I want only two image sizes and in Theme Panel I have selected these: 485×360 and 150×0. Does that selection in Theme Panel even make sense, given that I work with Composer? Does it do anything?
For the loop is use Flex Block 1 with 150×150 and for all singles I use the bigger image.
And, what is the triangle relationship between
1) Images sizes selected in Theme Panel
2) Image sizes available to chose in Composer
3) Image sizes generated on server
Ideally though, I’d like to use a 120×120 thumb. Can I pre-generate that size? Or is that always a dynamic resize from 150×0?

Hi,
I have made a site with a number of top level pages built with flex boxes, leading to posts. https://arr.news/ It is looking good, I believe.
However, I am very concerned now that the pages and so, essentially, my site, is not able to be read by the search engines. Is this so? This would seem ridiculous for a theme called ‘newspaper’ that is specifically designed to be for content rich sites. I can’t believe I have made a whole site with pages that are invisible to search engines.
If flexboxes cannot be ‘seen’, what can be done, simply, to make them readable? ie without redesigning the whole site.
I’m hopeful that there is an easy answer to this.

I am trying to set up module overlay colors. I want a single overlay color. I don’t want a gradient, however it seems to be, specifically for “Big Grid Flex” blocks, an option of 2 colors, and it wants gradient information.
How do I set an overlay color that is NOT a gradient?
Hello, I am using ‘Block Header 8’ in my Flex Blocks / Single Related Post blocks etc, to display my titles. The line next to the title is grey. I can’t locate the CSS to change the color from grey to something else. Please can you advise? Thank you
I also had that problem on an old ipad. I now use Flex Block 5 on my start page instead of Flex Block 1. Flex Block 1 causes a mess like jerryr56 described, Flex Block 5 works and can be layouted very similar.

Depends on the modules you are using. As mentioned above and mentioned by you, a 16:9 Ratio – 1920x1080p will do the job very well. Please note that in flex blocks you can adjust the thumbs in case of any unpleasant crops. If that doesn’t work we can try a css code if you are looking to reach a certain look on your elements.

Hi, I’ve created a homepage template.
I set a column with background color and activated the “sticky”.
I have this problem you see in this video:

After scrolling, the background disappears. And it reappears only if you go back to the page.
The post blocks are both “Flex Block 1”.
The column is unique (there are no two columns).

Hi, I’m using the “Summer pro” post layout.
On the right sidebar I have “flex block 1” with the last 3 posts of the “current category”.
The problem is that I also see the current post.
So, if I see the last post from the “sports” section, there will be the same post on the right sidebar.
I can’t set an offset, because the problem is dynamic (it shows up with the last post or even with the last second post, etc.)

I am using flex block 1. Added my post id to “post id filter” but it often shows up as no post. This happened to me many times on my other sites as well. For some posts it works, some posts it doesn’t. please see the screenshot here: https://imgur.com/a/PkKddA7

I can see that the “flex block 3” uses two different ratios by default:
218×150 (1.45 ratio)
485×360 (1.347 ratio)
The standard article post use (696×0) so this means it will be stretched/shrunk to 696 and original picture ratio maintained.
The posts loop also says (696×0) but that is not true when you look at the final result. On the screen is is 2×1 (2 ratio) so they are stretched/cut differently to fit the box here.
So all this seems very chaotic to me. I am not sure how to setup the different modules. It looks to be like a 16:9 ratio will work quite well overall since it is somewhere in the middle for for all the module defaults.
Any other input on how to manage the picture gallery and settings for the different pages would be great! I would like to be as close to the optimum for each used picture of course.

I wonder if there is a recommend image ratio for the articles.
Is it 16:9 or similar? I notice that some pictures get compressed to a width of 696x?. Would 696×392 be good format for the uploaded pictures?
I understand there are post templates that can be configured to use the pictures almost full page. This is sort of dynamic so I am just wondering how to deal with the whole issue.
Maybe I should upload 1200×675 by default or similar?
Any hints on how to manage this would be greatly appreciated.
I can see that the pictures as show in “flex block 3” and “posts loop” come out a bit different if I don’t adhere to some standard formatting. “flex block 4” seems to be able to use more height and cuts the picture less.

Unfortunately, the theme does not have the option to load a page in this way. With our theme, you can create the page content in the way you want to display.

The flexblock 3 has the structure like that:
~ first module with big picture in which you can have excerpt
~ second module with another some little pictures in which you can not add excerpts
So, you can not enable excerpts for module 2.

1.2.3 This is because the Newsmag theme do not understand that the page that you made and assign as search page to a search page, that is way I said that this can be achieved only with the search page that we provide, -> https://i.imgur.com/vmUt64m.png also if you want to display a message when there are no posts in block, then you need to edit the block that you use in the custom search page.
Also if you want to edit that element, I think that you are using the flex block 1, this is set on this path -> wp-content/plugins/td-composer/legacy/Newsmag/includes/modules/td_module_flex_1.php

Hi all! Loving the theme thus far just have a few customization questions. I’m sure it’s possible I just can’t figure out how to do them. I’ve watched several videos on customizing the theme and found a few help files, but couldn’t find anything related to what Im trying to do. I’ll submit the questions separately to keep things in order. This question is related to flexblock-3. How do I enable excerpts on the other four posts that the flex block allows you to display? 1. I created a page and using tagDiv composer I inserted a flexblock in the page that displays custom posts
2. I also added a search filter (search and filter plugin) to search the custom posts
3. When there are no results it is throwing a “blank” instead of displaying a message such as “No records found”.
Have not been able to identify the PHP file that is responsible for this behaviour. The site-wide search that you pointed to works on a site-wise basis. Any further help would be highly appreciated. Also the number of records also does not display.
