Hello Calin.
I faced the same problem again in block called Big Grid Flex 2.
As shown in your screen I disabled ALL in Block Settings expand Category tag on Modules
But the category name is still visible.
What I made was in this block properties I made the color of the category text and background 100% transparent and it bacame invisible. But it si not qute good solution I think.
It’s not that, it’s when you click on a news item and open it. Here I give you a snapshot of what it is. The image looks small and only happens in the flex module 1. If you go to another module on the page, you will see that this does not happen and the image looks big.
Hi,
I see you have add some custom code ( this one )
.td_module_flex_1 .td-thumb-css {
background-position: center top;
}
Please look for it in Newspaper>Theme panel> custom code> custom css
and try remove it, save and try again.
Thank you.
You could hide it with some CSS, enter a code like this in the Advanced CSS code phones section
.td_flex_block_3 .td-next-prev-wrap {
display: none;
}
Hi Calin,
Thank you for the tip. I have set up to hidden all home page content for mobile CSS. On the bottom of the home page I have created another flex block, with desired articles for mobile, which are set “show” only for mobile. Of course this new flex block is not visible in the desktop. In this way I have two separate layouts for desktop and mobile in the same page. Basically you can set up anything you want from desired articles to widgets or add’s. Is very important to set up correctly “show” or “hide” for every layout.
My question is: this method will affect in somehow the page performance, loading speed or SEO?
Thank you
Maybe try it like this – https://www.screencast.com/t/td8WIZIrBi3
– https://www.screencast.com/t/4oEPC0t3qwi
.td_flex_block_3 .td-next-prev-wrap {
left: 200px;
top: 30px;
width: 65px;
z-index: 99;
}
Note that on mobile devices this modification will not look good however

There is no design for the pagination in that location where the ajax filter is displayed.
Hi,
I don’t quite understand what you want to do. All blocks have the same forms of pagination, including flex blocks.
The pagination is displayed below the block, to not interfere with the block title and ajax filter menu if used

Hi,

Hi,
Please check the image size from Flex Block 1 Layout ( https://www.screencast.com/t/k4GpxKg1q ).
Also you can try Thumbnails – Fix strange looking images on blocks from here:

Thank you.
Hello, on the cover of my newspaper I put the type flex block 1. I need to put it that way with text below because I have it in all categories. The problem comes when I realize that when I click on any news in this block, the images come out very small. I have tried block 5, for example, and they come out to me as they should come out. In the other blocks the photos appear perfectly, it is only in this one. Could you fix this problem or tell me how to fix it?
Here I leave the screenshots of the photos:

Hi NickDeBaerdemaeker,
Unfortunately you can’t use TD Composer for mobile theme, but you can use flex block and set different layout in function of device :
On desktop: https://www.screencast.com/t/6HKNJjl35i
On mobile: https://www.screencast.com/t/Ik42eacS3DgK
Also you can read this topic: https://forum.tagdiv.com/topic/set-different-post-number-for-web-landscape-portrait-tablet-mobile/

Hello,
in tagdiv it is possible to change the number of modules in the layout of the flexblock.
Web is set to 5, tablet landscape 4, portrait 3 and mobile 2.
However we also would like to set the number of posts differently per format.
Web can display 15 posts at a time, tablet 12, portrait 6 and mobile 4.
We tried setting this differently but the number changes sadly for all options to the same value.
Am I missing something here or is this not possible at the moment ?

Hi,
Yes the thumb size of the grid is 1920 X 0, but your image have the height 1080px, is to big for the big grid full 1 (height: 480px), that way your image is set as cover.
If you like you can set a flex block 1 ( https://www.screencast.com/t/WkYy9cA9 )
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi,
Sorry for your experience so far, we do try to add only popular requests or essential settings in each update. I will try to help you with the questions you have and problems you are facing.
Indeed a 300x300px thumbnail size does not exist. You could use flex blocks and manipulate the image to have the dimensions you require (it won’t be an actual thumbnail)

Flex blocks can be customized to look in many ways, this is an example using flex block 1
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/newspaper/flex-block/
The theme received quite a few multi-purpose options a while back, we created some demos to showcase these multi-purpose capabilities. You can sort the demos here
– https://demo.tagdiv.com/select_demo/select_demo_newspaper
The front page can either be the default WordPress blog, or a static page designed with our tagDiv composer
– https://forum.tagdiv.com/homepage-how-to-build-and-set-it/
The static page will allow you to have more control over the content the homepage displayed.
Blocks, grids etc, can be sorted+filtered and many other settings

Please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks
There are indeed a ton of options!
I waste time doing the exact same thing.
You seem to have a good control of what you are doing on your new site, but I would make those fonts a little bigger.
and I also wish we could assign different size images for things more easily.
I have been using the “flex” layout blocks to get things exactly the way I want in regards to displaying images on standalone pages.
and I wish we had a little easier control over mobile menu items vs desktop menu items.
I know you can hide/show these things in CSS but they still load for a split second until css kicks in and hides them. which is hit or miss depending on your cache settings and connection speed and server speed.
Hi again,
My situation is this: I have a row on the front page split into two columns, 50-50. In this row I’m trying to run one instance of Flex block 1 in the left column and another (also FB1) in the right one.
In TD Composer everything looks fine, both blocks load fine side-by-side. But on the live website the right one always breaks and goes below, leaving the right column empty.
I’m fiddling around with CSS settings, but is there an easier way?
(Note: it doesn’t seem to matter which Flex block I put in the right column. Whatever’s in there goes down on the live site, even though it works fine in TD Composer).
The theme and TD Composer are latest versions and the site is still in early development with no custom code that would be relevant for this issue.
Any advice? What am I missing?
I tried with an actual phone (with iOS 12), not emulator. On a emulator it looks fine. Could be a problem with the flex block when using older safari versions. Maybe some of the CSS does not work in that case so the design breaks.
If you check the theme demo page with flex blocks does it look alright?

I could add this on our list and it will be checked, all I can do in this case.
Hi,
You you can hide any category you like, for example my feature category have id 2, and i will like to hide all post from this category, select the flex blocks select filter and set in Multiple categories filter: -2
https://www.screencast.com/t/yDL6K4sZRF
See results: https://www.screencast.com/t/pJq5rP8H
Also you can read more about filter here: https://forum.tagdiv.com/block-settings-tutorial/
Thanks.
Thanks for reply,
1. I asked the hosting supporter for cache and he showed me hot to disable opcache on server.
2. I fixed images cropped on Module Flex 1 by modified the child theme
3. I tested my site again with Google PageSpeed and they showed 4 css are render-blocking include td-composer css and theme css
” alt=”css render-blocking” />
i was send acount info to contact@tagdiv.com
Is any way to have <Hide featured post> option (as a filter) in Flexy Blocks? (Like in <post loop settings> from <pagebuilder+latest+pagination>??)
For example, to the Fútbol section, if it appears well on all devices and on Iphone 5, it only looks bad on the flex 1 block and that it has checked.
Love the cloud template and the flex blocks.
Odd thing though – “Article Inline” posts of Google adsense ads don’t appear in the posts I’ve created in the cloud template post themes. Work fine on sidebar and in footer, just not the In article ads.
I’ve set it to 3rd paragraph across the site in theme panel and appears fine in older posts.
Here is an old post and you can see the ad https://brandinginasia.com/derry-simpson-interview/
Whereas ads never appear in the new posts made with Cloud Template: https://brandinginasia.com/google-announces-three-fundamental-shifts-to-search/
Do I have to install Adsense code in the cloud template themes?
Thanks
Yah. I’ve done the same setting as you. Just seems to be a problem on Mobile.
Have a look at the home page – see the “Two Ads I like, One I Don’t” block section in the middle of page. That flex is set to random and works fine on desktop but try it on mobile always shows most recent posts.

Hello bobbymc,
Please provide some screens with your Flex Box settings so I can take a deeper look inside it. I have made some tests on my website and the Random Post sort order works as expected, as you can see here -> https://www.screencast.com/t/7EXljMDxZECj
Thanks for your understanding!
