I have a Flex Block which I filter by categorie. As long as there is no dropdown list I can click on a categorie and the posts are filtered. As soon as there is the list neither the visible categorie links nor the links for categories in the list work anymore. This is even the case when I only change the browser width, so the list appears, and then change back to full width. The links don’t work anymore.

when I first used a flex block it showed a full list of all selected categories, when needed breaking into two lines. Now I must have changed some setting for now it shows the first categories and a more link to a dropdown list. How can I change that back to the full list?

I recommend you to use a flex block for this and you have some settings in the Layout tab from where you can choose to show or not excerpts, image, date, author,etc.

About the error, did you set from Gutenberg in some posts the comment element? If is so, then this can be the problem that you get that message (because there are two comment sections on the post).
Unfortunately, there is no system to convert the blocks in flex blocks.
There are two methods to move from standard pack to cloud.
1. You install a demo that it is pro, but before this please make sure that you have a full backup for the website and database, because the current settings will be removed.
1. You replace manually each element and template from the website, for example you replace each block with flex blocks and import cloud templates.

Hi homebusinessmag, first you’ll need to replace all templates from the standard pack and only after that to disable it. Those shortcodes are from blocks, you can replace theme with flex blocks.

For some reason when I tried to “filter” this Flex block 1 to “NEWS” category it appear empty. I tried everything – Random posts, latest etc. Only when I choose “all category” I can see the demo posts. What should I do?

Thanks. I hope this is something you will be able to implement as soon as you can. This will give much better SEO flexibility and options. It is something I desperately need.
The only other way to solve this problem for me is to bring the main content area off the main page so it kind of scrolls up and down off the page and you would see a background stay static such as you will see happen on this site itnews.com.au as the content area is actually lifted off the main page as a separate element. Unless you can show me how to achieve this?

I have a bit of a complicated question you may not understand. However, I will try by best to explain this.
Currently my site is giving too many internal links on the front page causing it to bleed off internal page authority. After some doing some research I believe I may have found how to solve this problem but do not know how to implement it. I was hoping it could be done with some custom CSS

As you will see. When you scroll down all the items are part of the same front page. I have noticed in other themes/sites they do things a little bit different
Example of what I need to achieve. itnews.com.au (As you will see on the site when you scroll up and down the page there is kind of a background that stays static/still and the content area is what is what scrolls up and down. There seems to be two layers there. From what I can understand and explain. It brings the content area off the main page. This actually stops any links on the page being counted as internal
As the scroll happens on the site itnews.com.au you will see the content moves up and down with a background staying still and the footer area will stay static on the base of the page
It like the content area is lifted off the main html page or something.
If you have understood what I am trying to say here. Can you explain to me how this achieved

2. Unfortunately, you do not have the possibility to add new elements or create a slide with the block’s elements, sorry.
3. A shortcode can be inserted by using the element called “Column text” or “Text with title”. For example, in the step3 here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/add-cryptocurrency-price-ticker-widget/
Now, it’s possible to be a plugin conflict there if that plugin wasn’t tested with our theme, but you can make a test on a test page.
4. You can set a Featured Video there. Please check our guide from here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/featured-image-or-video/
The video image and button will appear in the flex block and when you click on it, then the video will appear in a modal.
5. You can set a featured audio for your posts as featured video.

The category filter isn’t working correctly on Flex Block 1 on my home page. I selected a category that has many posts (32) and none of the articles are showing, it is a blank area between several hairline rules 1/2 way down the page. Help, please? Other blocks seem to be working okay, so it appears to be a random glitch. As far as I can tell, the category is set up correctly. Thanks.

You can not have a full size image from a flex block as the featured image size.
A workaround there could be to add the image in an element (single background image or single image) and the flex block separately by choosing the option to hide the image.

You can replace the element t single related articles with a flex block and you can easily customize it and set the filter and after that error, it will not appear again.
For example, add a flex block in a post template go to the filter tab of the element’s settings and from the dropdown category filter you can choose between: Single – More from author, Single – Related by category, Single – Related from tags. Those special filters will work as expected.
In your case you should use Single – Related by category and this will pick up more posts that have the category the same as the current post.

You can not achieve this with the element Posts Loop, but you can do this only with the element called “Flex block”. Check the guide here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/flex-block-settings-guide/

If you click on any author from the right side, then you’ll get all the posts written by the selected author. If you want a page like this, then you can import the author template from this demo Music & Life PRO. Copy-paste the rows or elements from this page to another page. The filter for that flex block is Author – Current Author and this is working only on an author template. If you want to use it on other page/template, then you need to filter by author ID as it is describes in the flex block’s guide.

In order to speed up my site (since Newspaper is really slow with it activated), I’m trying to get away from the default pro template that I started with so that I can deactivate Standard Pack. Unfortunately, I cannot find block replacements for either Block 7, Block 14, or Big Grid 5.
I tried using the Flex Block 1 and Big Grid Flex, but both have thumbnails that are too large, and you can’t control the number of rows. I also couldn’t find any replacements in the cloud library.
Suggestions?
