Hello, I had this ‘thing’ forever, from start, when I changed the color in first place. The color that load first is black which lasts for less then half a second, and then it shows the right one.

The main reason for this are plugins similar to Speedbooster. When you send stuff to footer because you want your website to start rendering faster, then the css that shows other color then black in top menu bar is loaded after the default color.

So if you do not want this to happen then just deactivate or modify plugins similar to speedbooster.

For example you can even send the main css style from the theme to the footer. In this case your website will look broken for 200-300 ms.

After you make all this that I wrote, make sure to clear cache if you use caching plugin, or CDN.

The theme code was tested and optimized for best performance, we have a lot of clients and the theme works well on a large variety of hosts.
First please make sure that you use the recommended server configuration for Newsmag theme, you can check our documentation for more details: https://forum.tagdiv.com/newsmag-requirements-for-newsmag/
There are lots of factors that influence the site’s page-sped. I suggest you first try this without any other plugins active, leave just VC plugin active the check again.
To improve your server response time you can try to reduce the number of queries (fewer plugins, fewer blocks on page, reduce the elements which use ajax requests/pagination like mega menus/load more/infinite load), also consider using a cache plugin, we recommend the WP super cache plugin with the following configuration: https://forum.tagdiv.com/cache-plugin-install-and-configure/ To improve the loading speed look the mysql query cache: http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/query-cache.html we also use it on our demo.
Also you can use the speed booster to move the js and css at the bottom of the page, eliminate render-blocking, but not for all plugins. Check the System Status if the speed booster is active if you use other plugins than the tested ones. The theme doesn’t include this link in page source: http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jqueryui/1.8.21/themes/smoothness/jquery-ui.css so it might be related with a plugin. Also I’ve checked your site and the link doesn’t appear in page source.

BUT, when you say that I will have to change top post files which ones are those exactly?
Then, this code: [vc_single_image image="887"] is 887 some kind of id? How do I find that? Do I upload my image as I would any other? How do I make it responsive? Do I need to pay special attention on initial size?

To make this faster and easier regarding to the single post issue. Lets just say I want 1 image on all single post ‘pages’ (adding featured image at this point when thee is more than 8000 posts is out of the question) how do I do that?
-Open file….
-change what….
-upload image of size….

The cache plugin generates static pages which are stored in the memory and when a user makes a request the pages are delivered from the cache. By this the php execution and the database requests are skipped. But a cache plugin don’t move the css/js resources in footer, you will have to do this manually using the Speed Booster plugin.

First step in this process is to get the files ids so please follow this link: https://forum.tagdiv.com/how-to-make-the-site-faster/ At point 5 are explained the steps you need to take in this regard.
After you get the ids edit the td-speed-booster.php file (located in /your-wp-install/\wp-content\plugins\td-speed-booster) and add this lines of codes like here:
– for css files: http://screencast.com/t/GiBcnLERoj
– for js files: http://screencast.com/t/GAWqy0Bb6gE

Note that the Speed Booster plugin disable itself when an incompatible plugin it’s installed. We added this measure to avoid conflicts with the plugins that won’t allow to move their css/js resources at page bottom. For those with a dedicated web server, or VPS on shared hardware:

Make sure your server has 10/100/1000 switch vs 10/100 switch/connection in datacenter. Most older hosting companies only provide a 10/100 connection to the network where the modern servers all work better with gigabit switch. Even in our Class A datacenter (owned by IBM) we had to “ask” for that upgrade with our newest server package end of 2013, which was dumb. Now in 2015 they finally made that “standard” — but some still won’t give it to you unless you ask, or in some cases pay an extra $10/mo or whatever — it’s totally worth it as you have a 10x faster connection to the net for your physical box.
