Hi there! Great theme, the best I have used in fact!
I am trying to add a border around my page (http://thehigharts.com/) similar to this demo: http://fox.withemes.com/
I have added this CSS:
body {
border: 3px solid black;
}
However there are two problems: 1. This border wraps the whole screen and not the content as shown in the demo above. 2. If I try to change the margins by adding margin: 30px; then I am able to shrink the border the way I want but there is a blue gradient on the left.
How do I remove the left gradient background and what is the correct code to make the border as the demo page I have included above (which is basically just a black border around the page content)?

I don’t understand why you would come to the conclusion that the theme you have purchased is not the Newspaper theme. Maybe you can explain and provide more details about this, for a better understanding.

The sub-categories have to be created first, create them like this

That is how the demo categories are created, using parent categories and sub-categories.
Then to create a simple drop-down menu arrange them like this

A mega menu with sub-categories can be created like this

The posts cannot be created with visual composer or the tagdiv composer. Posts are created with the tiny mce editor. What element is missing from your posts? What are you trying to recreate but cannot manage to? You cannot find a demo layout in the visual composer templates. That is why i posted the solution above to get the exact page from a demo but without content.

Sorry but the TD Composer should work as expected for all of our demos. I have tested on my website and it seems to returns best results, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/5OKVMzPiyJ1U
If the problem is still there, make sure that you have right installed the latest version of the theme via FTP way because this is the surest method in this case.

I have a problem.
Since the update to wordpress version 4.9 the error message appears in the backend at Plugins -> Add New: “stdClass :: $ plugin in */ wp-includes / class-wp-list-util.php on line 150”
The error does not disappear even if I deactivate all plugins.
The error disappears only when I deactivate the newspaper 8 theme.
I use Newspaper Default Demo.

Was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction – Pretty much a WordPress newbie here so still finding my way around. Thought I’d start off with the News Cafe Demo site and modify it from there. Having installed it with the demo content though, rather than showing up like the demo site does, the formatting is all off with blocks of code seemingly where the formatting should be.

im not sure you understand what i mean by the title in the block header.
please look at the title box a the bottom and notice the word “title”. it is surrounded by a blue box and a line which goes to the edge of the page. the shop demo of newspaper has this box around “latest products, featured sellers” and best selling products.

Just by a quick look at the inspector, I see the header items, which in fact were full width, as per your demo https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper_medicine/ , get caught by the style rule above.
Edit: The same goes for your site iafigliola. A dirty fix is to cancel out this rule and your page looks correct.

I installed the template on a test site but it is empty and it is not similar to demo it for a very long time to configure http://user1226491.atservers.net/ let download database – test kit filled with news that would be easier to edit
OK. Is there any way to implement the installation without demo content. For example, just create a page and then copy and paste it in the demo template? Or everything is based on visual perception will have to choose the right blocks?

Ok, in order to get just the layout but not the content, there is a trick you can make.
1. intall the demo with content so you get all of the posts, pages, etc.
2. make copies of the templates you are looking for, ex: pages, posts..etc.
3. uninstall the demo
4. Install the demo again but this time without the content.
This way you get to keep the layouts you need but without the extra content.
