The post content width is fixed, when a sidebar is used it is 696px in width, when no sidebar is used it will occupy the whole theme width.
There is a padding option that can be used when you do not use a sidebar (or when you use a sidebar), this will reduce the post content

I’m afraid I can’t provide a link to the website (not because I don’t want to) but because it’s an intranet page and not exposed to the internet. I’m using the demo-beauty theme, if that helps for the basis of the blog.
Interestingly, I believe I’m on version 8.6 but it seems that you have 4 top bar options and a “multi purpose” green option in your screenshot. I do not have this, how do you get this? This looks like the bar is right in the middle and it might fix my problem?
Also one more thing, my live search results are displaying results fine but the text colour of the results is white (or I can’t see it for some reason). When I hover over the results the text goes green (which is what I want). I’ve checked the search results colours section and I’ve got my text set to black, what can I do ?

I did this test before. You can see in the screenshot below, even allowing only theme plugins (tagDiv Composer, Mutilti-Purpose tagDiv, TagDiv Social Counter, Slider Revolution and Page Builder), the problem persists.
When I disable the “tagDiv Composer” plugin, the problem no longer exists.
I made a video to demonstrate the error, it is in Portuguese, but it is possible to verify how the error occurs.

You should provide the website URL so I can take a closer look. It’s possible to be specific for a certain demo style and place notice that you cannot combine the styles from more demos. You should import that demo if you want to have that style or if you want to do more, you should do it yourself through the code. (CSS for style)

I’m using the Craft Idea demo for my website and I like the look of the titles where it appears like a brushstroke but I’d like to change the color from yellow to another color (#70c3b7). How do I modify that? Or is that an image?
I’m using WP Exporter and WP Importer to do this. The posts are Video Posts, which (on the source site) display nicely with the video … but after importing them to NewsMag (Tech demo) no images appear. What am I doing wrong?

There is a home page demo that I like. It looks like the way the pages are built, I can edit the top part with the tag editor. But how do I change what category shows up in the big grid image? How do I specify what shows there…am I just stuck with the way it is? I’m pretty confused on the way it works. Is there a tutorial that would show me how to customize one of the homepage demo pages? Including the block and modules?? Blocks and modules..is there a place to define what goes in those somewhere. Thank you for any input.

I am able to add such block to subpages by moving the widget to the right place, but I would like to add a wide horizontal block at the bottom of the main page.

I got the following error while importing the default demo (WP_Debug is set to false already) –
“” tagDiv importer detected an error. The importer will try to recover and continue to install the demo after you click ok on this dialog.
Steps to troubleshoot:
– Check the permissions on your upload folder
– Please make sure that WP_DEBUG is set to false in wp-config.php

I press okay on the dialog and it eventually installs.

Seems like changing header color in theme panel doesn’t work properly. On my website http://dev.mega-media.hr/, which I created all by myself(no demos installed), I can’t change header background color. When I change it in theme panel it only works on few header styles. On example if I choose header “style 9”, by default background is white(or transparent). If I change it to red in Theme colors tab it works. But if I do same process on some other styles it’s doesnt change. If I choose header “style 12”, by default background is blue and I can’t change it to any other color.

1. Pot sa afisez si ora postarii, nu doar data? (pentru un website de stiri este important cine a publicat primul ca si ora si minut). WordPress implicit la postare are: data, ora si minut.
2. De unde customizez “author box” sa aiba poza si descriere?
3. Unde setez ca la articolele postate icoanele de share sa fie vizibile in mod automat si nu doar apasand icoana + (la voi in demo sunt afisate automat).
4. Pe fiecare poza este scrisa categoria. Are default background color negru si la mouse hover este albastra. Se pot schimba aceste culori din meniu fara custom CSS?
5. Cand editez demo-ul vostru cu TD Composer nu pot edita si “LATEST ARTICLES”, de unde incarcati aceste articole? Din ce locatie le customizez?
6. In footer de unde incarcati EDITOR PICKS si POPULAR POSTS? Din ce locatie le customizez?
7. Se poate ca la o postare care este adaugata in categoria “Featured” sa faca display pe homepage in loc de poza un videoclip Youtube? 8. De unde customizez “popup-ul” cu “mai multe articole” care apare in dreapta jos atunci cand accesezi un anumit articol?
#Sugestii:
1. Logo: Atunci cand ai facut ceva scroll pe pagina si dai scroll sus apare din nou meniul website-ului. Aici ar fi bine daca ar incarca logo-ul din mobile, sau alta varianta. Explicatie: Daca in logo ai un motto, cum aveti voi de exemplu: “the art of publishing” acel text nu mai este lizibil la scroll sus cand reapare meniul (asa este si in cazul meu).
2. Clasa “td-adspot-title” care face display la textul “- Advertisement -” este deja declarata de cei de la Adblock in “spam ads”, acesta clasa ar trebui “schimbata” la fiecare update de tema, sau mai ingenios generata in functie de un parametru unic pentru fiecare client, astfel sa le fie aproape imposibil sa o declare “spam ads” asa usor. Daca verificati cu Adblock plus inclusiv demo-ul vostru o sa vedeti ca “- Advertisement -” nu apare.
Apropo: Tema voastra functioneaza perfect cu Wordfence (antivirus, firewall cu +1 milion instalari active).
I installed the Craft Idea demos with just the settings. I’ve been tinkering with it to make edits the way I want my page to look but I’m stymied in a few places. The demo has that top main header background as a yellow color and I can’t find where to change it even after looking through theme colors which is where I thought it would be. I’d like to make it either red or perhaps try inserting an image there that could stretch across the entire background. Also in the footer section, I input my e-mail address in the field but there’s an About Me section above it which I can’t find how to change. (There was some about me text from the demo which I deleted since I already have an About Me page and not sure I want to have a tiny blurb down there about myself as well.) As for my recent blog posts that are being displayed, I’m curious if I can change the way the preview post text is formatted. Right now it’s center justified and I’m thinking about doing full justification but I can’t figure out how to change that as well. My homepage shows the latest posts so I’m not using a static page so I don’t have an actual specific home page.
