Hi,
Maybe that will be possible with some CSS. Please provide a link to your website and detailed information about what space you need removed. I will try to give you a solution. Some screenshots with comments will also be helpful if possible, in addition to the website link.
Thanks
OK we found the error. The tagdiv CSS Generator don’t unsterstand comments 🙁
From what I can see online the CSS text-shadow would be supported by most browsers, so there should not be any problem with that code
– https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/text-shadow
– https://www.w3schools.com/cssref/css3_pr_text-shadow.asp
Hi,
That would be the cascade effect in which CSS works. If multiple CSS code is used for the same element then the first one will be loaded firs, then the second etc. The black background color is the initial color set for that header style, you could remove it form the theme stylesheet
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Vcg3ho5y6Ph
Also there is a default color set for the menu items
– https://www.screencast.com/t/ck9TcE4kUV42
Try removing these codes and see how it looks. If you used custom code try entering it directly in the theme stylesheet so it will be loaded faster.
Thanks
Hello,
You can see the break point sizes in the advanced css section under the custom code tab of the theme panel: https://www.screencast.com/t/qIZPowEr8nnT
Thank you!
Hi,
That happens because CSS loads in cascade, first the black color will be loaded then then white one. The black demo has custom design to be black, if you want to make modifications to it and remove the black color, you could do it in the demo stylesheet directly instead of overriding it.
This is where the black color is set for the theme elements, if you want remove some of them or make the modifications you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/e4vafpPBh
Thanks
Hi,
I believe that is a background color set for the block, edit the page with the tagDiv composer and select the block, then check in the CSS tab->background color
– https://www.screencast.com/t/DvVT3bAl
Thanks
Hello,
Css cannot be rewritten too many times. There comes a point where a custom css cannot rewrite the original code anymore. I cannot provide any code that will rewrite the css. You will have to remove it from your custom css and remove the padding from style.css:
https://www.screencast.com/t/4lotTy1k Once both these paddings are removed, the images go full width: https://www.screencast.com/t/xcJ767Mm9
The bar on the right is a scroll bar. That can be removed like so:
::-webkit-scrollbar {
display: none;
}
Thank you!
Hi,
We are aware of this issue and we will fix it in the next update. Indeed when setting a background color for the text with title, the text will be behind the background. Please enter this code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section
.td_block_text_with_title .td-element-style {
z-index:-1;
}
It will fix the issue – https://www.screencast.com/t/xo0nLdfM7Bb4
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!
Hi,
You could use a code like this one for example
– https://www.screencast.com/t/HxnQVfHp
It will change the color of the font in a text with title element as you wish. Use the color you want and enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS
.td_block_text_with_title h4 {
color: yellow;
}
Thanks
Hi,
Indeed there seems to be an issue with the mobile theme accent color, I will add this issue on our list and it will be fixed as soon as possible.
In the meantime I could give you a code to color the elements you want. This code will color the post content links and the scroll button with the color you want
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Db0CzAQ1j
.td-post-content a {
color: #f30f0f;
}
.td-scroll-up {
background-color: #f30f0f;
}
Enter it in Theme panel->Mobile theme->Custom CSS section. I will provide additional code if you want until the issue is taken care of. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you!
I’d like to add a text-shadow to the white text on both the home page and category pages.
Can you provide some cross platform/cross browser css to apply this?
It should apply to the title text on the full-width header of the following pages:
https://cubanarts.xyz/
https://cubanarts.xyz/category/visual-arts/
I tried the following but it only works in Chrome.
Thanks.
/*! CATEGORY ARTICLE TITLE DROP SHADOW */
.td-full-layout .td-category-grid-fl .td_block_big_grid_fl_1 .td-big-grid-post .entry-title,
.td-full-layout .td-stretch-content .td_block_big_grid_fl_1 .td-big-grid-post .entry-title {
font-size: 32px;
line-height: 38px;
text-shadow: 1px 1px #000;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9);
-webkit-text-shadow: 1px 1px 1px #000; /* for chrome */
-text-shadow:1px 1px 1px #000; /* for all browser*/
-moz-text-shadow:1px 1px 1px #000; /* for firefox */
-o-text-shadow:1px 1px 1px #000; /* for opera */
-ms-text-shadow:1px 1px 1px #000; /* for ie 9+ */
-khtml-text-shadow:1px 1px 1px #000; /* for gecko based browser*/
-webkit-filter: drop-shadow(1px 1px 1px rgba(0,0,0,0.9));
-ms-filter: “progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Dropshadow(OffX=1, OffY=1, Color=’#000′)”;
filter: “progid:DXImageTransform.Microsoft.Dropshadow(OffX=1, OffY=1, Color=’#000′)”;
}
Hello all,
https://todaycycling.com/tour-de-france/
We do have a situation, can you see the “black & blue main menu” load ? It happens before our child theme css is applied on the page.
I wanted to know how I can deregister the script that adds the Newspaper’s CSS from /themes/Newspaper.
Thank you 🙂
how to change the background color in the following block (on style.css)?
https://snag.gy/NgPBYf.jpg
That top ad should be an ad of a maximum of 696px, that is the width of the post content. Seems that ad is larger and it displays below the sidebar.
I could give you a code to position the whole sidebar lower
– https://www.screencast.com/t/1KysHjqBRQDc
You can use the value you want in the code, then enter it in Theme panel->Advanced CSS in the desktop section
.single .td-main-sidebar {
top: 320px;
}
Hi,
Indeed, our AMP plugin does not feature a menu at the moment. This is similar to the Yoast SEO website which is leading in SEO solutions
– https://yoast.com/social-media-optimization-with-yoast-seo/amp/
Adding a menu will be considered in the future, the plugin is still at the beginning.
The logo will be the one set for mobile, so make sure you have one set
– https://www.screencast.com/t/APN4AoJf4Ld
A custom CSS section for AMP does not exist at the moment. This will be added in coming updates. If you want to add custom CSS you could add it directly in the plugin. This is a similar topic
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/custom-css-in-amp-posts/
Thanks
Thanks for the help I forgot to tell you that it is another plugin and I will add the css to see if it works
ok , now that actually worked …Jesus ? Thank You Simion
Now onto the next issue , the sidebars , if you go into any of my articles, the ad over the title gets overlapped by the ad on the side bar , this happens only on desktop. Prior to the update , i was able to move the sidebar using the css option in the widget which is no longer available due to the new update
Ah I see…
Then… Are there any ways to make the width of featured images to a certain percentage and make them centered??
I tried below CSS but it does not work very well…
————————-
.td-image-wrap {
max-width: 70%;
margin: 0 auto;
}
————————-
The images themselves became 70% width and centered but other parts (category name, post title, author name and date) stays where they were…
Please see this picture.
You could use another code that will override that one, like this
– https://www.screencast.com/t/YgpFbvQNV
.td-blog-fitness .td_module_wrap:hover .td-module-title a {
color: blue !important;
}
Use the color you want in the code, then enter it in Theme panel->Custom CSS section.
That modal is not the theme modal so I could not say why it displays like that
– https://www.screencast.com/t/Z6OTlZ7VBB3
I could give you a code you could try to make the modal a little lower when opened
– https://www.screencast.com/t/J3MZyhtJ
#myModal .modal-content {
margin-top: 200px;
}
Enter the code in Theme panel->Custom CSS section.

I just installed AMP plugin and looks like a lot of features are missing. The logo is missing on the frontend, there is no menu, and no way to edit CSS for AMP. Here’s the link of the site: https://dubaiposter.com/blog/
Hi,
Please use this custom css code:
.home .entry-crumbs{
display:none!important;
}
.home .td-crumb-container{
margin-bottom:0;
padding-top:0
min-height:25px;
}
Thank you!
Hello Catalin,
How to create text on a page from which the font type and size can be changed by settings in the theme panel. I do not prefer to work with CSS. Its quite elementary to change a webfont without using CSS code I think?
Many thanks,
Ad
