We adquired the Newspaper Theme a couple of weeks ago, and as we develop our news site, we’ve got some questions:
1. Problem with “Sharing” social-media buttons for Single Post
We’re using a Post Template from your CloudLibrary. The one we’re using is the “Single Post Template 11”. There’s a section for sharing buttons on the top of the template, but the configuration options doesn’t give us any chance to insert our social media links.
So we’ve gone to the “Sharing” section inside “Post settings” of the Theme Panel. We activated the options TOP ARTICLE SHARING, TOP ARTICLE SHARE TEXT, BOTTOM ARTICLE SHARING BOTTOM and ARTICLE SHARE TEXT, but even doing that, no share buttons appeared.
In the section “Social Networks”, the only option that appears us for selecting is NAVER. We’ve filled with our social media links, the PANEL’S section SOCIAL NETWORKS. We’ve added facebook, Instagram, Soundcloud, Twitter, Vimeo and Youtube. Yet none of them appears as a configurable option inside Post Settings.
What could be happening? None of the default post templates displays us the share buttons. Can we solve this?
2. Youtube linkage problems
We’re trying to add a Youtube Video Playlist in the Home Page that we’re designing, so we’ve tried to use the “Youtube Video Playlist” from the TagDiv composer, but it’s not working. We’ve tried adding the videos id, and also the whole links, but none of them are working, which is something that doesn’t happen with the Vimeo option.
This YOUTUBE connection problem has also appeared in the “Social Counter” element, where the social media counter for facebook, twitter and Instagram is working, but the Youtube channel id doesn’t load any info.

It’s almost like the whole theme is broken. Inside the Composer it can’t even select and add elements or delete elements.
I think the problem is because there are random parts of theme 9.8 that is being called on the server instead. But I’m pretty sure I deleted all of 9.8 when I added 10.3. So I don’t know how to fix it.

My site is Lawyer.com.au but none of the Theme Composer is working. It won’t save or allow me to make changes to the front end.
After today’s feedback (see below) from Ninja Forms Support, I open this case here:
If a date field is inserted in a form (with date picker), the entire form is no longer displayed. This always happens when the composer is activated.
Here is the message from the Ninja support representative:
After testing with other add-ons momentarily disabled as well as temporarily on a default WordPress theme, I found that the conflict arises when the “tagDiv Composer” add-on was active.
When temporarily disabling “tagDiv Composer”, the error no longer occurred and the form part containing the Date field displayed correctly.
I have left all add-ons and theme in their original states. At this time, we recommend reaching out to the developers of the tagDiv Composer plugin for additional assistance. Please let us know if their developers have any questions for our engineering team and we would be able to connect them

Problem #1
I just updated the theme, and a lot of blocs on different pages are now corrupted.
Some colors on text blocs disappeared after the update, and when I try to correct it via the tagDiv composer, it’s just full bugged and I can’t even access the blocks.
In the same spirit, some images blocs are now displayed as base64 (I guess) when I’m on edit mode, and I can’t even access the bloc to edit it.
Problem #2
When trying to import the Animals Pro category page (https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_animals_pro/category/animals/), the image space shows on the tagDiv editor, I can set an image as background, which is displayed in preview mode, but is ignored when used in a category, and I can’t find any documentation about that.
Hi, want to add a row with three buttons to my template. Thats already done. Each button should contain an ancor link. Onclick the user should be guided to a section of the same pages. Best case would be that onlick the page scrolls down to the top of the h2-title of the pages section.
What would be the best way to do this with your td composer / cloud library?

The problems seems to be the YouTube playlist from the demos, all demos that have a video playlist -> https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_racing/ will provide that error, to fix the problem you need to make sure that your Newspaper version is at least 10.3 and the YouTube api key is set in theme panel as in our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/youtube-api-key/

If you are using the mobile theme plugin that provide you a better speed then responsive version of theme, but in order to achieve that speed you’ll need to create a new content for pages because in the most of cases those were made with builders ( tagDiv Composer, WPBakery ) and you need to use only the mobile editor ( you need to set the content for pages in mobile editor and this content will be display on mobile theme)

Yes, you can achieve this using tagDiv Composer, for this on your page or homepage you need to use tagDiv Composer, add a row, this can be stretch and you can choose the layout you want -> https://i.imgur.com/pN6vZwR.jpg let’s that you make those settings -> https://i.imgur.com/ISdhMND.jpg now the row is set in 2 but you need it in 5 so you need to set a width in % on each empty column like this -> https://i.imgur.com/aNtYAfw.png -> https://i.imgur.com/vFhzXBl.jpg after that drag an inner row in each empty column -> https://i.imgur.com/FcUVItl.png -> https://i.imgur.com/wUvuvEl.png -> https://i.imgur.com/MlYoS7f.png and in this way you get the 5 columns.
Now for the part with the image and the pdf, you need to upload your images and pdf in media library -> https://i.imgur.com/kHNsioy.png in the empty inner column set a single image add the image and set the link of your pdf from media -> https://i.imgur.com/NkjWV6i.png -> https://i.imgur.com/kJ3OJ1u.png do the same for the rest of the images, also you can use the right click to save the element you customize.

You can set a sidebar bar but not on a fix position, for example you can use a smart sidebar -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/smart-sidebar-2/ or you can create sticky columns for sidebars using tagDiv Composer -> https://tagdiv.com/multiple-sticky-sidebars/

For the second problem, make sure that you do not have a plugin conflict, please deactivate ALL plugins except tagDiv plugins, also if you are using child theme or cache plugin, deactivate them, clear all cache and try again.
Also, please make sure that all the settings are like in our requirements, please follow the guide carefully

If I’m right this is the error you get -> https://i.imgur.com/m4DkfWk.png then what Vlad mentioned is true, there is a conflict on few elements between tagDiv Composer and WPBakery, for me this problem is solved after I deactivate the WPBakery -> https://i.imgur.com/1UFeWnp.png -> https://i.imgur.com/feXoejx.png, if you deactivate the WPBakery and problem persist, please make sure that you do not have anther plugin that can provide a conflict, also make sure that you clear all cache.
Our developers were inform about this plugin conflict and will try to solve it for the coming updates.

I have enable sticky menu in tagDiv Composer, but the header disappears when strolling down and only appears when stroll up again for a while. Is there a way to make the header always sticky?

I have a Newspaper, but not only online. I would like to create a simple page with the display on 5 columns of each cover (that can be a jpg file of cover) and when they click they will download or display the pdf file attached to this jpg cover image. My question is how can i just crerate a column and divide it in 5 parts. I don’t want any posts inside? I know i’m new in you TAGDIV composer but i do wordpress site for a long time and i don’t get the logic on yours as yet… It will come

There are two shortcodes in particluar in the tagDiv Composer that I am curious about, namely “Column text” and “Text with title”.
I used the “Column text” on one page but I needed a title also so I removed that and used “Text with title” instead but I didn’t find any difference. I think you’re referring to Block Header when you’re talking about the title but it’s also present in “Column text”. Then what’s the difference?

I was trying to enter a shortcode in to the Pro footer template using the column text element. When I go to edit the text, the text editor will not open. I simply get a blank dialog box with the circle spinning in the middle.
Then when I try to save, I get another spinning box and the page will not save.
Then when I try to edit the template with TD Composer, that option is not available. When I click edit I get the standard WP text editor and all of the TD Composer shortcodes…
How in the heck am I supposed to make new templates to get rid of the legacy code when the editor doesn’t work.
Yes, I have disabled ALL plugins except tagDiv Cloud Library, tagDiv Composer and tagDiv Social Counter.
That did nothing to help the problem.
