Hello ladotg,
Sorry but please notice that problem does not come from our theme. You should contact your hosting provider and check if the requirements are checked. Also, you should read the following useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ if you want to increase your website loading.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hi,
There are many guides for speed optimization here in the forum, there are also online guides. Some topics here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Speed also depends on hosting provider, active plugins, number of ads displayed, there are many factors that affect the loading speed of a website
Thanks
That is the theme stylesheet, enter the code there. The result should be as shown in my screenshots, and also the code should apply faster and eliminate or reduce the period of time in which it is loaded.
Hello balu977,
Please notice that our theme does not have any such a problem regarding on CSS file dimensions and if the theme was correctly installed via FTP way, you should not have any problems. Please make a new clean install to another subdomain for testing via FTP way, clear all the caches and check the results. First of all, ensure that your system status parameters are correctly increased according to our documentation from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ I have tried to access your website but no success, sorry!
Notice that we have created a more useful guide for website optimizations which can be read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ Follow up the steps from here and try to optimize your website if is needed.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello balu977,
I have tried to access your website but it seems does not work, sorry! -> https://www.screencast.com/t/1coAThReet7 Contact your hosting provider and tell this problem. Regarding page speed, please check our useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks for your understanding!
The other menu still loads, it is behind the one added by the plugin. So it might be visible while the website is loading.
Try to enter the code I provided directly in the theme stylesheet instead of the theme panel, so it will be loaded faster and possibly eliminate the loading effect.
Hello seeit18,
Our recommendation to optimize your website is our useful tutorial from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello Simion, problem has been solved. We used PHP 5.6, hosting provider told me to switch to PHP 7.2. Thumbnails are ok now plus websites are much faster. Thanks a lot for your help. Have a nice day.
Andrea

Hi,
I have a pretty powerful server, but my site speed is pretty slow with NP8. I am working my way through https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ to resolve the issue, but I have think I may have found the culprit when running a performance test. The https://www.nysubway.com/wp-content/themes/Newspaper/style.css?ver=8.7.3 file takes a 3 full seconds to load, which is just nuts as it needs to load before any content. See the Screenshot below.
Please advise if this is correct.

Hello,
Please read this guide to learn about speedbooster’s functionality:

Hello biglipper,
Please notice that the images which come from Instagram can’t be controlled by our theme. All of these are delivered to the natural dimensions of the Instagram and the theme only resize them. Regarding your images from Latest Articles section, it seems to work as expected because the thumbs are there and work properly. If you want to reduce the image size, you should consult our useful guide from here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ and check the optimize images section because there you will know how you can do this with your images.
Thanks for your understanding!
Hello,
Bumping the topic up has the opposite effect on our forum. The faster way to get a response is to post only once and wait for an answer. Posting multiple times, will only move the topic to the more recent ones and we answer from oldest to newest. Also there was a holiday so we had Friday off. We do not work on weekends so that is why the delay.
In order to translate the theme strings, please use the theme translation section: https://forum.tagdiv.com/loading-translations/
Thank you!
Hello georgelaskos,
Please notice that the speed of your website depends on how well your site is optimized. Notice that is not a simple task and if you do not have any experience in this regard you will do not bring good results for the theme. Also, notice that we have a speed optimization tutorial but this is addressed only to advanced users. So, if you follow the steps which are presented in this tutorial here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ you can increase the page speed loading and if you are not aware of the steps in this regard, please consider hiring a freelancer/developer to help you because the speed optimization services are not covered by our support policy, as you can read here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/support-policy-2/ Check our documentation here -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/requirements-for-newspaper/ regarding on dedicated server to fit our requirements.
Unfortunately, our theme does not have such an option to minify the style.css file and we cannot recommend any plugins with this functionality because is not tested with our theme. For minifying this file, we are using CloudFlare for our demo and works fine. If you want to read other views from our users, please check this topic -> https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tip-how-to-easily-minify-your-css-without-breaking-your-site/
One of our top members here on the forum wrote his own optimization tutorial here:
https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/ and here -> https://www.infophilic.com/get-almost-100-pagespeed-newspaper-theme/
Basically, these are the theme requirements

Hi,
The website seems to be functioning correctly from what I can see. There would be room for some more improvements in loading speed if you want to make them. Test the website with the Google tool to see what can be done
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
Note that mostly plugins and ads slow the website down.
Those PHP warnings should not cause any problems with the website, you could check periodically if more are generated.
Hi,
Actually I have not seen these warnings before, why would they assume this is a known issue of the theme is beyond me. Those warnings could be caused if you used letters or other characters in the theme excerpt fields
– https://www.screencast.com/t/3RUeGG68LQ
Please check all the modules and see if that is the case. If you used the tagDiv composer which also provides the excerpt fields for modules, check them as well in your pages
– https://www.screencast.com/t/BlZLoLB9D9r
In terms of loading speed, there are many topics and guides that you read and optimize your website. Some of them here
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/score-100100-pagespeed-with-newspaper-wordpress-theme/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/newspaper-theme-speedify-your-website/
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tutorial-chriss-custom-optimizations-for-functions-php-etc/
We also recommend this Cloudflare configuration
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/cloudflare-cdn/
Of course the speed is also affected by plugins, server, and other aspects. You will have to analyze them and optimize the website for a better result.
Thanks
Hello,

Hi,
From what I can find online, Google AMP and Cloudflare Accelerated Mobile Links are linked. Found these topics
– https://blog.cloudflare.com/accelerated-mobile/
– https://antonyagnel.com/2017/01/13/how-to-enable-accelerated-mobile-links-in-cloudflare/
– https://www.cloudflare.com/press-releases/2017/cloudflare-makes-mobile-web-up-five-times-faster-with-accelerated-mobile-links/
– https://community.cloudflare.com/t/accelerated-mobile-links-question/487
The Cloudflare feature says it will detect if a page/post has AMP and serve that to users, Google will serve AMP content only through the search results. So the AMP plugin is required besides that setting. That is how I see it. You could search more online.
Thanks
Hello,
Unfortunately there is no option to make the grid load faster. What you can do however is make your site load faster by using a few speed enhancement techniques as shown here:
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/tinymce-advanced-and-other-various-disabling-speed-boster/
Also you can try a few user submitted solutions:

Thank you!
hello @Gerald
AMP and mobile theme both are different.
The mobile theme is designed especially for mobile. It shows simplified site for the mobile users. That loads a bit faster than a website without Mobile theme.
AMP is Google’s project that optimizes pages on SERP only.
You can use both AMP and mobile theme at the same time. If you have a news website, I recommend using AMP.
Thank you for your understanding.
You must have had the WPBakery page builder active as well, if none of the composers are active, only shortcodes will be displayed. The theme blocks and grids will be displayed by either tagDiv composer and WPBakery page builder.
This problem you are having is most unusual, the tagDiv composer is faster than the WPBakery page builder, so if this is not a hosting limitation then the results should be accordingly. Can you check what processes are consuming all these resources?
If you can, please install make a copy of the website on a sub-domain and install the latest theme version there. Check if the same thing happens. Use the duplicator plugin for example.
Yaps… this feature help a lot… my blog now faster than before 🙂
Hi Help Team,
Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader makes my site thechinexpress.com a lot faster. But, it breaks my site. Here is what happens;
- Though my site looks fine, whenever I click on the header image *blue color appears first.
This problem does not happen if I *off Cloudflare’s Rocket Loader. If possible I want to use Rocket Loader as it makes my site a lot faster.
You may follow this link to see screenshot of the problem and how to regenerate the problem to further understand what I mean.
Looking forward to your reply.
Thanks so much in advance
