Hi,

Please add a class to the page content in the page template that you use like this: http://screencast.com/t/ZHdhM52SO and use custom css to change color to white(or any color) only for right border: http://screencast.com/t/kEOpFkaf

.border-right .td-container-border:after{
background-color: white;
}

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I’m not sure what you mean to change the width of tagdiv gallery. This slider was designed to be used on 2 columns(with sidebar) or 3 columns(post full width – without sidebar) like you can see on our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/tablet-sales-surged-in-the-first-quarter-of-2013/http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/services-allow-you-to-do-things-like-scan-a-document/
You can try to customize how you wish using css code as there is not a fast(or easy) solution for this.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can try to add background using css code: http://screencast.com/t/9g1oaC7WKLI

.td-header-style-8.td-menu-background {
background: linear-gradient(to bottom, rgba(18, 112, 237, 1) 0%, rgba(26, 150, 215, 0.23) 100%) !important;
}

Thanks!

Hi,

Try this custom css for Big Slide:

.td-sbig-title-wrap .td-sbig-title:hover, .td-sbig-title-wrap a:hover {
text-decoration: none !important;
}

Thanks!

@Alin Thanks, but it’s not helping because at most i can set the border color to be white to make it disappear. But if there are elements such as ads or images it has white line on it. So either I set the color to ‘transparent’ or set the border width to 0 in css file. So if you can tell me which CSS ID/Class it is I can do it.

Much appreciated.

Hi,

Unfortunately the theme doesn’t have an option for this. What you can do is to use media queries and customize you homepage to look different on mobile screens(change font size and hide some rows/columns).
For example change font size on mobile screen: http://screencast.com/t/XXN14Px3GI4
Also you can use an extra class for rows that you want to hide on mobile: http://screencast.com/t/tVNpF4zv and use custom css to hide: http://screencast.com/t/N2LGI3Ms4zKK

@media (max-width: 767px){
.hidemobile{
display: none !important;
}
}

Hope this helps!

Hi,

You have this issue because this theme class is applied there – http://screencast.com/t/BZI4CmHep You can try to delete that class from style.css so it wont be applied that width on images: http://screencast.com/t/kAeTYm3jITy
Or you can try this custom css in Theme Panel > Custom Css: http://screencast.com/t/BTaxyjFrhfWt

@media (max-width: 500px){
.page .google_top_posts .gtc-content-thumb img{
width: 50px !important;
}
}

Also if you want this only on specific pages you can use .page-id-xxx class instead of .page: http://screencast.com/t/q5KNMGYQIP

Hope this helps!

Hi,

I’m not sure if you refer to this, but you can try this custom css in Theme Panel especially if you use like buttons I think it may help: http://screencast.com/t/rLWy09gB5Sv

@media (max-width: 767px){
.single .td-social-sharing{
margin-bottom: 10px !important;
}
.single .td-social-like-tweet{
margin-bottom: 10px !important;
margin-top: 0px;
}
.td-social-like-tweet ul li{
display: inline-block !important;
}
}

Also please note that these share buttons will be modified in version 5 of Newspaper it will look something like Newsmag share buttons.

Thanks!

Hi,

Not sure I understand right what you want to do but if you want to have the desktop version of your site on mobiles you would have to remove the media query’s for mobiles. Go to your style.css file and remove this media query which target the mobile screens: http://screencast.com/t/qwj0h0gSRvfP
Hope this helps!

Hi,

The css has been altered after changing to rtl so you need to overwrite it like this: http://screencast.com/t/mGJuaE9eyb

Use the css below in theme panel custom css section.

.td-mobile-nav-wrap {
left: -80%;
right: auto;
}

Thanks

Hi,

You will need custom modification as you can see on that site is used module 10 but the image size is changed – http://screencast.com/t/6p4GJp6d7f also on mobile the excerpt is hidden and is used an extra class(id) for css customization: http://screencast.com/t/tbYT5JXpXIHhttp://screencast.com/t/pQe1cG0gLg

Thanks!

Hi,

I see that you managed to solve this with Lucian css: http://screencast.com/t/cRG2pbFqC
Also your css for other blocks/modules gradient should work: http://screencast.com/t/mzrc4z43O7 you can also try display none:

.td-module-thumb a:last-child:before{
display: none !important;
}

Thanks!

Hi I would like to remove borders from the theme. I can see that .td-pb-row [class*=”td-pb-span”] handles the left-border, but I didn’t find any css property for rigt border of pages. Could someone point in the right direction please?

Hmmm..

I think my priority is SPEED first before LOOKS. Might just have to suck it up and deal with it.

Thanks for the suggestion. If I was to make those changes in style.css of the CHILD theme, would it work just as well? I’m concerned about future upgrades when changing code on the original theme.

Hello,

How can I copy this functionality from Newsmag? http://screenshot.net/3g7g9f8.jpg

I’ve managed to implement this code

.entry-title :hover{
background-color: rgba(1, 155, 209, 1) !important;
color: white !important;
text-decoration: none !important;
transition: all 250ms ease;
}

but it only works when I’m over the post title. I want it to change the same way and at the same time when I’m hovering the post thumbnail.

Is this possible?

Thank you.

Hi,

With my Newspaper theme I get exactly the same issue as “khancept” discribed. I already searched for all #4db2ec in my style.css and replaced it with my own color. Unfortunately it still occurs.
You can see my issue here:

Please give me further advice.

Thanks,
Loano

Hello,

Lucian requested me to start a new thread here regarding the issue of not being able to change the footer’s text color.

I have tried the code he gave me:

.td-footer-container, .td-footer-container .block-title > a, .td-footer-container .block-title > span, .td-footer-container .entry-title > a, .td-footer-container .entry-title > span, .td-footer-container a, .td-footer-container .meta-info .entry-date { color: red; }

I posted it on the Theme Panel > Custom CSS section

Then I changed the word “red” to “black” (I assumed that’s how it works? And Saved but got Nothing, the Text on the Footer is still the same.

Could you please help me?

Hi guys,

Does anybody know how to remove the margin between two visual composer columns?

I’m trying to create a page that has a grid of content blocks where everything lines up right next to each other
e.g. 4 columns of single images

I’ve set the margin and padding to 0 using the Design Options within visual composer on both the content item and the column it self.

It removes the margin above and below but it has no affect on the margin between columns.

I’ve even created a CSS style with {margin: 0 !important; padding: 0 !important;} but that didn’t work either.

How can this be done?

Hello. We got this theme for one of our websites, but everytime I save a new changed options from the Theme Options panel, the last saved settings get overwrite.
Example:
– I change the background of the site – Save – Everything OK.
– I go and add a new Custom CSS rule – Save – CSS Rule saved, but the background that i saved before disappear.

This was an example, the issue happens no matter what settings I change.
