Hi,
Some header style display indeed a gradient – https://www.screencast.com/t/fuMlZbHDJp
It could be removed if needed, with a code like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/RdIk2Ym2
.td-header-gradient:before {
display: none;
}
The code can be entered in the theme panel custom CSS section.
Thanks
Hi,
In order to show the date please go in Newspaper> theme panel> block settings > meta info on modules/blocks and activate the data https://www.screencast.com/t/cz2V8J84
For the second part you need to ad this custom css in Newspaper> theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
.td_block_9 a{
color: white;
}
.td_block_9 .td-post-date{
color: lightblue;
}
.td_block_9 .td_module_8{
border-bottom: 0;
}
You can change the color and ad more parameters if you want

Hello
Thank you for your response. Not that smart list. I use this smart list:
Is it possible to make user jump to Heading title after they access the next page onward with custom CSS? So they don’t have to bother scrolling down again. 🙂
Hi,
Smart list style 4 doesn’t have any pagination
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/smart-list-style-4/
I can’t say I tried something lie you are describing, maybe it would be possible with CSS.
Thanks

You are probably uploading the whole theme package. You have to upload only the theme zip file, not the whole package which contains other items

Hi,
To Hide the category please follow the documentation:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/category-tag-on-modulesblocks/
Theme modules and blocks -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/theme-blocks-modules/
The category on your module will be :
https://www.screencast.com/t/IFeDEhOi62
https://www.screencast.com/t/TwdSCZNw7
If this is what you want : https://www.screencast.com/t/ulf6wQLgCE
Please ad the below custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
Code for background color
.td-grid-style-4 .entry-title {
background-color: orange;
}
Code for title color
.td-big-grid-post .entry-title a {
color: black;
}
You can change the color if you want.
Hope this will help you.
Thanks.
Hi,
1. From what I can see the title breaks when there is not enough space
– https://www.screencast.com/t/UkljSSad
If it would not the result is like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/rLHnv33V
– https://www.screencast.com/t/nuEuV19AwZ
From what I can find hyphenation of words is possible but not for all languages and may not work in all browsers
– https://css-tricks.com/almanac/properties/h/hyphenate/
I believe that is why the current word break was implemented.
2. It would be better to use a shadow, there are plenty of shadow generators online. For example a quick test I made
– https://html-css-js.com/css/generator/box-shadow/
– https://www.screencast.com/t/pABY7aPdQ
– https://www.screencast.com/t/TR7fI9Ras6p
You can design a shadow how you like it and use this code to apply it (code can be entered in Theme panel->Custom CSS) simply replace the values I used in the example
.td-header-menu-wrap {
-webkit-box-shadow: 0px 5px 31px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.27);
box-shadow: 0px 5px 31px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.27);
}
Header style 6 that you are using doesn’t underline the active menu items, it colors their background
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4TYnzCHPQY5P
I could give you a code to make it visible, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1LsDVN0jIZD
– https://pastebin.com/VTwu8faP
If you want you can chnage the color of the underline in the code.
Thanks

Hello
I want to give best user experience on Smart List (SM4) after they access the next page onward.
Is it possible to make user jump to Heading title after they access the next page onward with custom CSS? So they don’t have to bother scrolling down again.
I do make some test with this CSS:
html {
scroll-behavior: auto;
}
Source: https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_scroll-behavior.asp
But I failed.
Thanks
Hi,
If I understand correctly you refer at this css tab https://www.screencast.com/t/hnCSLsIqOON , if is so, then is no option to hide or disable the tabs.
You can hide it with custom css , for example Please the below custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
.tdc-tabs a:last-child{
display:none;
}
see results:
https://www.screencast.com/t/EsqnG3Xp
For WPBakery
https://www.screencast.com/t/j1dByLMcJg
https://www.screencast.com/t/nT1kJaRl
Hope this will help you.
.vc_ui-panel-header-container .vc_general li:nth-child(2){
display: none;
}
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
Seems the test detects that you do not use a CDN, that is not required however. You could use one and make tests. For example
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Using a CDN or a caching plugin may reduce the http requests as well
– https://torquemag.io/2018/02/how-to-reduce-http-requests-wordpress/
For expires headers you could check their documentation, maybe try what is suggested
– https://gtmetrix.com/add-expires-headers.html
The theme will serve a minified javascript already, for CSS minification you could do it manually for example
– https://cssminifier.com/
Or try plugins that can do this automatically (these could create problems in some cases).
Also check with your hosting, maybe they have optimizations services or modules they can activate server side.
Thanks
Hi,
1. Seems to be a mistake. That setting Catalin mentioned is for the slide element. For the big grid slide category tag these 2 settings have to be enabled
– https://www.screencast.com/t/fc2D0Rd8O6e
The big grid slide is based on big grid 2, they share these category tag settings. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
2. That issue seems to be caused by a demo customization, in the Gadgets demo you have installed. I will add this issue on our list and it will be fixed in the next update. The gadgets demo uses a different grid in the homepage, with some custom design. That design seems to apply to the big grid slide you use. It will be made more specific if possible, so it does not affect other elements.
As a quick fix please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
– https://pastebin.com/JHTbvyMk
Result – https://www.screencast.com/t/gJCoOVcYu
5. We are aware of this issue, the thumbnails are indeed distorted. A solution will be found for this as soon as possible. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Maybe a temporary solution would be to make the 2 bottom modules of the grid display like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/IAJAUQoMUl
If you should consider it, enter this code in Theme panel->Advances CSS in the phones field
– https://pastebin.com/2V3JrCbC
6. The background will be loaded on all devices when set, it is basically the same website but responsive. I have tested your website for a while on a mobile, kept refreshing pages or browsing. I don’t see the background at all on mobile.
7. With a background the width of the theme will be 1164px
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3MQBNqdaxIZ
The dimensions you are using should cover the screen since they have the same width and the background is set to 100% (when using the theme panel setting)
– https://www.screencast.com/t/taYOopLc
You seem to have set the background a different way from what I can see.
Let us know if you have more questions.
Thanks
Hi,
Please use the below custom css , past it in Newspaper>Theme Panel>Custom code> Custom css
body[class*=paged][class*=postid-253563] .td-post-title {
display: none;
}
https://www.screencast.com/t/j0kcKZme
This css will work only in this post ( because of postid-253563, if you want to al post replace the postid-253563 with single )
Thank you for your understanding.

Hi,
All the code entered in the theme panel is saved in the database of the website. So even when the theme is removed/updated the code will not be lost.
If you entered a CSS code this will be loaded after the theme CSS is loaded. For example using this code
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DYd9cROyK8bR
It can be seen in the page source that it’s loaded like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/353qdYQYS
Thanks
Hi,
1. I don’t quite understand what shadow you refer, please provide some screenshots with the problem.
2.Please read about Create custom code with the browser’s Inspector or the Live CSS Box
https://www.screencast.com/t/ZcY9bP81cqBy
.widget_product_tag_cloud span,
.widget_archive span
{
background-color: lightgray;
color: gray;
}
.widget_product_tag_cloud .block-title,
.widget_archive .block-title
{
border-color: lightgray;
}
Hope this will help you.
Thank you.
Hi,
1. If those are shortcodes provided by Visual composer then they wouldn’t be rendered by the tagDiv composer. They won’t be recognized. Blocks, grids and other theme specific elements will work with both composers because they are available in both.
On the other hand, if those shortcodes are provided by a plugin, in the tagDiv composer they can be entered in a column text for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/EeFM8r6L
2. The top menu is not displayed on mobile. If necessary it can be made visible with some CSS, for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/WYd9WoqoR
I removed the socials because they are also displayed in the mobile menu window, if you want them in the top menu as well as in the mobile menu I will modify the code. Let me know.
Enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section, then the top menu will appear on mobile.
@media (max-width: 767px){
.td-header-top-menu,
.td-header-top-menu-full,
.td-header-sp-top-menu {
display: block!important;
text-align: center;
}
.td-social-icon-wrap{
display:none;
}}
Thanks
1 – that option is enabled but the categories are not shown
2 – ok i’ll try but there is too much space from the bottom anyway. Look at the red lines https://ibb.co/kJiRxq maybe it’s the category that pushes the writing down?
3 – ok thanks i’ll try
4 – ok. this is not a big problem anyway.
5 – yes, it is similar but they are both wrong. It is clearly seen that the photo has been distorted by the width. look at the picture above.
6 – no, you did not understand the problem. I do not mean the google ads below. I refer to the background ads. From Background —> THEME BACKGROUND and also in the ads panel —> BACKGROUND click ad. I set the image as you can see from here https://ibb.co/kmNiSq.
The problem is that the background is also loaded on the phone. For the background I set CUSTOM CODE —> ADVANCED CSS —> DESKTOP this code: .td-header-wrap {margin-top:115px;}. I don’t know why but on mobile layout, when pages are loading (for example when I click on an article on the homepage), I see for a few seconds the background that I set in the site. Is it not possible to prevent the ad from being loaded into the mobile version? look at the picture https://ibb.co/cVN07q
This is a page that is loading and you see the amazon logo that has been set as background. It’s really bad to see it during the loading of pages…moreover, there is no need to load additional content in the background on mobile phones. It is a useless data consumption
7-Are this dimensions correct? this is may psd file for create custom background ads https://ibb.co/jBSxLA
anyway my pc is 1920×1080 but if i set that background with the same dimensions, on the left and right side remain white spaces. Why? the resolution is the same. Look here https://ibb.co/kQZBfA
to cover the white part I had to set the size on photoshop at 2200px wide. I do not understand why.
I found this post https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/how-to-hide-page-views-on-amp/, maybe it is not possible to do this with CSS in AMP ?
Hi,
How to do the same with TAG DIV AMP PLUGIN ? I don’t find custom css section…
Thank you
Hi
I´ve added my css snippet in the Custom CSS area of the Theme Panel and I want to know if this snippet is added to my database or overwritte another file. The code appears at the end the html document. How does it work?
Thank you
Hi,
You can use tagDiv Cloud Library and get a template for posts and set just Related article ( https://www.screencast.com/t/mzJrovYK6 ), or you can use some custom css
.td_block_related_posts .td-related-title > .td-related-right {
display: none;
}
See results: https://www.screencast.com/t/tB45M1Bhk
Set the custom css in Newspaper>Theme panel>Custom code>Custom css
Thank you.
