This error is the probability you have an older version of the theme and the multi-purpose plugin was included in the tagDiv Composer and is no longer required. Please check if you use the last version of WordPress with the last theme version Newspaper 10.3.9.1, also make sure that the theme update was done correctly =>https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ (before the update, make a full backup of all files, delete the files of the theme, not override).
The required plugins are: tagDiv Composer, tagDiv Cloud Library (if using Cloud Templates), tagDiv Standard Pack (if using Standard Templates, is not needed for Pro Demo), tagDiv Newsletter (for subscribe), tagDiv Social Counter (only if you use Social Counter), tagDiv Mobile Theme (is a light design version for post and is needed for new page content, this plugin is used to improve the mobile page speed, removing the fancy layout from desktop).

The newspaper “magazine pro” demo, which looks really amazing, has a block in it with the header TRAVEL GUIDES.
Having imported this demo into my WordPress site, I see it is a “big flex grid 1”, but there is no header and there are no header settings in the same way as the blocks have header settings under the General tab “Header settings”.
I wonder how it is created in the demo. I must be missing something very simple… I have version 10.3.9.1 and I have magazine Pro installed. Latest version of everything I think. Thanks!

The best solution is you need to create the website on a subdomain, maid the changes to the classic to pro demo and when it is ready at a time when you do not have many visitors to change it.

So, here’s what I did. I installed the Newspaper theme and uploaded the Gossip Demo. Then, I renamed the pages and did a few customizations on my laptop. I thought it’d automatically customize everything to fit all devices. Apparently it’s not the case. How do I do that?

I’ve been going mad over this one. When I apply a child-theme across the sites, I am getting odd behaviour where the mobile viewport reacted site gets pulled to the left and the logo appears to be shifted off-screen too.
It seems to happen when applying child-themes, if I re-activate the parent theme, it’s back to normal.
Please, god tell me you’ve seen this behaviour before, it’s been plaguing me for some time and I thought I had it resolved, but nope. Currently, I am in maintenance mode as I was performing a massive upgrade. This happening with child-themes is a show stopper.
For instance on the project website, fresh install of Newspaper, if I apply the version 9c child-theme you supply on some sites it will break like the above on others it applies ok.
For the demo image, I posted above. I created a fresh demo multi-site instance, tried version 9c child-theme on all subsites and it was fine. Added and applied my project child theme, and that’s how I took the picture of the bug.
The behavior is so badly intermittent, I’ve been desperately trying to track it down. There is nothing within the project child-theme css that causes this and have seen it working fine on some sites. Even if I remove all the css from the child-theme it still pulls to the left! It’s just because a child-theme is applied that it happens. No settings imported, everything standard.
Please, I am desperate for an answer as I currently on the clock in maintenance mode holding back 100k’s of visitors for the past few days. I’m totally out of options now and pray to God you’ve encountered this behavior before?

Hi – The right sidebar of my Home page https://piracymonitor.org contains a column of ads. Is there a way to create an image menu in the sidebar, similar to the Modern Architecture menu item on this demo page https://www.modernarchitecturaljournal.com ? – where if you hover over the item and menu is images – But, in the sidebar?

Hi – Where do I find the settings to make images appear in drop-down menus? I’ve looked “everywhere” in the theme panel and i can’t find it in the documentation either.

On my site: https://piracymonitor.org, I want the ‘Partners’ drop-down to show images (their logos, which can be the ‘featured images’ for these pages) and the other menu items to show just text/words (like the Contact Us item on that demo page).

I’m afraid I didn’t explain my inquiry in a thorough enough manner. I don’t want to edit the Coffee Blog demo as I do not have that one. What I mean is that I want the post title that is on the Estates demo to be like the post title on the “Coffee Blog” demo. Is this possible?
This is because the post title on the “Estates” demo is too big( about 970×250 in size) and occupies too much above the fold space, usually where ads should go.

This demo called “Coffee Blog” has a post template default, you can apply it but you can not edit it with TagDiv Composer.
You can modify your cloud template which you have now with our plugin ( documentation here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ ). So, you just drag and drop the element in the zone you want and it is possible, and if you like the design just save it and you can see the changes in your website too.

If you want to can use the mega menu on mobile like in our demos, then you must disable the mobile theme plugin, the mobile theme plugin is an extra mobile theme that we provide to be used on mobiles, this is lighter and will not display the pages and also the mega menu will not work.
To have the mega menu o mobile use the responsive version and make sure that is set as in our guide from here https://forum.tagdiv.com/mega-menu/ make sure that you have added a category and this is made as a mega menu -> https://i.imgur.com/AkAcmIa.png or if it is a custom link make sure that this has a link to a category -> https://i.imgur.com/7Li5EHe.png then when you are on mobile on a mega menu without subcategories, you’ll be redirected to the category set -> https://i.imgur.com/WBIDooS.png, also if it is a mega menu with subcategories it will be displayed on mobile a sub-menu with the subcategories ->https://i.imgur.com/gXDlZty.png

First of all, I recommend you to make a full backup.
1. Standard Pack is used only for default templates and not for a cloud/PRO templates. In your case, if you will use only cloud templates, then you can uninstall the Standard Pack plugin.
If you want to install a demo and for that demo is required an extra plugin, then you should have that plugin installed in order to display the demo correctly.
2. When you install the demo without content, it should take and put your posts automatically. Normally, this will not affect your previous posts.

I’m currently using the Standard Pack with the default version of the Newspaper 10 theme. However, I am interested in removing all dependencies and deactivating the Standard Pack for increased site speed. I have a few questions regarding this process:
1. Will solely installing a demo marked with the “PRO” label be enough to remove ALL dependencies and deactivate the Standard Pack without breaking the site?
2. I have 37 posts on my blog with plenty of images- as such, I do not want to include the PRO demo’s dummy content. By leaving the “Include content” option OFF when I proceed to install the PRO demo, will the demo automatically import and add all of my 37 posts(with their own images) into the site?

What is the most speedy setup in terms of loading time and loading size for the template?

As far as I understand … Cloud library is much faster than demo install, because the CSS files are only template specific and also I do not need to install standard pack to use the templates from cloud library? Also can I deactivate cloud library plugin after installing the different templates from the cloud library?

No, i do not mean than, i mean, that is already setup, it is not showing an image, from picture that i have sent, you can see it is blank…
So, to resume, uploaded image (i found some backg from your demo) inserted, no repeat, fixed, after that went to ads, inserted google as link, and checked open in new tab.
Reload web, it gives nothing blank left and right, even web is in boxed view, only linked white to google.com

Please provide more details about your smart list settings that you made, some screenshots.
2. If I understand correctly you want that featured image from post with a smart list to display the featured image only on blocks/grids and not inside the article, if it is so, then you can achieve this on a standard post template without a featured image ( style 5 or style 12 => https://i.imgur.com/g7bmCx5.png), or with a featured image using a custom code CSS to hide the featured image inside the post or a better option is to use a single post template special for a smart list from tagDiv Cloud Library => https://www.screencast.com/t/9MxUbtMt9 where you edit the layout using the tagDiv Composer and remove the elements that you don’t want (the featured image)
