How implement in my setup demo link setup how guide as soon as possible
I think may be my question was not framed the right way or i didnt know what to call it. i found the solution. Actually in the Newspaper theme it is called Smart List.
1. Ok now I have set up a smart list and during preview I cant view it as smart List. why does this happen ? also the Post templates in my Post > Post Settings are kind of greyed out or washed out (like kind of inactive) Same is the case for the Smart list templates. should i activate something or install something to activate the post templates and smart list templates.
2. I have create a smart list and choosen Smart List 3, I published the smart list without a featured image because I didn’t want the featured image appearing on every slide. then the front page appears without a featured image if I use the featured image then every page has this image and the actual slide or list item image is not appearing fully.

Is there a way to set up the smart list with featured image but hide them on individual post pages?

Hi rogerdirp, depends on the demo that you are using, if there is no extra css class on body -> https://i.imgur.com/WewImyg.png if there is no class then you can use the options from theme panel -> https://i.imgur.com/fRM6KB8.png If there is set a class, then in most cases you need to use a css to overwrite the set code with that class. The css need to be place here -> https://i.imgur.com/mOZos7u.png

Hi,
creating or modifying a category, it seems that the background image is loaded correctly but on the relative page it doesn’t appear, returning to the admin area, the relative field returns empty every time.
The published article, in addition to not having the image of the related category, appears to be partially compromised in terms of rendering.

When you install a demo with content/without content and a cloud/PRO template, you can modify the design of that page with TagDiv Composer plugin ( tutorial here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/tagdiv-composer-tutorial/ )
So, in this case you can delete easily every elements that you don’t want on the page/post by clicking on them, drag & drop the element at the bottom of the page in the red zone.
We have a lot of elements which you can add with TagDiv Composer and some settings for each element also. If you will search about them in our documentation from this website, then you will find out how to use and which is suitable for your needs.

In this demo design are more rows and in each row a sidebar has the option sticky enabled.
If you use a cloud/PRO template, then you can build that too by selecting the sidebar that you want to be stationary and select their column and set up the option sticky.

Please note that since you are using a PRO Demo, this is fully customizable using tagDiv Composer. Theme panel section will not have that much of an effect over it anymore.
Can you send us 2-3 screenshots of what settings you would like to make and can’t make them. Also send us a screenshot of your filtering options to see what may be an issue there.

just installed London Pro theme demo.
in the demo, below logo – menu there is a block with
“Corona Virus United Kindom COVID-19 Statistics”.
Question is:
1) is it possible to show a different set of data? Example from Google Analytics or Social media stats (like: reach, engagement, followers, …etc…)? If yes, how to do it? Any simple instruction for a noob like me?
2) 2nd question: is there a guide and/or “how to” page with basic instructions for Newspaper theme? Am a starter in WP too, so don’t know if you could share some links for that too…

First we uninstalled other wirdpress plugins to see if they were conflicting. They were not. So, we had to totally uninstall the demo theme we selected and had to rebuild everything back. Once we did that, the crazy codes went away.
How do I get the body of the home page to scroll some while the sidebar remains stationary?
Example in the Demo here: Try scrolling the page and you will see sometimes the sidebar remains stationary while the content in the body scrolls. How can I accomplish this?

If the options from theme panel are not apply, that is because the demo that you use has an extra class on body -> https://i.imgur.com/Ov9dMcG.png that makes the default css stronger then the one from theme panel.
There are only two things that you can do:
1 remove the extra class from body to can use the theme panel settings.
2 use a stronger css to overwrite the one that is apply on the body class.

Acutally I have even tried to replicate it by building with blocks, but there are many details that would need to be set, like spacings, font sizes, which can’t be guessed.

In my Home Page menu, when I use tagdiv composer, the icons near categories are ok. But when I save and I go in the home page, the icons don’t exist. How can I resolve this problem? I have already re-import demo data.

That is an element that is added in the demo, is Video Playlist => https://prnt.sc/10i2wpc and when you edit the homepage you will see like this => https://prnt.sc/10i2ybl
You can remove that with right-click => https://prnt.sc/10i2zne or selecting the element and with drag & drop place into the deleting red zone from the bottom right of the page.

In our theme, we have a flex block which can show also your author picture on the posts and you will have also some settings for that. But, unfortunately, there is no such a slider to achieve that.

I’ve just installed the London News Pro Demo, but there’s adverts everywhere. I want them all gone. I’ve disabled them all in the theme panel but they’re all still there, especially on posts!

Bettina thanks for the answer. As I said earlier, at your suggestion I am migrating from WP Bakery to TagDiv Composer precisely to avoid new conflicts.
Before sending the message, I had already done the test to re-upload the image and confirm it’s size and still has this blur effect. The image I’m using is from a newspaper demo that I installed.
The image problem remains unsolved as it happens to anyone I test. Could you help me please?
