Hello,
Please deactivate the tagDiv Composer plugin, delete and re-install it again from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc and see if the problem persists.
Also, please check if you don’t have a header template from Cloud Library for categories pages.
Thank you!
Hello,
Indeed it was a problem, but now is fixed, and you need to deactivate the tagDiv Composer plugin, delete and re-install it again from Newspaper plugins => https://www.screencast.com/t/WLy01lbc
Thank you for understanding!
Hello,
Unfortunately, the administrator and editor can do changes with tagDiv Composer and can save it.
So, if your client has the role of editor, then he can done changes and there isn’t an option to hide the button.
Thank you!
Hello !
From what I can see you should be able to edit your viewport using tagDiv Composer as you can see here: https://www.screencast.com/t/c31iTxhamc
I hope this was helpful !
Thank you !
Hello !
Please delete and reinstall only the tagDiv Composer plugin. There is a new version released. Let us know the result!
Thank you!
Hello !
I understood what you meant. Honestly from what I have personally seen and recent Google policy I don’t think it is relevant. From what I have seen Google firstly lists your website in their search result based on perfomance / technical stuff, but if your content brings more visitors and is something that is very searched, any site, no matter how bad it is performance wise will be in first page of google. Indeed having a good performance is a great thing and there are plenty of websites that use our products and have exceptional content.
My point is that people tend to focus too much on performance and not on the actual content and marketing which is the core of a News / Magazine website. You can test https://www.nytimes.com/ or https://news.yahoo.com/ to see how they are in top and their performance is bad compared to what can be done in these days.
I think that there is no difference between using Gutenberg or Composer or any other page builder. Everything is up to how that website is designed, how “clean” it is, you can have a tone of elements on your pages but still keep it light and fresh.
I hope this answer helped !
Thank you !
Hello,
If you have a Pro Prebuilt Website then you can import a footer with a sub footer or you can add a row on the bottom of the footer, where you can add the elements you want with tagDiv Composer.
-> https://tagdiv.com/how-to-create-a-footer-with-newspaper-theme/
-> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nE51MfLV7hE
If you use a Standard Prebuit Website, then you can add information in Theme Panel -> Footer -> Sub footer settings => https://www.screencast.com/t/y6Ymh06d
Hope this helps you!
Thank you!
However, I hit that green button on top with EDIT with TagDiv Composer…it shows: https://imgur.com/9HeqyO9
This started to happen ever since that last update in the past couple of days or so.
It’s Magazine Pro. Same happened when I tried Default Pro
Below are the errors and the files they occur in.
These errors only show on pages where a post loop is added to the design, but there are no posts to show, like empty category pages and the search page when there are no search results.
Once there is a post loop without posts, the design of the header template breaks (only cloud template, not default header presets).
If there are posts to show, no errors occur and the header looks normal.

Hello – I am getting a series of wp booster errors at the top of this article: https://www.pinkluggageabroad.com/verona-bars/. I deactivated all non TagDiv plug ins as you usually suggest, and the errors are still there:

I watched this tutorial and followed the advice. At first it worked perfectly.
My goal is to use the TagDiv composer to control my mobile page.
I deleted the AMP plugin and TagDiv Mobile plugin.
Then, on my mobile device, I was able to see my mobile page theme (minty). It was beautiful.
Then, automatically, the page showed the responsive version of my web theme (pulses pro) on mobile devices. It was not beautiful.
Then, automatically, it went back to the mobile page theme on its own on mobile devices. Nice.
Now, automatically it’s back to the responsive version of the web theme on mobile devices. Not nice.
Why does it change by itself for mobile devices?
Site: theseoulite.com
Also found what post settings (such as: SHOW AUTHOR NAME | SHOW DATE, SHARING, NEXT-PREVIOUS ARTICLE) not taking any effect when I trying to edit it from Theme Panel. So I have to remove everything manually using TagDiv Composer. And I wonder why?
Hello!
If you use a cloud template, then you can edit the page with TagDiv Composer plugin, click on that element and then you will have some settings like that: https://www.screencast.com/t/YzTIpLck
If you use a default template, then you can not modify it like that and you should change the template to achieve what you need there.
Thank you!
So the category bug has been fixed? We just need to reinstall tagDiv composer?
Hello!
Unfortunately, for that mobile menu you can only have some settings there, so you can not add elements there or customize it with TagDiv Composer.
Thank you!
Hello!
Please check this article which describes mobile pages:
https://tagdiv.com/newspaper-10-3-7-update-brings-customizable-and-fast-mobile-pages/
From what you describe it seems you have installed Mobile theme plugin. If you created the mobile pages with TagDiv Composer, then when you install Mobile Theme plugin, your pages will be overwritten by the plugin.
The Mobile Theme is a performance optimized theme included in the Newspaper main theme and it loads only for mobile devices. It comes with its own templates for page, post, category, etc so your current templates from the desktop theme will get converted to the mobile theme layout. For more details, please take a look here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Please note that you can not edit the AMP pages or Mobile Theme with TagDiv Composer plugin.
If you want a responsive version of your website which is looking similar like on desktop, then you need to deactivate Mobile Theme, edit the page with TagDiv Composer, click on the mobile viewport: https://www.screencast.com/t/XDQJedlggSB ; there you can see your mobile version and you can edit the elements there.
Thank you!

thanks in advance for your help.
I have the same issue after the update. This happened in the past, I thought I had it fixed, and now it’s recurring with the update.
I want to use one of the text options to add a shortcode, but the “WP Editor” text editor in TagDiv composer won’t load.
In console, I see the following errors while trying to use it:
wpeditor.php:1 Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 ()
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 400 ()
and something about td job manager.
I have tried disabling all optimization plugins. I have already reinstalled TD Composer.
Any ideas?
After updating to 10.4 in a test environment a number of errors occurred. For example, TD Composer was no longer working and messing up all pages with shortcodes.
I did some testing and found out that the problem seems to be the theme’s internal update process. Following the instructions for manual update given here: https://tagdiv.com/update-newspaper-theme everything works fine. It looks like the update routine is not deleting or replacing all the files.
If you are facing issues try this:
- Delete all files from theme folder (wp-content/themes/Newspaper/) via ftp or cpanel.
- Download Installable WordPress Theme from envato
- Unzip and upload the new files to theme folder via ftp or cpanel
- Login to theme panel and update and activate the required plugins
- Clear Cache
Hope that helps
Regards
Hi, I recommend you to insert an option to hide “Show SoundCloud overlays” from soundcloud podcasts in mobile version.
Currently on mobile devices it displays the words “Play on soundcloud” and “listen in browser”.
By adding “show_teaser=false” to the iframe url you can hide this writing, and immediately display the player for listening.
What do you think about it?
Thanks.
PS. just edit tagdiv composer’s td_audio_support.php file.
I have followed your steps and it still does not work as you can see https://www.loom.com/share/bd68be0342f94149931ff2c987ffadc9
But if I go back to 10.3.9.1, the visual composer works fine.
I need technical support, more I can not do.
Hi there,
I’m trying to create a “baby-proofed” site for a client of mine to use. I do not want him to mess with the TagDiv page builder or else a page could get nuked. I had an easy time removing it from the admin bar using a couple plugins, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to hide the button on the page editor.
Any ideas on how I could do this?
I have fixed the issue on desktop. Also mobile homepage works to… only problem is i try to edit mobile page with tagdiv composer and when i set header template “global” it doesnt affect on mobile. when i check pages, posts on mobile its pre-edit version. my site: neneden.co
Hello,
Normally, the Chrome browser should not interfere with how the tagDiv composer works.
This issue can be from a plugin conflict, and you can try to use the incognito window to make the changes.
Thank you!
