using the PRO demo or a standard one.
Some starting points to improve your website page speed are here:

Please check the tutorials from those platforms, GT metrix and Google Pagespeed Insights, and I’m sure you can increase the page speed.
Please note that page speed is not covered by the support team: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newspaper-theme-support/

Kindly help me out here
Hello @opes!
Try to keep only one page with the TagDiv Composer opened, insert an image, save, and view the result.
Thank you!
I transfer the site to another server and I get the following error.
what does this mean?
td_api_base::mark_used_on_page : a component with the ID: td_category_template_2 is not set.

Hi – I get the following error under the header of my site – http://www.kormorant.co.za
Warning: Attempt to read property “post_content” on null in /usr/www/users/kormogrrya/wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/common/wp_booster/td_menu.php on line 204
I uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin but still the same.
Thank you
Deon
Hello,
Location of the problem : On the admin side > posts lisiting > filter by category
When I try to filter by selecting a category I get this DB error message :
WordPress database error : [Not unique table/alias: 'term_relationships']
SELECT SQL_CALC_FOUND_ROWS posts.ID FROM posts LEFT JOIN term_relationships ON (posts.ID = term_relationships.object_id) INNER JOIN term_relationships ON posts.ID = term_relationships.object_id INNER JOIN term_taxonomy ON term_taxonomy.term_taxonomy_id = term_relationships.term_taxonomy_id INNER JOIN terms ON terms.term_id = term_taxonomy.term_id WHERE 1=1 AND ( term_relationships.term_taxonomy_id IN (445) ) AND ((posts.post_type = 'post' AND (posts.post_status = 'publish' OR posts.post_status = 'future' OR posts.post_status = 'draft' OR posts.post_status = 'private'))) OR ( terms.name LIKE ('%%') ) OR ( term_taxonomy.description LIKE ('%%') ) GROUP BY posts.ID ORDER BY posts.post_date DESC LIMIT 0, 30
tagDiv Composer is the culprit as I deactivated all the plugins and reactivated them one by one. The problem arises only when tagdiv composer is activated even when only newspaper theme + tagdiv plugins are activated.
Could you fix this ?
Regards,
Hi,
the plugin I am using is not the Event Calendar. It is eventOn (https://www.myeventon.com/).
As I mentioned before, Newspaper and EventOn worked perfect together for two years now, no errors, no conflicts. But since this week I get this error.
I can not make sense of it, because it appears in the backend and I am wondering what Tagdiv Composer has to do with it.
I understand that your options are limited since it seems to be a third party conflict. But still, maybe you have a clue what causes it, or give me a hint what I could try and change. Or recommend somebody who could solve it.
Thanks again
