Hello , I am using Greek as the language of my website !
But I have some problems with the fonts !!!
I installed the demo ”Travel Guides”
And as you see on my website taksidiotis.gr the fonts are different when greek
language is used and the official theme font is only used in English.
Please I need your help to solve this problem !
Also, I can’t Add or edit the Big Grid slider… It’s saying it’s there from the demo in the edit page mode backend but when I update page and view it, it doesn’t show up.
At joshrachlis.today, I installed the “Homepage-Blog” template, which is the basic blog template, and it just puts my last 2 posts at the top, but then there is nothing after it. And in the demo, it shows that there should be all my posts afterward. Is this template just not working? Is there another one that does the same thing?
Hello, we have a purchased version of Newspaper for one of our two websites, and we absolutely love it. We have a second website that we would more likely than not like to use the theme on (and would purchase a second license), but we want to go with one of the demo sites for the core template of this second site.
Unfortunately, our first site is now live, and there’s no way for me to test the demo templates without installing a second instance of WordPress on a subdomain. Would it be against the themes terms to do that in order to test the functionality?
We like the menu layout of the Car Enthusiast demo, but would like to use the Revolution Slider from the Travel Blog above the main menu bar. Is that possible?

I installed the latest Visual Composer V.4.12 and of course updated to Newspaper 7. For some reason, when I add the Newspaper demo, I can’t edit anything. I can’t add any new TD blocks, they don’t show up at all, in Visual Composer and even the demo blocks aren’t editable for me, (Title, Color etc…)
Any idea why that is?

I have installed the Newspaper Video News demo with demo content!
Is it possible to delete the demo posts an replace them with my own content? i.e keep the demo activated but start populating it with my own content?
The reason behind is that it seems virtually impossible to reproduce the same look and feel with set categories etc. without using the demo content.

Please notice that all of these changes could be done when you edit your homepage. There you will see all the ROWS and the COLUMNS and you can add anything you like. Also, if you want to change the banner you will have to edit the Revolution Slider content. Your site provides the error, yes, which means there is something on your side that is affecting it. Please disable all plugins except visual composer, clear cache and reset cdn files. Also if you have any custom code added, restore the theme to it;s default values. If you use a child theme, please activate the main theme and test again.

Please update your theme to the latest version by following this guide: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-update-the-theme-2/ and then update your plugins including visual composer, rev slider if you use it, and the social counter plugin. Please note that newspaper 7 comes with an optional mobile theme plugin that if used changes the style of the mobile version of your site. You can find more details about this here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
Also please note that visual composer and rev slider added registration messages in the newer version that must be ignored as the free versions cannot be registered.

Hey guys! Love the theme…Wanted to also share my issue with SSL and Newspaper 7 theme. We have everything done properly according to http://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-add-ssl-and-https-in-wordpress/. We tested the site using https://www.whynopadlock.com/check.php and everything is perfect accept for demo.tagdiv.com returned an error (Possibly 404 not found or other webserver error. Details: (see screenshot). We are using the sports theme demo for Newspaper 7.1. We have searched every where for a fix. Could you maybe point us in a different direction in order to fix the SSL? I am sure that this issue is probably very easy, but I am going to ask it anyway. In the Newspaper 7 Default Demo, the top bar and the footer extend all the way across my screen. I am trying to make a custom homepage myself. For whatever reason, my entire page seems to be on an over-arching background of white. The result is, for instance, that the top bar and the footer don’t extend from one side of my monitor to the other, like they do in the demo. Instead it is like you shrunk the whole display and put it on a background of white. Help please!

Hello. I’ve setup the world news demo and imported the revolution sliders. While everything else is working, in the slider area I get a message that sais :”No slides found, please add at least one Slide template to the chosen language”. However I checked and the slider has been set withing the visual composer (and the corresponding slider has been imported). Is this a bug, and how do we fix it?

If you like the travel demo’s style you can switch to it without losing any content unless you edited the demo content from your current demo install. If you created your own content and not edited the dummy data, then there will be no data loss.

Unfortunately we have not tested any jetpack galleries so I cannot say for sure how they should work, but jetpack is known to compress images and reduce quality dramatically especially photon. Try to disable jetpack and create a standard gallery and see if the images are still low res without jetpack.

and i have Grid 4 on my Home side with I CATEGORY POSTS TOP STYLE
and I want to have Grid 7
My all category have to grig 7 (with global settings to category), but my home page have not.

Please ensure that you are using the latest version of the theme (Newspaper 7.2 with Social Counter 4.1 and Visual Composer 4.12) in order to achieve best results. Also, if you are using some untested plugins, please try to disable all of these, clear all your caches and install only the plugins that come bundled with our theme and rule out the conflicting plugins. ‘Trending now’ is visible on mobile phones in our theme as you can see on our demo: http://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/ This is not the case if you use the mobile theme. The mobile theme does not use visual composer and trending now and other VC elements will not work with it. You can read more on the mobile theme here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/the-mobile-theme/
If you do not like the mobile theme you can disable it as it;s an optional plugin.

First, thank you for the Social Counter explanation. I didn´t know about styles and it worked perfectly.
But the other point I didn’t get it! I can´t have this kind of slider because it is not the demo that I choose? Right?

I asked about the line because the socials icons are much closer to menu in the travel blog demo than in my demo. Do you recomend any way to migrate my website to a new demo with no lost. Is that Possible? I really like my website but maybe with some changes it could be better.

Each demo has it;s unique custom style added to it. The slider is a revolution slider element that is provided in the theme package and the social counter plugin got an update in newspaper 7 that allows multiple styles to be set to it. https://forum.tagdiv.com/social-counter-styles-on-newspaper/
